Sir for religious reasons, I only trade in intra day with delivery, so that I have control over if I want to exit my position at the current price, and I only sell when my stock is slightly above buy price. I make meager gains but they are relatively consistent, and I avoid stress because I know that I don't have to exit positions when there is a loss. I pay more tax and brokerage for intraday because my trades are delivery and I treat profits as a side income. I will most certainly not make big money this way, but it takes some pressure off monthly bills.
The best option left for retail investors is to stop the incremental buying from here on to register our protest for hiking LTCG,STT etc. This will bring the market down & hopefully the Govt will take notice of this overall displeasure /non acceptance of the draconian budget proposals. Earlier times, FIIs used to deploy this technique. Your take on this.

Basant Ji, greeting from Sydney not sure if you read all comments but I have frequently requested some analysis on a really good turnaround group which has provided two blockbuster results - Lloyds Engineering Works & the second is Lloyds Metal. This turnaround started in mid 2021 when the group took back control of their companies and haven't looked back since. I was lucky to have spotted them before the crowd came to know about it and have made more than 50X in one and 150X in the other. Sir trading is like neurosurgeon, which involves more precise and quick decision making which is much harder for normal guys. I hangout with institutional traders who are phd in physics and mathematics which uses different mathematical models for how much to bet and so on. While retails buy on breakout and acts out of emotion.

Real estate मे government stamp duty +Registration +GST ऐसे different different taxes लेनेके बाद भी capital gain नही लेना चाहीए. Capital gain जब हम property sale करेंगे तभी देणा है और every Sale के फिरसे सरकार को stamp duty, gst, registration मिलतेही रहेगा लाईफटाईम तो एक तो capital gain tax लो या stamp duty. मुझे लगता है यह मलटीपल tax system चल रहा है कोई ईसपर कोर्ट जाणा चाहीए

Please give your opinion. Why interest income is taxed accrding to one's slab and not at flat rates. Why interest income is not indexed to inflation when rates are so much dependent on inflation. Although this is futile as indexation is gone now. Why i am paying 30 percent tax on saving account interest income. Why all these years nobody thought about this. neurosurgeon, which involves more precise and quick decision making which is much harder for normal guys. I hangout with institutional traders who are phd in physics and mathematics which uses different mathematical models for how much to bet and so on. While retails buy on breakout and acts out of emotion.
Hello Sir, there were also legendary traders like Jim Simons who made money on most of the trades, he was the first of the few who used algo trades and used machine learning for trading, the manual traders can't make money as the human brain can't comprehend the amount of data patterns we needed to process to make profit for most of the time.
Sir don't you think real estate will become more expensive now as most people will hesitate to sell their homes as indexing benfit has been removed. This in turn reduce the supply of homes in the market push home prices up. Also for those who will sell their home they will have a bigger capital gain than ealier. This also will push home prices up as most people buy another house rather than give tax to government. This will make even affordable houing un affordable. Do you agree with my thesis?

Hello sir I have invested 5 lakhs in 2022 as a trial run, and now it has grown into 7+ lakhs means 40% returns, by investing In ETFs only. Now as a full-time investment strategy, I want to invest 25 lakhs more, and strategy is 70% in ETFs and 20% in Midcaps, and out of remaining 10% , 5% in Smallcaps and 5% in Fundamentally strong Penny stocks. Sir i have compared various situations and compared capital gain on properties under old scheme with indexation and under new scheme without indexation with lesser taxes, as per my working people are end up paying much less taxes under new scheme as compared to old scheme with indexation you can try with open and paper , it seems interesting note this will bring both asset class in some parity except the duration of time period of holding

Real estate मे government stamp duty +Registration +GST ऐसे different different taxes लेनेके बाद भी capital gain नही लेना चाहीए. Capital gain जब हम property sale करेंगे तभी देणा है और every Sale के फिरसे सरकार को stamp duty, gst, registration मिलतेही रहेगा लाईफटाईम तो एक तो capital gain tax लो या stamp duty.
मुझे लगता है यह मलटीपल tax system चल रहा है कोई ईसपर कोर्ट जाणा चाहीए

Why interest income is taxed accrding to one's slab and not at flat rates.
Why interest income is not indexed to inflation when rates are so much dependent on inflation. Although this is futile as indexation is gone now.
Why i am paying 30 percent tax on saving account interest income.
Why all these years nobody thought about this. As per taxation interest income is same as f&o income, pathetic.
