Awww the flashbacks at the end….had me tearing up 100%. I didn’t see Gigi being born, I came along right as you and Patrick got back together and you moved out of the haunted apartment. Lol! 🍫 But I feel like I’ve been around for so much of your lives. And it’s been so fun! You’re a pretty amazing young woman. And Patrick is a wonderful man. And your mom is a younger version of MY mom. She’s just like my mom. I swear my mom would’ve done exactly the same. Wash my dishes, buy my kids clothes, keep them day and night while I tried to recover from whatever surgery or illness or whatever was happening. I can remember her driving to the hospital in the middle of the night when I lost my first baby to stillbirth at 30 weeks. And going for a walk and ending up downstairs. We found this whole room of vending machines and she bought me chocolate pudding and sat with me. My husband at the time was just plain and simply exhausted and sound asleep. He slept through the phone ringing. (It was 1983 so before cell phones and all that. We had a phone in the kitchen. Lol!) No matter what I needed, or my children needed, or what time of the day (or night) it was, she was always available. Give her lots of hugs and treat her so good!! I hope you’re finally feeling better by now.
My momma was the same! She passed away in 2015 though. 😢 I lost my very best friend! She has multiple sclerosis and it just stole her life.she got two types of pneumonia and just couldn’t fight it But she was a,ways there for me with my three kiddos! This reminded me of her! She always let me get a nap in when my kids were small ❤ She took care of me even as an adult ❤
@van1593 I think it was much more than any one thing. When she needed to be the mom, she was. We had curfews and all that. But she was also FUN. She’d be the one driving me and my friends around at 1:00am looking for a pizza place that was open. She was the one that lived old movies, and we’d run up to 7-11 and get a pack of cheese and bread and make grilled cheese sandwiches and stay up until 2am watching Humphrey Bogart in the African Queen. When my guy friends would come over, she’d sit in their lap. She was just fun, and funny. But don’t make her mad. Lol. She had high expectations of us, to do our best, to tell the truth, to protect our body’s and our hearts. We had lots of talks as we grew up. She was always there for us. Helping us move, helping paint, helping with our kids, always an ear. Every time I called her, as soon as she heard my voice I could hear the change in hers. She was always so glad to hear from me. She always loved me even when I didn’t love myself. Even when I would tell her bad things about myself, she’d always stick up for me. Unconditional love. Do that for your kids, and you’ll have a relationship and a great one until the day you die. And they’ll miss you so much when you’re gone.
I literally just got this done this past Tuesday. It would've been easier for my hubby to get snipped however I want to make certain I don't have no more. I got three beautiful children. I wanted more but I was high risk with all of them. I lost a baby and I almost lost my most recent child when I was 26 weeks pregnant with her. She was thriving great but my body was giving out. We made it full term to the 37th mark exactly. I enjoyed carrying them and birthing them but not the stress of losing them. So I'd rather take no chances with it ever again in life.
Same! 3 kids, high risk, had lost 2 babies and finally got my third. My husband works a high risk job so it made sense for me being at home to get this surgery. I feel somewhat sad because my kids are amazing but relieved. I have the MTFHR gene so birth control is not an option when you get blood clots and other issues.
I'm 32 and have never had kids but my doctor was super supportive when I asked for a bilateral salpingectomy. She scheduled me super fast and I'm getting it done tomorrow. I'm so excited for it because I've tried so many types of birth control and I hated all of them. Your video is helping me not be so worried about the procedure, thank you!!
@@cheesypotatoluv Doing great! My doctor gave me 3 weeks off work since my job is pretty labor intensive. I didn't feel like I needed to take any of the prescribed pain meds. Ice, Tylenol and lots of ibuprofen worked fine for me. After about 1 week I was ok enough to get out of the house and move a little bit, but I had to wear an abdominal binder, I couldn't live without it lol. I was exhausted for the first 2 weeks and then started feeling close to normal the 3rd week, but still a little sensitive. The week I went back to work was good, felt normal but reaching, bending, crouching etc. felt a little funny but not enough to prevent me from working. So took about a month total to feel completely normal. My first period after surgery was normal too.
