Appreciate the backstory on this. Now I’m really happy I got this for retail. I got the call from my local saying I won the raffle.
I found it at a bar last week and tried it. Definitely really good but not worth more than the $275.
It's great but not GTS or WLW great. The MSRP is probably fair for this 15 year WT expression in 2024.

Well heck. Now I have to try and get this. And that’s gonna be a challenge. Nice to see a third 9 on the channel, since I think this is only the third one. It sounds perfect.
Not something I’ll see or get I’m sure it’s phenomenal but it won’t hit my area and if it does it’ll be a camper option and that’s not me. Should it be 150 if you believe in the 10 per year just corporate greed seems WT are upping all their premium products. Enjoy!!
Not been able to find it. I’m so excited for this release though. I’m a huge Russell’s fan. I originally bought my first Russell’s single barrel years ago just bc it matched my last name, and I fell in love with their product. Love the 13 year and desperately want the 15 year bottle
Great review! I do get a lot of dark fruit on the nose & palate, but everything else about the experience you described is pretty similar. It will be interesting to see how it does in blinds, and up against another two highly anticipated releases - Jack Daniels 14 & Coy Hill ‘24.
I was lucky to pick up a bottle of RR15 about a month ago on a trip to TN. I have not cracked it open yet, but would buy another bottle if I can find it around MSRP. 🥃

when i recorded this, literally week 2 after it came out that was 100% accurate. As always, those prices steadily fall over time. Definitely keep that in mind.
