Need some help sir, my dad has a fs131 brushcutter which he brought 2 years ago brand new, he used the stihl long life green fuel ready mix. He has used it 3 times then stored it with fuel in the tank for over 1 year. Now it just doesn't start. I've drained the old fuel and primer valve and added new fuel. But still not even a beat. We tried pulling the cord several times but just didn't want to damage anything. Can you help me please.
Good Morning It seems you have done the correct procedure that I would of suggested to do to see if you can restart your brushcutter, though unfortunately the stale fuel is still in the carb. The only advice I can give you is to take it to your local Stihl dealer to get it serviced and next time drain or run the engine bone dry if your going store it for awhile!