After watching this, I’m definitely making my husband get fixed instead of me! The male procedure is so much less invasive! I already had the babies, it’s his turn to have his stuff go under the knife! 😂 I’m so happy you are recovering well! ❤ You have such a beautiful family!
oh olivia.. i have been here since the beginning. watching you enter motherhood was so sweet to watch. i truly love your little family & i’m so glad you were able to make this decision for yourself!
Im having this done Sept 11. 38 and have fought 6 years to access this surgery where i am. Multiple health issues and meds that would cause major deformities in babies. Ive had 2 sons already and have been done. I cannot take birth control due to a very high risk of breast cancer. But still had to fight to get this surgery. Its rediculous. But im glad i finallt have a date. Thanks for sharing your journey
Whooohooo a long vlog . Longer vlogs are my fav to watch . My family tried to pressure me into tying my tubes after the twins and literally as I wheeled into the OR for the c section I changed my mind on having one 😂😂😂 not that I want anymore babies but idk I just couldn’t make that permanent decision for myself right now
I talk a lot… 😂 That’s awful for someone to try and pressure you into what to do with your own body 🤔 and I totally understand not being able to make that decision as I’ve been in that spot before but eventually with time and a few more kids the decision was easy to make & when you know, you know! 😊
I hope this doesn’t come off creepy but I could watch your vlogs daily . Thank you for sharing your experience with this procedure and your thoughts on it and how you came to the decision to go through with it. I have to say the montage at the end was so emotional and bittersweet. It really tugged at my heartstrings and I felt this combined joy and ache from the beginning to knowing it was the end of a chapter. I’m so glad you’re so happy with and comfortable with your decision. It always blows my mind when you state your age because you are such a levelheaded and mature young woman and have been as long as I’ve watched you. I do see a lot of growth and maturity in you as time goes by, but you have always seemed very thoughtful in your decisions even when you were younger. I can tell you’re very intelligent overall and you have a lot of emotional intelligence as well. As always, than you for sharing that which you feel comfortable in doing. I really love and thoroughly enjoy your vlogs!! Hope you are healing well and quickly and that you’re feeling much, much better!!
Love this comment. It's so so true! And I feel the same when she says her age. I feel like we're the same age, but then I realize I'm 9.5 years older, and probably less level headed most of the time 😅
I’m so proud of you and the great mother you are to G,H, and I! Love the video at the end. Made me remember filming your deliveries and how special it was to be there. Thanks for letting me be a part of it. Love, from Mom❤
I had 2 surgery done on my tummy one for a cyst (6cm) on my ovary and the 2 for my gallblader ❤ I was worse after the gallblader one feeling sick all day! I sleept the first week in my recliner chair it helpt for the pain in the shoulders and tummy! Hope you still feeling good ❤
Abdominal surgery is the worst. It’s the hardest recovery of all the surgeries I’ve had. That shoulder pain is gas and it takes a while to get that worked out.
Im having instant memories of my three sections when i watch this. Like i remember being hunched over scared to walk too fast bc of the incisions. I was so scared to laugh or cough bc it hurt so bad. Use a pillow if you know youre gonna laugh. 😅 It helps. I hate when people tell me how lucky i was i didnt have to go through labor. 😢 Like the obvious pain, hormonal problems, having to nurse while being in agonizing pain, and then waking up to care to a newborn while recovering. Rest up girlie! I hope you feel better! I have an iud bc i reduse to go through surgery again. 😂
Yeeeees! Find the best doctor. If you have one that isn’t listening to you, go to a different one! I wasn’t prepared for the flashbacks. As someone who’s been a subscriber since Gracelyn was a baby it’s been so beautiful to watch you evolve as a mother! ❤❤❤❤ but I know it’s also nice to be done with that chapter and just enjoy raising your girls!
Just had both procedures of mine done as well. I have 4 beautiful children so I don't feel to down about it. Right now I'm resting and recovering, best wishes to any woman experiencing this and you continue to still love and cherish every part of your self and journey❤❤
@@AA-yc9dq honestly the scar is so small and barely noticeable especially since half of it goes into your belly button! It actually looks more like a birth mark than a scar on mine!
