SilentWolf ended up being the next generation Zhu. Remembered for being blown up, but we shouldn't forget that part of why these things were big deals was because they were capable of blowing up nearly anyone who came up to them

The fox up tilt is frame 4 of sheik bair where the leg extends backwards getting hit by the lingering up tilt hitbox and overriding the bair animation with the hitlag animation. The hitlag animation puts sheik back at her ECB not at where she was hit so it looks like fox's uptilt is much bigger than it actually is.

i tried going frame by frame to see if sheik tried to put out a bair or something but no, that was just fox's uptilt being insane

you're actually right, sheik DID try to bair. The frame that bair would have shifted the hurt box over is the same frame that up tilt was active, ergo instead of animating a frame where you see this, the game decided to just do the math and present the hit stun animation instead. Melee is crazy.

I’m thinking it’s a disjointed hit box as a result of a prior move.
I’ve had a similar issue happen to me last night in USFIV where I got hit with a counter hit and somehow a command grab combo’d into it.

Druggedfox def just threw out a bair, it probably looks weird because he got hit the same frame it started so you can’t ever really see the animation but that kinda stuff happens a ton and gets blamed on the attack more than hurtbox shifting way more than not
