I can appreciate how much work this was, my daughter and I built a cargo ship out of cardboard in two weeks using what we could beg, borrow or steal on board a cruise ship crossing the Atlantic ocean. It was for a competition and it won. It had to actually float, carry 6 cans of beer and withstand a tsunami (one of the crew jumping into the swimming pool). It had bunting, a boiler, two masts, glazed windows, and a family of frogs playing a game of quoits on the deck.

So cool to see someone doing this. My son has been building cardboard models since he was really young (my favorite was a bucket wheeled excavator). He’s a teen now, and has moved onto mostly using polystyrene. You should check it out if you’ve never used it. Great job!