I had two ovarian cysts removed so I understand the gas pain 😩 I had an adverse reaction and had heart problems from my surgery as well. I’m not sure if it was from the gas bubbles near my heart or what, but so scary!! I still am having heart episodes every couple of months 2 years later. It was also much worse than I expected. I needed help walking for 3 days. I did have 3 incisions. I also have a small umbilical hernia from the surgery. Its safe to say I never wanna have surgery again!! 🙃 I’m sure just a tube removal is a little less intense.
I had this done at the same time I had my las C-section with my 3rd child I had 3 C-sections and was so ready to be done I do miss my kids being babies but I don’t want more kids also I know I had this done and then started seeing a new dr and I told her I had this done and she said No! You didn’t you had tubal ligation! 😮 I said well I hope not because I signed papers that said I had my tubes removed 😒 I honestly don’t trust doctors
I've just realised that I was the very same age 25 as you when I got my tubes removed ànd I have 3 kids and I was a teen mum but back then 28yrs ago I was in the hospital for 3 days and I had a 3 week old but I had to get it or I would have had more than 3 lol you will be glad you got it done ❤
❤hope you have a fast recovery i had my after my last baby right after like 30 minutes and it was really bad I gad a really hard time but the doctors recommended me to do it right after .
This was very informative. The procedure sure has changed since I had my tubes tied almost 25 years ago. I hope you’re feeling much better. And your recovery will be fast.
Hi im 38 years old, and have 5 kids. I will be having mine done next week. Im getting the call from the hospital this week for procedure and other needed details prior to surgery. I'm here to see what the post-op will be like. The days after surgery too
Oh my goodness, the ending, im crying and I just did my makeup😂 you’re such a good mom olivia, I remember finding your videos when I was pregnant with my son back in 2018. He’s 5 now and we’re still watching. You’ve always been so inspiring to me. I’m very glad that you were able to get this procedure done too. I’ve been wanting to get this done as well, im 24 and only have one child & single momma but he is special needs (autism) so my hands are FULL lol hoping a doctor will let me!!
I’m so glad this is behind you, rest and take care of yourself, then take Patrick to go get a vasectomy lol just kidding, it’s so much harder on us women than the procedure for the man. Love, hugs and prayers♥️🥰♥️🙏🏼♥️❣️❣️❣️❣️I was 22 when I had my son and I wanted my tubes tied and they refused, because of my age, which I knew I only wanted one, it is like they make that choice for you, crazy.
Thank you for putting this together. Hearing your experience makes me feel more prepared to get this surgery! I'm 28, no kids, and knew from childhood that I never wanted to be pregnant. I'm working on getting a referral right now, hopefully will be scheduled for it by January!
this gave me ptsd flashbacks of my c-section 😂 and i had crazyyyyyy pain in my right shoulder from gas, i called them air bubbles lol. it was terrible, im actually really scared to have more kids 😅 csections are no fun 😢 i have BRCA1 and will have to have a hysterectomy sooner than hoped, thankful i got to watch your experience! i’m so glad your surgery went well!! ❤
They didn’t want to tie my tubes since I had only 1 child. I told them that they wouldn’t hesitate to tell me to get an abortion if I got pregnant so they tied my tubes. I have not regretted it. Hope you are feeling back to normal now ❤
I just got mine removed at 28.. and had my 3rd boy. Shoulder pain is a thing with this surgery. It stinks but the recovery this time around with the salpingectomy is 1000 x worse.. I feel this video.
