Can't wait to see people experiment and develop Guttersnipe decks properly. It feels far too clunky for Burn, so we'll likely have people trying out combo builds like this or more controlly piles, and I'm here for both
Don't really play pauper but very cool turn 1 kill. The chances of this actually happening in game are extremely extremely low but I do find the concept of just being able to do it really neat.
what the heck. this is how i used to “play” against “opponents” when i was 13 years old back in 1995 -stacking my deck and imagining a win that never ever got close to happening when i played someone irl.
Yes in an ideal situation where you dont draw any lands, this might work... Bit too much of a theoretical win. Anyone, what are the odds of this happening?
Definitely a theoretical situation, but I think this is the intention (or I see it that way). For me, the intention is to show that it is possible, even thoug a real game play would be nice to see also
Appreciated the effort but this ain't working in most of metas :( Honestly I would love to see bans to saclands, lotus petal maybe even one ritual just to see the grapeshot legal in pauper.
Clever idea, but not very practical in the current meta. Most aggro decks will want to remove the Guttersnipe on sight since it’s both a ping threat and a blocker.
ye but what are the odds of having in the top 16 cards or so just a single land? And also just drawing a very fortunate distribution of card draw/advantage and mana rituals. Like drawing 2 lands when it didnt even matter anymore because it already happened so many unlikely things did not make me think, that this might be a common game. ANd dont u have manaless counters in pauper? And if we think in a more realistic way, that the deck wins about turn 4 or so, what are the odds that your opponent cant interact til fcking turn 4? they need a single bolt or anything and the deck is trash. still very entertaining Video btw but a little weird
remember that in Pauper there is an actual cost to play 2 colours and many might just be defenceless the first two turns trying to set up a tapped land and/or some early development plays and not necessarily open blue or red mana to deal with guttersnipe or other storm attempts well of course it is displayed as magical christmas land but just like other busted combos in the game a certain level of consistency is somewhat required to be even a viable deck and even more are not "forced" to be a turn 1 kill to be qualified as a "real" combo deck
That would only be impressive if he did that after a good shuffle. i I can accept a first hand pre-organised, altough explainnhow to mulligan with that deck could be interesting. But with the all deck pre-organised ... there is no point. If your first draw is not manamorphosis but a land ... then combo is over you are just a guy with a 2/2 T1 and an empty hand ...
dude had preplaced all the cards in the right order and then fakes he draw 2 lands naturaly and could of kept going. Nice shuffle in the end but you needed it before the game

Nice, I really dig this. Are you playing faithless looting?
I LOVE THIS MECH. haha would like to give this a try

That's the point. He stacks his 7 to show a theoretical 1 turn win. This almost never happens
”Pauper is a low power format because it’s only commons, you can’t even play Grapeshot in storm” - some dude who is incredibly wrong.
well that was quick
Recipe of this awesome Deck pls???? :'(
Very cool!
This is my favorite

The point is that it's possible, it's not supposed to be reliable. Very very few decks can pull off a t1 win.

This will never happen. Dislike.
