Dany (Daniela) acts out the emotions of the character as she is playing, and this one is psychotic. Queen of the Murder Scene is a concept album which tells the story of a girl with unrequited love who ends up murdering the object of her affection, then battling her evil side for control. By the time Dull Knives comes around, the evil side is winning and the girl is desperate and contemplating suicide.
The singer/guitarist is Daniela (Dany). She is so expressive while she's singing! Rock lovers everywhere are reinvigorated by these sisters from Monterrey!
A phrase coined by a fellow TWA soldier: "Dull Knives" is the Mona Lisa of rock songs.
Tom, I was one (of several no doubt) who requested this song. What amazes me most, in addition to these ladies' talent, is how they developed their love of pure unadulterated hard rock in the present sea of garbage that constitutes pop music. Adding to my appreciation of these 3 is that they write their own songs. As a 66 y.o. "fossil," I don't get excited about young musicians much. But these 3 sisters truly reaffirm my hope for the future.
Hi David! If you don't know the band called "band-maid" I suggest you watch their videos. It's a Japanese group, all young female musicians who kill the stage with incredible hard rock music.
@@marcfromparis333 Thanks for the recommendation. I'll check 'em out!
These 3 young ladies are about to take over the world. Hold on tight.
Great reaction! This was from the practice room in their basement known as the Warning Cave. This performance was part of a multi-artist virtual concert to benefit small venues suffering from the pandemic. Sometime you should watch their 2014 cover of Metallica’s Enter the Sandman that went viral and set them on the path to stardom. It was shot in the same room and provides an interesting perspective on how much they have developed both physically and professionally. 👍😎
Yes, and that room was meant to be their dad's *Man Cave* 😁
You've been totally warned! 😂
Oh, on the subject of seeing them live... There is no greater rock and roll band to see live than The Warning. I am 53, and have seen nearly all the rock and roll "Greats" from the 70s through the early 90s (when rock, err.. good, music ceased to exist), and After my first concert by The Warning, all of those shows are mere fuzzy, bland memories. Do whatever it takes to see them live. It's a life-changing experience.
Imho: this is how music for a trio band should be made and played. It's impressive in any ways, but especially the... no: THE bass makes it so full.
Their 2020 North American tour was all set, but the pandemic came across 😔 and it was called off. But I'm pretty sure they will tour your way once it's safe. Do you wanna hear one song in Spanish? Try Narcisista, it's a response to those critizing them for writing and singing in English. I would say music is universal, the language doesn't matter as long as the music makes you rock. I'll give you the link to Narcisista down below. Oh, by the way, this Dull Knives version was done at their home basement in Monterrey, Mexico.
Live is the best way to watch The Warning. 🤟🤟🤟
I have two loves in my life. Nightwish and The Warning. Present and Future. These young ladies are born to be rockers. So much talent, work, passion. You name it, they have it. Best Band in this Universe. Viva The Warning! 🤘🇫🇮
I've got those same two too. Plus Band-Maid as a third to that pack.
@@someperry7263 Just like me! 😁
great combo! I love The Warning and Nightwish too
Welcome to TWA, I see it in your eyes, there is no way back with these three prodigies, few times in a lifetime we discover a group and you liked 100% of their material, this is one of these groups.
Dull Knives is their second best song in my opinion, and my opinion is the only opinion that matters to me. You cannot go wrong with any choice. There are only songs that I don't love quite as much as others. You have to go all the way back to their EP when they were just getting started to find a song I wouldn't gladly listen to over and over on repeat. They are that good.
Let me figure it out your favorite song..... is the end???
@@luisretana665 Luis! How did you ever figure that out? I've never told anyone that before. You are just plain amazing my friend. Did you enjoy rehearsal as much as I?
@@markbell4982 since Luis didn’t answer I will. Yes Mark I did enjoy rehearsal even though my dam internet signal wasn’t coming through in the place were I was working at but I saw pieces of it live. And that Martirio was awesome.