You probably had a rough night and also trouble sleeping because you didn’t want to take the tramadol! You could have taken an extra one. They’re not even considered a narcotic anymore ❤
I had my tubes removed one year ago today at 24 almost 25 years old. Third boy and I was done! My boys are (almost) 6,4 and 1 years old (today!!) I’ve been watching you since the beginning. ❤
I had laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis years ago and it was pretty painful, so I am sure what you had was the same. Any kind of surgery sucks. I hate that you had to go through all this to have your tubes removed when be could easily get a vasectomy. Ugh. It is so much less painful for men. Kudos to you though for taking the leap. You have always been the type to take control of things so I can get why you just wanted to do it. I have been watching your videos since Gigi was born. It is crazy to think you won’t have any more kids but you have a perfect family! The flashbacks made me cry ugh
Wow I so enjoyed seeing the ending of all the memories we shared together through your journey of motherhood! I’m glad the surgery went smooth! We need to see more of Patrick’s sweet smile and personality! We miss him !! 🥰🥰🥰
Yeah there’s still a chance when you have them tied but less with removal. Although it’s still technically possible with removing but very very very low chance and extremely rare
I had my tubes burnt off in the 90's 5 years after my pregnancy did I have them burned off I had endometriosis really bad so had surgery for that to. I also found out in 2006 that I had stage 4 ovarian cancer fought that and have been cancer free ever since. I did do 15 weeks of chemo Mon thru Friday 8 hours a day. They don't do chemo like that anymore that long. I'm just glad to be here cause my family has a history of breast cancer and congestive heart failure.
Hi Olivia I am so happy for you and Patrick with rhe decision you made. I did mine 30 yrs ago.I love your jouney down memory lane I started watching you when Gigi was born then Hazel than Isla what a beautiful family. Thank you for sharing your beautiful family.
I had my tubes cauterized while giving birth to my second. Best decision I ever made!!! I had two c sections and I knew I didn't want a litter of kiddos. I had one of each and I'm happy with it. ❤
I had a c section then they removed my tubes an I they had a hard time keeping me awake an I lost my hearing an vision I didn’t realize my daughter was born
Im sorry i didn't know that i haven't gotten my tubes tightened and im 36 almost 37 why because im single and free for 9 years and still have 1 daughter i don't have to worry about getting surgery
In Germany its Not allowed to do this when you Are younger than 35 years. 2 years ago with 30 After my 3 Child i wanted to do this, but they Said no. Now i‘m unplanned pregnant with my 4. th Child 😅😢🙈 and it‘s very expansive Here… 1300€…
I came across this video as I'm looking to have it done. Thanks for sharing your experience! I'm 30 and my daughter just turned one, I've got a supportive doctor and we agreed we'd start the process at 12 months post partum. I'm in New Zealand. My referral has gone through and I got the wait time back on the public health system is 6-12 months to get an appointment with a gynecologist to discuss it, if I get an appointment as they can say there's too much strain on the health system and refuse altogether as it's not a priority surgery. If I'm ok'd for it then it'll be another waitlist for surgery, no idea how many years that is. I've contacted to go privately but my health insurance will only cover $1000 towards sterilisation - that would cover a vasectomy but I've been quoted $17,000 out of pocket for this. Hopefully something will work out.
Ugh that sucks, I’m sorry 😢 luckily I only had to pay $700 after my insurance covered the rest. The grand total was like 30,000! 😅 I’ll be thinking of you and I hope you can get it done!
I really like your channel! I recently started watching your channel again. I relate to you so much as a mom. It sounds like you have a really nice mom! That is so important! I have 3 kids like you and I don’t want anymore either. I’ve been separated from my husband now for 5 years. I don’t plan on getting back with him and I’m not interested in anymore relationships. I had my last child at 39 years old so it really took it out of me. My 3 children are my world!
@@melissaaarojas the scar is very minimal!! Hard to notice unless you’re close up and half of it goes into my belly button. It’s faded to light pink now. Only symptom is first day of my period is extremely painful and have bad back/ovary pain. My periods in general are actually way lighter now and I don’t cramp as much which is interesting because a lot of people say opposite happens to them. Overall still very happy with my decision & no super crazy side effects!
I’m considering removing mine as well! I am getting ready to deliver my son this June, and because it’s a scheduled c-section, it would be an easy add-on procedure. My only concern is that I’ve heard that women have adverse effects from the procedure. Though the ovaries continue to work, I hear that the blood flow directed to the ovaries changes, which may create significant hormonal and health issues. Have you noticed any changes, or are you loving it? Lol
shoulder pain is super common after laproscopic procedures because of the insuflation they use! I'm sure by the time you see this the gas pain will have decreased but you can always try simethicone which can help your body absorb the gas quicker!
