Great one Stan! This one, to me, was extra great because it references something in my neighborhood, LOWES. Home Depot may have been first on the scene in CT but LOWES snuck up and things as you have shown are making the decision process that much better. I thank you for what you just brought. We did have a couple Lumber Yards/Hardware Stores that could not be beat falling victim to HD & LW's but you, via UA-cam show us all more up to date new things being done and I (we) appreciate all of your UNBIASED efforts. Big thanks - this one was great! Sonny (CT)

Especially since Lowe's got some dealing place at prevents home Depot from delivering here to our county. If your company is that dang scared of the competition that you're going to block people's rights to shop someplace else you don't need customers.

I’m not really convinced that the lowes in our area really cares. We can get better prices from lowes and home depot in neighboring areas. It just takes extra planning and time. Biggest reason to go with HD right now is text to pay. As a homeowner, business or organization, you can set up your card information and then send your guys to pick up whatever they need and then confirm it over a text and pay for it without the fuss of losing cards, reimbursements, unknowns of what they're purchasing, etc. HD then sends you the receipt to whatever email you have set up.
I don't want to have to take a supervisor off the job to go make a purchase just because he's the only one authorized to use a card, or that I trust.
Also, Lowe's needs Flexvolt and Milwaukee tools like others have stated.

Home Depot has really gone downhill over the years. Customer service is a joke. Doesn’t matter what time of day and multiple locations where I live in Sacramento. They only have 1 checkout counter open and the rest are self checkout. This goes for the Rancho Cordova location, the Natomas location, the Maddison location. I’ve been a huge home depot fan for years because my father went there and lately I’m thinking of switching to Lowe’s.

Looks like Lowe's realized they were missing out on some huge market share because all the pros were going to HD. I'll probably still favor HD though, since they seem to have better pricing and selection. And of course, Milwaukee.

Triple hammer is pretty great. The m18 gen 3 is technically “faster”, but the IP rating is pretty cool, along with the features the triple hammer has. Everyone has a preference, & competition is great, but know for a fact when I got some of my Milwaukee m12 & m18 fuel tools wet.....doesn’t always end very well 🥺
Thx for vid Stan, wouldn’t mind seeing the other Lowe’s Pro Days “tour/demo” if able to make it.
    Cheers✌🏼

Great videos as always.Like the Metabo (aka Mikita) under drill test cool.Really how many guys are actually going to place there drill in water and run it? NOT HAPPEN. I did like the multi-volt that is great and has the ability to plug in and save battery neat trick will not take long for all the rest to get on board with it.

Lowe's also gives "real" discounts to us veterans. Register once and you don't necessarily have to carry proof of service each time. Although last time I was in, there was no way to discount using self serve. Don't know if that's changed.

This must be a very exclusive event because there's nearly no one there whatsoever. I do like going to Lowe's though because there's hardly ever anyone in the store. When I do need something I want to last though I go to home depot and get real tools like Milwaukee.

Problem with Lowe’s is they sell most things for a higher price than some of your more specific fastener /tool shops. Usually framing nailers are 15% or more cheaper and you can get deals when you buy nails in bulk. Like a paslode framing nailer for 200$ Canadian if you buy 20 box’s of nails @ 10.50$/1000 nails Where as lowers sells the nailers for 419$ Canadian with no deals. And the nails at 9.99$/ 1000 nails. Just an example

    • @nateg5887

Andrew van Zy There is a level on the back of some drills, when drilling a hole if you keep the little bubble in the Inner Circle your drill will stay level

I used to have an older cordless Craftsman consumer grade drill that had one right on top. I hated the safety buttons you had to push before pulling the trigger. It actually caused me to almost drop the tool at times. They said it was due to being a consumer grade product. Tiny holes and a little wire fixed that.
