You never know until you're actually there how the differences will add up until you're freezing and miserable! I hope the next time I can visit New York will be like...September to October. I've been to NYC in December and yes it was the wind chill that was the worst, the same as here in the UK - and if we were to let the weather stop us doing things we'd never do anything, so as you say you learn to wrap up and carry on. I think I own more boots than shoes lol.
Hi Thea, great job! I appreciate the compassion your video showed. My wife moved here from Costa Rica and the temperature transition hit her hard. It wasn't until we got conscious of getting her full artic gear that she was able to navigate the streets. Also don't forget the old addage, "when your feet get cold, put on a hat." I EXPERIENCIE -8 celcius (17 farenheit) in february in 2020... i just wanted to die.... i came back to the hotel for the whole day.... its beyond everything i felt before, for a latin american, even a chilean as myself whom have cold winters

Yes! Sometimes I stay inside a place like Walgreens for half an hour to wait out the rain because I don't like getting wet.

The coldest months are usually in Jan and Feb with Nov being mild. But weather was mild all throughout winter this year.
