there should be a tavern-keeper class, and one of his towers would be one of those dummies. It would have stupid high hp, but a chance to enrage any monster attacking it.
I'm a part of the Defense Council and I've been playing for a few days now. Really loving the new game! Not sure if I'm too keen on the medallions and totems though. I preferred the idea of armour that we had on DD1.
Good thing Armor and an evolution of the Relic system is coming back in Update 1 later this month ;).
TrendyEnt IKR! I'm so excited, I feel this game is moving in a good direction. Obviously still quite a few things to work on but we'd expect that in such early days. Was a huge huge fan of DD1 and Eternity although I'm going to partly blame you guys for not doing as well as I could have in school ;)

it's the same price if you can go for the defense council as there is no assurence that steam early access will give you council rights/goodies

The game was going to be a moba and they scrapped that whole idea. Clearly you don't follow it at all.

You didn't follow it at all, the moba was abandoned in spring 2013, from october 2013 they are gameplay of this and the FAQ on the web site clearly said the game wold be totally free to play, this faq was online from october 2013 to october 2014, and now?

It's a rip off to charge people to do your software testing of an unfinished product for you. You'd have to be a fucking mug to buy this before it's finished development.
Just dont make a ton of paid dlc.....PLEASE
There won't be DLC in DD2 as the game will be free-to-play. DD2 will be supported by ethical in-game purchases (cosmetics and that sort of thing).

Are you guys insane? How am I supposed to brag about how I've spent over a hundred dollars on DD2 by buying every single DLC pack you guys released, just as I did for DD1?
Jk haha, I'm so stoked. Been a crazy big fan of DD since I first discovered it, and I've already dropped a pretty penny into this game. Can't wait to play for free! Hopefully the cosmetic stuff isn't too steep, cause I'd totally be willing to support you guys by buying some.