Oh that clips at the end made me tear up!! I've been here since gigi was a few months old and you being a young, single mom! I'm so proud of the mom you are today! You are such an amazing person Olivia. And I'm so happy for you and Patrick. He's such a good guy!! I love your little family!!❤❤❤❤
Had mine done yesterday. After having two c-sections, I haven’t felt any pain other than burning sensation at the bellybutton incision. Also best decision because my husband and I were done having children and hormone birth control made me go manic and self harming.
My pain was regular. Wasn't to bad. I cry when I woke up. I felt like I betrayed my body. But I got over it. I had 5 children. I had enough.
I had mine removed at 38..no kids...best decision for me ❤
I got tubal ligation at 36 September 8 2022

I wasn’t prepared for the flashbacks. As someone who’s been a subscriber since Gracelyn was a baby it’s been so beautiful to watch you evolve as a mother! ❤❤❤❤ but I know it’s also nice to be done with that chapter and just enjoy raising your girls!
Thank you!

Just had both procedures of mine done as well. I have 4 beautiful children so I don't feel to down about it. Right now I'm resting and recovering, best wishes to any woman experiencing this and you continue to still love and cherish every part of your self and journey❤❤
I’m doing this but I really don’t want more surgical scars😢
@@AA-yc9dq honestly the scar is so small and barely noticeable especially since half of it goes into your belly button! It actually looks more like a birth mark than a scar on mine!
Always a good day when you post!
Wtf! I’m crazy and read all my MyChart documents and surgery report and mine were def removed 😅that’s insane
❤ I've had the procedure...no problems. Hope you do well. Praying for you. Mikalyn Daugherty WPB Florida
Hi.how are you 👋
I had my fallopian tube removed after my 2nd C-section. It’s definitely painful! I hope you recover quickly!
Why not get your tubes tied instead of removed?
Edit…ok! I completely understand your choice now! I wish I had done that 15 yrs ago lol
I'm 43 I'm going into hospital before the year is out to have my tubes removed so thankyou for the video and information ❤
I am 66 years andhad my tube tied at the age 23 after had two kids o
I've been following since GiGi was a baby, and this almost made me cry 😢.
Does anyone else miss Hazels extremely judgemental baby face??? 😂
Thank you! She still has that face and makes it often 😂😅
I already commented but the ending was too beautiful! Good job momma! All your hard work and such a beautiful family ❤️
I believe the shoulder pain is from the anesthesia. Does hurt ...tons. Good luck
Wow, I've been watching your videos for a very long time.😁💞
Yeah yup I’m not crying nope not at all 😢… bitter sweet loved it thank you for sharing
I love the end , you made me tear 😢Reminds me how amazing is for us to be Morhers 🙏🏻❤️

@@luzbarrios3863 don’t be scared!! It’s a very easy process 👍🏻 the worst part is the gas pain the first few days after the procedure!
@@OliviaRose3 thank you very much. I really appreciate that thank you.❤️🙏
The end had me fully sobbing 😭😭😭 you’re so wonderful Olivia. Thank you for sharing with us, you should be so proud of yourself ❤
I had a bilateral salpingectomy but instead of going through my stomach they went in through my vagina so it’s a little less invasive.
They won’t do mine I’m now 29 I’m in the uk
Thank you!!❤ good luck 😊
I’m so glad this is behind you, rest and take care of yourself, then take Patrick to go get a vasectomy lol just kidding, it’s so much harder on us women than the procedure for the man. Love, hugs and prayers♥️🥰♥️🙏🏼♥️❣️❣️❣️❣️I was 22 when I had my son and I wanted my tubes tied and they refused, because of my age, which I knew I only wanted one, it is like they make that choice for you, crazy.
