Have you watched the Family Vlogger internet analysis video by Tiffany? Very valid points she makes about how some family vloggers do some crazy stuff/exploiting their kids to grow their channels. You were the only channel that so many people had sweet things to say about in the comments. You are by far my favourite mama/family to to watch on youtube. Your content is always uplifting and inspiring. Keep up the amazing work Angie! Excited for your book to come out!

I would love to see her comment on this! Her family channel is one of the few I watch because the rest are so exploitative when it comes to how the children are treated. I think Angie is friends (at least online) with one family who I view to be on the more exploitative side (the Stauffers), so I'd love to hear her feelings.

What I love about your channel is that despite our differences in our religious beliefs, we have almost identical beliefs in every other way. I wish people would stop drawing lines between themselves and others, and realize that we are all human, we all have the same desires, fears, hopes, etc and try to learn to work together. Humanity had so many faults, but also so much heart, and we need to stop look at others as “other” and remember we all walk the same earth.

I’m so glad you filter nasty haters on your comments. As one of the people who will talk back and defend you (and all my dear subscriptions, really) it does stress me out a lot to think one of your children will maybe read this rude people and be upset so I will always make sure there is a viewer defending you all. But the best option is to delete them. Your channel is yours, no one should have a pass if they are rude to you here. ❤️

I commented before you started talking about foster parenting. THANK YOU for reminding people that there are other ways to get involved to help kids in foster care. I am a foster parent and I try (through my channel)so hard to get others involved but the excuses/reasons people have to get not involved break my hearts. It is such a huge need and the number of kids in care increases every year. Thank you for speaking about this!!

I totally agree I have a Starbucks in my gym and one time there was a mum and her 4yrs old daughter. The daughter was having a tantrum screaming the whole lot. The mum allowed her to let her feelings out. Then said to her are you still upset ? Can you please listen to me because I'm upset with this situation to. Then she calmly got her daughter to sit down across from and explained calmly what was the problem by mid convo the girl moved from the chair to her mum's lap. This situation just reminded me of how you always say keep your level low xx

I am one of five kids, and what you said about big families, is very true. We are all adults and are all still really close. We take turns at hosting a weekly family dinner. And there is something amazing about knowing if I need help for any reason, I have four people that will drop everything, no questions asked and just be there for me. It is something I consider to be a very special gift our parents gave to us.

Great video!!! Thank you for sharing. We fostered for over seven years and ended up adopting our youngest through it. We never intended to adopt, our children were already teenagers when we started to foster. He was 10 weeks when he joined our home and was 2.5 years old when the adoption was finalized. God definitely had different plans for us than we thought.

Best Q&A EVER!!!! Thanks for being so forthcoming and real. I meant to ask again what church y’all went to in Oregon that you loved so much. I’ve struggled for 5 years to find one I could really get involved with. I’m not looking for perfection (we’re all sinners, but I’ve experienced a lots of spiritual abuse and legalism) just want to find something genuine in a place that loves the Lord and his Word.

How the kids interacts with eachother and with my husband, is just so heartwarming. How they all love each other makes me love them even more.

I've just watched this as I've been following you for a few months and truly adore the love I see within your family. It's such a beautiful thing. Thank you so much for sharing your lives with us.
Referencing your answer regarding the best thing about having a big family I can truly attest to what you said. My partner is 1 of 11 siblings and there is always an auntie/uncle/cousin etc around for our children. (between us we have 6. 2 are ours together and 4 are my step children from my partners previous marriage).
People are so quick to dog on large families but I truly believe that they are such an amazing gift.
When my father in law passed away a few years ago and we were planning the funeral we worked out that he had around 30 grandchildren and approximately 10 great grandchildren. It's a beautiful blessing and one we know he loved each and every day. The adult grandkids all came together to help care for him when he was at the end of his life and I know it brought him so much joy as well as amazing memories for those of us who got to become closer to him at that time.
I'm pretty certain that none of us regret having a family who prays over us and loves us flaws and all.

