Back in 2006, I never thought I’d say this, but Craig has been the absolute BEST Bond ever… period. All the things I’ve always wanted to see in Bond movies over the years; how it all started, the glimpses into his childhood, the stark reality that this character is a bit psychopathic and a straight-up killer, less reliance on gadgets (even though I love them), and even what it would look like if he got killed; were fully accomplished in this era.
I still love the hell out of Connery, Moore, Dalton and Brosnan, but for me Craig is the definitive Bond.

I’m in the minority, but I like the Spectre film. I don't like how Spectre took some inspiration from the Austin Powers spoof series of James Bond. I can't believe that this was ever allowed to happen in the writing process of the film. Like most fans, I do like Spectre's opening credits sequence with the Day of the Dead celebration. I wish Mr. White was used more in Craig's Bond era, but I'm grateful for the closure that we fans got for him. I like M trying to keep the 00 program alive. Christoph Waltz would've been a great Blofield if the screenwriters and director had given the actor more to do in the film. Although I get where Sam Mendes is coming from, Daniel Craig’s Bond shouldn't have had gag jokes like falling onto the couch or the 009 music. Craig’s Bond was reset to a more serious tone in Casino Royale, and they should’ve stuck with that throughout Craig’s entire Bond era. Skyfall was a better film because it took the story seriously, and we fans took the story seriously because of it. Yes, there’s good comedy in Skyfall, but they’re not gag jokes like there were in Spectre. Also, No Time to Die disappointed me. In my opinion, the film's plot points were far too similar to Avengers: Endgame. Safin is Thanos; Bond has a daughter like Iron Man and sacrifices himself for her and his "wife." The five-year-late prologue was also very similar to Avengers: Endgame. If Craig and the Bond producers want to kill off Bond, you have to execute it right. Literally! There were too many plot contrivances in No Time to Die for my taste. Also, I hope the Bond producers stop copying from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Nolan's film series. I know that the Bond series has always taken inspiration from what's going on in the world currently, like Moonraker from Star Wars, but enough of that. Bond is iconic on its own, and the film series should stand on its own two feet, telling new stories. Last thing, the producers should’ve waited for the writer’s strikes to be over and then completed the Quantum of Solace script before making the film. Both Spectre and Quantum of Solace hurt Craig’s Bond era because they were rushed due to the Bond producers wanting to cash in on the fame of the previous films, Casino Royale and Skyfall. I just hope the Bond producers have a solid game plan for the next Bond era and where the story will go. I'm a long-time passionate Bond fan, and I want this series to thrive again with a cohesive story. Thank you for listening to me.

Asking Daniel if he wants to do another Bond film days after finishing the last one is like asking a mother if she wants to have another baby days after just delivering one. It’s just not a good time to ask that sort of question.

Is it my imagination, or are they subtly pushing the responsibility of the film on each other, knowing they have a dud in their hand.

Unfortunately the process of making Spectre was wayyyyy too relaxed. From having too many writers, to not even having a 3rd act written while you're filming. It's such a shame. Could've been an incredible film like Skyfall.