@@tomcruise8603 lol now you sound like me, So Cal Boy. And yes I really didn't like it much when I first heard it. I was hoping it was just the poor sound quality, but wasn't sure. It sounded quite good today though.
@@markbell4982 Guess who else coughed up Patreon money just to hear that great rehearsal. Give up? Me!!!
No doubt that these sisters are insanely talented and will become rock legends!!
These were the best three minutes of attitude and rock and roll of 2020!
Their third album is coming "Soon" and wil be a sonic tsunami!
Viva The Warning!!
Three minutes of hard rock goodness! This is the ninth song in the concept album Queen of the Murder Scene. I'm telling you, it is worth your time to go through it (especially when there are even better songs).
Well, just one really. 😉
This was too easy, he is already a fan (and so am I) !
This is their own studio at home btw, we call it TW Cave.
I have no idea how many TWA "soldiers" (hardcore The Warning fans) you made happy and proud by your reaction to this song but it's no stretch to say "all who got to watch it".
Awesome job. I love that you feel what I feel when watching this band. What's not to love, right?
Next one soon please!
Thats their rehearsal space in their home’s Basement and oh Yeah You have Been Warned !
Bravo! Thanks for doing my suggestion! Now you have heard track 1 and track 9 from Queen of the Murder Scene. Yes, these sisters are masters of their instruments (including all of them on piano). Yes, they all sing with great harmonies! But, what sets them head and shoulders above other bands ins their incredible songwriting. They literally do not have one bad original song.
Glad to see you diving head first into this rabbit hole. You will NOT regret it.
I always suggest doing the full Queen of the Murder Scene in order, LIVE! I am a 50 something old school rocker and metalhead, and I can tell you, the album is a MASTERPIECE!
In this video, you can see Dany (Daniela, Guitar) fully inhabiting the main character of the story. Live it is a whole 'nother level! These sisters are three unicorns from the planet Rocktopia!
Next I will suggest the title track from their first album, and their ONLY music video to date. The lyrics are incredibly insightful and the video is a another masterpiece. Here is XXI Century Blood (21st Century Blood): ua-cam.com/video/syTyga3lVL0/v-deo.html
What he said! Only I think they are interdimensionnal beings, who choose us, not the other way around. Cheers! You've been chosen, by the way. In TWA speak, you have been WARNED!! Enjoy! The addiction is never ending and always intensifying.
It's mindblowing to see how good they are at such a young age. Few bands have ANYTHING on them, especially on them, ESPECIALLY for their age. Bravo.
Simply perfect. I love everything about this song. Its their masterpiece. The composition is note perfect. The delivery is devastating. It is indeed the Mona Lisa of rock songs. 🤘🏻❤️⚠️
3:52 "Gaddamnnnnn" lol 😆 😂 🤣 😄
This is rock and roll awesomeness!! Looking forward to the next one. 🤘😎🤘👸👸👸🔥🔥🔥
It's their basement practice/rehearsal room they call "The Warning Cave". In front of them is a wall that's a huge mirror so they can see their performance allowing them to work on them in preparation for live shows in front of crowds.
I've always wondered, how in the world did they get that mirror in there!!! lol
As short as it is, is my fav off QOTMS. Pau adds more fills in this version, as well as in concert as compared to the album though.. and it's even BETTER!
Great reaction!!! Thanks for reacting to my fave band in the universe :) I look forward to following your continuing journey into the wonderful world of The Warning.. I think you are going to enjoy the ride!
You were Warned, no turning back now! 🤘😎
Ellas son la nueva generación...La música Vive 🤟🏼 The Warning.
😎🇲🇽✌
granDIOSAS !!!
More, more and more The Warning please!! 😁
Their parents were big music fans and in particular classic rock, so they were always watching videos of old concerts. However, there are no other musicians in the family. They started the girls on classical piano around age 4 or 5 (there are videos of them playing various pieces, in practice or in recital, sometimes four-hands). I think Dany was around 7 and Pau 5 when their parents bought them Rock Band (the video game), which they were playing endlessly, so their parents asked them if they wanted to play other instruments. Their parents posted various videos of them on UA-cam simply so their relatives could see what the girls were doing, but in 2014 one of them (Enter Sandman) went viral. You'll find it easily, and for any age (much less 14, 12, and 9) it was a really good performance. This got the attention of Ellen DeGeneres, who arranged for scholarships to the summer program at Berklee College of Music (here) in Boston, and things took off from there.