Xx
Thank you for putting this together. Hearing your experience makes me feel more prepared to get this surgery! I'm 28, no kids, and knew from childhood that I never wanted to be pregnant. I'm working on getting a referral right now, hopefully will be scheduled for it by January!
this gave me ptsd flashbacks of my c-section 😂 and i had crazyyyyyy pain in my right shoulder from gas, i called them air bubbles lol.
it was terrible, im actually really scared to have more kids 😅
csections are no fun 😢
i have BRCA1 and will have to have a hysterectomy sooner than hoped, thankful i got to watch your experience!
i’m so glad your surgery went well!! ❤
They didn’t want to tie my tubes since I had only 1 child. I told them that they wouldn’t hesitate to tell me to get an abortion if I got pregnant so they tied my tubes. I have not regretted it. Hope you are feeling back to normal now ❤
EXACTLY!!
I just got mine removed at 28.. and had my 3rd boy. Shoulder pain is a thing with this surgery. It stinks but the recovery this time around with the salpingectomy is 1000 x worse.. I feel this video.
I had the laparoscopic sterilization surgery where they went in by my navel and burned off the ends of my fallopian tubes.
You probably had a rough night and also trouble sleeping because you didn’t want to take the tramadol! You could have taken an extra one. They’re not even considered a narcotic anymore ❤
I did the tramadol that night & it did nothing like I said 😅 lol. The pain didn’t last too long though, only a few days ❤
Okay I just made it to the end , mom life took me 2 days to finally finish the video , OLIVIA IM SOBBING 😂😂😂😂 that was such a beautiful tribute 🩷🩷🩷🩷
Haha Awhh well thanks for watching! Even if it took 2 days 😂🩷
I had my tubes removed one year ago today at 24 almost 25 years old. Third boy and I was done! My boys are (almost) 6,4 and 1 years old (today!!) I’ve been watching you since the beginning. ❤
Ahhh I’m 24 and have 3 boys. 6,3, 2 months, and I get mine in the morning. I’m terrified.
I’ve had 2 c-sections so I definitely know how you feel and I am going in sometime in March to get my tubes tied
Am not sure if it’s for everyone my mom got her tubes tied and she still got pregnant with my last sister
Yeah there’s still a chance when you have them tied but less with removal. Although it’s still technically possible with removing but very very very low chance and extremely rare
After a cesarean , I got the salpingectomy included in my last delivery. 3rd boy,.
The shoulder and collar bone pain after my hysterectomy from the gas bubbles was almost worse than the stomach
My hubby is getting a vasectomy on Friday. He’s 45 and I’m 35. We only have one 12 yo together and she’s plenty 😅.
5 pregnancies?! Girl what chapter did I miss😅
Nothing! 😊 I just chose not to share my other pregnancies that didn’t make it to term.

Ughh that’s gotta be so frustrating!!!
I had a partial hysterectomy done I’ve never had kids but I had really bad periods! But I hope have a speedy recovery
This was very informative. Thank you for sharing your experience. I hope you heal quickly ❤
So nice seeing Patrick in videos again!!!! Omg your end recap videos were so emotional I've been watching since the beginning. Love you guys xxxxx
crying watching your memories. it’s a beautiful life olivia ❤❤
Thanks for sharing!!🩷🩷
That was a beautiful tribute to your 3 beautiful girls at the end Olivia ❤❤❤

Can we get an updated video please? :)
What would you like to know? ☺️
@@OliviaRose3 how do the scars look? Any symptoms short or long lasting ones
Lol
I haven’t noticed anything other than on the day I ovulate I have intense back/hip pain and bad cramping but it’s only for 1 day! That’s it ☺️
shoulder pain is super common after laproscopic procedures because of the insuflation they use! I'm sure by the time you see this the gas pain will have decreased but you can always try simethicone which can help your body absorb the gas quicker!
Yeah it’s been over 2 weeks since this video but thank you! 😊
You’re a wonderful mama!
Thank you so much!!
Had my procedure yesterday best decision I ever made for myself and I do have a 1 year old that I’m beyond grateful for ❤
Had mine done yesterday. After having two c-sections, I haven’t felt any pain other than burning sensation at the bellybutton incision. Also best decision because my husband and I were done having children and hormone birth control made me go manic and self harming.
How was you after surgery
Can you still get pregnant after this surgery
@@TableBook after this surgery you won’t be able to get pregnant naturally but can with medical intervention.