I stumbled on yours and your family's channel recently and wow. It has been so moving to me. I am currently engaged to by boyfriend of almost 4 years, and I recently turned 21. We are waiting until I graduate college to get married but the topic of children and when has become more of a conversation. I stumbled across Madison Vining on Insta then found your channel on youtube and have been so inspired by the stories of adoption. I feel that God is really placing it on my heart to one day open my family up to adoption where that is international or domestic. Also I'm not sure if you have done it in the past, but I love doing Operation Christmas Child. I love being able to give to children who otherwise would not get anything. I saw a video about one of the volunteers who hands out gifts ended up adopting one of the children who she gave gifts to.

Yay for the foster care mention! There are a lot of ways to support foster parents/foster care. CASA- Court Appointed Special Advocate are volunteers who look out for the child's best interest. The bio parents have a lawyer, the agency/social workers have a lawyer, the child may have a lawyer but the CASA is really looking out for the child. Clothing/supply closets! Children often come with only the clothes they are wearing. Foster care stipends are a reimbursement that comes at least a month later. If you need to buy a wardrobe for a sibling set, it gets expensive quickly. Closets help! If your state has adopted the 'prudent parenting' practice, you can babysit/do respite for a foster parent. Prior, people had to have their background check and maybe even be CPR certified which made it difficult for foster parents to get a break for something as simple as date night. Now, states are giving foster parents the same discretion that they use re their bio children. If I'd leave my son with this person, I can leave the foster child (for limited time). Child care so foster parents can attend training is always welcomed! Organizations like Together We Rise and Comfor Cases put together bicycles for kids and create bags containing toiletries, journals, lovies for kids entering care!

So much yes! I was nodding in agreement this whole video 😂 I'm so loving this new channel, it's similar to your first channel before it became this gathered nest, and the qualities of it are what drew me in! Chatty videos are the best ❤ keep breathing, you're almost done with your book!

So much of what you’ve said is beautiful and so needed... thankful to have someone like you via any medium to speak truth and breath some fresh perspective and life into weary bones with your wisdom. I loved some many things you said and spoken and heard so aptly as i sit here in the beautiful messiness of my home with my 5 kiddos and peanut butter jelly stained toddlers and big kids playing on iPads 🤦🏽‍♀️ while we have some other family circumstances that are hard outside our home.. I needed to hear that #virtualhug so thankful for your and your sweet sisters content and your sister show... in this postpartum season it’s really brought connectivity and wisdom and so thankful 💕❤️🙏🏽🤗

Amen on your pornography question. Thank you. If you catch crap on that topic then you are doing something right. Standing for something will naturally hit nerves.

Absolutely nothing against Elevation (their worship team/music is phenomenal), but it is very refreshing to see a Charlotte family not immediately jump to the aesthetic and hype.

I never knew there was a limit on the number of children you can have in certain states.
Jessica Hoggener is as inspirational as you are, Angela.
I’m looking forward too your book.
Thank~You for sharing all that you do.

Theres not a limit if youre birthing them, but if you adopt it comes into effect just to make sure the conditions are good and healthy.

while I don't 100% agree with you on the topic of pornography, I really appreciate that you explained your position as independent from your faith! So often you see people holding others to the standards of their faith and I love that you never seem to do that. (also your cat in the background was extremely cute i just gotta say)

Oh I totally feel you on the whole "favorite kid" thing! I have had people make comments based upon the fact that my younger son has more photos than my older son, but that is because my older son prefers that I not post a ton of pics of him. He gets final approval over anything I post that has him in it, because I want him to understand that I respect his opinion. My younger child is a total ham, so he will be in front of any camera at any time. :)

I feel very lucky my 1 year old twins sleep through the night in their cribs and have for a long time. People are more often than not shocked to know. It was honestly hard work (for me and DH) since we transitioned gently and carefully but I'm happy and proud of myself, but I totally understand not wanting to. There are a lot of benefits to cosleeping and I think it's way easier. To each their own. Sleep on!