They're very nice and are certainly not full of themselves, but they are full of confidence, and rejected a number of offered record deals because the labels wanted them to change their music, style of dress, etc. One hapless executive asked them whether they'd rather play for 12 people or 12000, and they replied that they'd rather play the music they like the way the like for 12 people than something they didn't like for 12000. In the event, they've played the music they *do* like for audiences in the 20000 range at festivals in Latin America. They did sign with Lava Records late last summer, after 7 months of negotiation to get the deal that they wanted; they were otherwise prepared to continue independent.
A lot of people (including their father) wanted this song to be longer. They tried a variety of things but decided that the song was just right as is; they suggest to repeat it if someone wants it to be longer. It's an absolute compact gem of a head banging hard rocker.
Welcome and enter the amazing rabbit hole that you can't get out of. If you like this one, check out
Survive by the warning band
Last Year they were Starting their First North American Tour in March and April but because of the covid-19 the postponed it for October November but since the virus didn't seem to let up they went ahead and Cancelled The Tour and they were also playing in London England and that to was postponed
They are just amazing
Enjoyed the reaction. I felt same way first time. Just wait until you hear the song “Queen of The Murder Scene “, it’s so good! Look forward to the next one. Thank you.
There are other sibling bands that are fairly new and began around the same time as The Warning, there is Motion Device, Liliac, and Greta Van Fleet all keeping it alive. Of course, you already heard Lovebites and with these five bands you can't go wrong
Nice reaction!!! TW Power!!
Beyond amazing!
Great reaction Tom Tuffnuts!
Thank you for sharing your reaction to my favorite band with us.
Thank you!
🔥🤘😎👍💯👏
Two reactions and down the rabbit hole you go!
It’s getting a little crowded down here but you couldn’t have fallen in (pun intended) with a better bunch of fans.
These three amazing young ladies are the real deal!
Subbed
Three minutes of pure bliss...Too short? Play it again Tom!

Awesome reaction. Do more reaction of The Warning. You won't be disappointed.
This performance was part of a multi-band live stream concert fund raiser last year. Lizzy Hale saw this performance and instantly asked them to tour with her!
You want to see passion- check out their live performance of Narcisista. Their Mexican critics said they turned their backs on their heritage because they sing in English and do not follow the traditional ways. The Warning's answer is the song Narcisista. I basically tells those critics to kiss-off! It was written and sung in Spanish to make sure those critics could understand every word!!! Here is the link to that performance and the lyrics translated: ua-cam.com/video/O7IAEhN4RMM/v-deo.html
Translation: Pau: And now for all of you, for the very first time with lots of excitement. This is Narcisista! Lyrics: They say that they must pray for me, They’re very worried but I don’t see them doing much praying, It’s no big deal. Leave all of your judgments and get away from me; please! Criticize me a little more. I find myself amused by all that they say (about me), of all their cursing. Let me laugh at it little more. Because you don’t know anything (about me), you run your mouth and never shut up, I cover my ears and simply say, Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na Let me dismiss the list I’m not crazy nor a malinchista (google it 😜) Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na They say I’m an egoist A damn narcissist I don’t know what to do anymore I don’t see the point in pretending, I won’t even try (to pretend) because I already know, That behind closed curtains they keep on talking (about me), their good intentions are always meaningless Don’t think that you can fool me with that disguise. Because you don’t know anything (about me), you run your mouth and never shut up, I cover my ears and simply sayyyy, Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na Let me dismiss the list I’m not crazy nor a malinchista. Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na They say I’m an egoist A damned narcissist, (Dani’s awesome guitar solo 🤘🏼😜) Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na Once again I’ll dismiss the list I’m not crazy nor a malinchista Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na They say that I’m an egoist A damned narcissist!
To add extra insult to injury (to the critics):
1) It's all but impossible to dislike the song. It really hurts to be a critic when the response is something you can't help but like even though you really don't want to.
2) It's very popular in Mexico; watch any of the live shows there where they play it, usually as the set closer. One of the top musicians in Mexico, Jay de la Cueva, joined them in New York, where he played a second guitar and added a blistering solo of his own. They returned the favor several weeks later when they opened for his band (Moderatto) in Mexico and joined them on stage for their closer. Pau obviously wasn't playing drums, but she absolutely stole the show fronting the combined band.
@@robertkrawitz8237 _"all but impossible"_ would include *possible* right? 🙄
You just did a swan dive into The Warning rabbit hole.
Thats what am talking about DULL KNIVES!! thanks bro
Just imagine the Warning and BAND-MAID on the same stage it would be EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!
Great reaction again. Thanks
You need to check out some of they're earlier stuff. They're cover of Metalica, Enter Sandman from almost 7 years ago or one of they're original songs from a TED Talks at the University of Nevada 4 years ago called Survive.
BTW, 2 Warning reactions = new sub here. Because if you made it through two, you will not stop. ;)
Three minutes of pure bliss!! 🤟❤️
Se m pandemia, elas estariam terminando a tour na Europa. Apenas e tão somente...
Welcome to the club, brother!
Great reaction my friend. The Warning and Jinjer reactions on back to back days, that's a great thing. I'm gonna suggest reacting to their only spanish song to this point, (I believe they have another one coming out on their soon to be released 3rd album) and that song is Narcisista. It's a song they wrote to all of their "haters"/ "critics" because certain latin critics especially have criticized them because all of their songs are written and performed in English, and they see them as sellouts to their culture. So this song is basically a big F.U. to those critics letting them know that they are gonna write songs and perform how they want to regardless of what they think. Even though it's in spanish, and you might not understand it as much, your still gonna love it Tom because it's a great song, of course it is, because The Warning wrote it. Keep up the great reactions my friend, and as always, stay Metal. 😊🤘🤘🤘🤘🎶🎶🎶🎶
Looking forward to it, we shall get a reaction soon :)
@@TomTuffnuts YAY!!!!

Please react to CLUTCH (the best band you've never heard of ©). I suggest for your first go, either Electric Worry (their most well-known song), Burning Beard, 10001110101 or A Quick Death In Texas.
FYI...this same comment will appear ONLY if I have watched your reaction video. I am not here to spam your channel...I just want to help get a great band some much deserved recognition. P.S....I will always give your reactions a thumbs-up, even if I don't care for or like the band or song you react to...because I like you and your channel. Cheers!
I agree with you about the Warning I've been listening for a few years now. How about reacting to a young family band called Liliac 2 sisters and 3 brothers check out their original song called Mars done live at Cummins Ga
Tom, Tom, Tom you are just getting warmed up. Do yourself a favor and look at the lyrics for the songs too. Pace yourself dude, #3 here soon. Subbed & liked.
#3 will be coming very soon. Its hard to wait a few days before diving back into these talented sisters
new single incoming 21/5/21 don't #choke
the 3 of them are the sweetest most polite and well mannered girls(young ladies ) there is. But but when they get behind those mics they becomes a whole different beings. Pau becomes an ANIMAL on the drums, Ale a Queen all dignified and the driving force behind the song. But Dany becomes a Demoness/Succubus that just SUCKS your whole being into the song!!!!!
Tom, another group I highly recommend are two superb musicians from Romania, Andrei Cerbu on electric guitar and singer Rockmina doing a cover of Jimi Hendrix's "Voodoo Chile." Andrei is a mind-bending guitar prodigy (he's 19-20 y.o.) and Rockmina has INCREDIBLE power in her vocals. As one who bought the seminal Hendrix albums when they were first released (yes, I'm that old), I don't impress easily. But count me as impressed by these two! You'll find the video at: ua-cam.com/video/6POj_GOpZCA/v-deo.html
Also try Nandi Bushell (UK)
