Zabrena, thank you for the tutorials, which are my favorite part of your videos. What I like the most is that I can take the look that you create and recreate it with a different brands palettes. I recently bought the Juvia's Place Tribe palette and had no idea how I was going to create a look with a green eye shadow, but now I have an example, so thank you for that.

I barely EVER buy palettes online. Like once a year MAYBE and they're always on the inexpensive side. I was on the HUNT for a green eyeshadow palette. It's all I wanted in this life. I will wear green eyeshadow until I die. Bury me or burn me while I'm wearing it.
Someone tagged me in a HUDA ad on FB for the Emerald Obsessions palette and I responded with I don't support HUDA Beauty and it was out of my price range. And then ColourPop released Just My Luck and I never bought anything online so fast.
I wear Just My Luck every day I wear makeup. Also my friend gifted me makeup out of the blue and inside the box was a Just My Luck palette. So I have 2 now. I'm so happy.

Propertyrus 2 I know you want Zabrena’s recommendations, but try the It Cosmetics Matte CC Creme. It is very good for both oily and dry skin. It comes in several shades. I really love it for summer. Plus it has 50 SPF.🤗
Zabrena also recommended the Covergirl BB Cream, which I tried. It looks and wears fantastic on me. It can pull more than 7 hours no problem.

@@tmdsb2655 can't remember if that one's good for oily skin. I'll do a littleresearch. I use the L'Oreal one (comes out white from the tube) and I really like it. But doesn't have spf😕. Thank you

For anyone in Canada or Europe there is "Beauty Glazed" or other contries. From Germany: Cheap, awesome, & good quailty!!! Shipping took abit but I live in Canada that's par for the course. Do all the dupes for 9 pan Huda(?) colours. 😎💗😜 If it helps anyone.

It's My Pleasure is so interesting to me because I am also a purple lover, and on me, every shade in the palette pulls more purple or mauve than pink except for Fan Fiction! Then I've seen people use it online, and it seems like it pulls pink on so many people--I think especially on light, cool-toned skin. I was shocked at how lavender Kittenfish was when I got my palette because in tutorials and photos I'd seen online it looked like a light pink. I think that shade is so pretty as a simple one shadow look all over the lid. Perfect for spring especially!

My fave true purple palette is the Kat Von D Plum quad, so it's great to mix with It's My Pleasure and then you get a real purple look without the pinks 😀

Could you please review the Huda Beauty Melted Shadows collection with swatches/comparisons/dupes? I really want to try them but they are $39.00 AUD EACH and are way outside my budget!
I really trust your judgement and your reviews and tutorials never steer me wrong! I have hooded eyes so I really want to know if they crease or transfer, and if there are any inexpensive alternatives (I never see matte liquid shadow so I'm super curious! I have a feeling the shimmer sides will be easier to find).

You can purchase some of the shades in the It's My Pleasure palette as singles. I did that with Earthshine and Mr. Sandman as those were the two shades in that palette I wanted the most. You should check out the Brown Sugar & Good Sport palettes, which is also awesome.

You could pick up both of the Colourpop
pallets for less than the price of one Huda pallet. I love Huda and her pallets. However, in this case, I feel that the Colourpop ones are a no brainer.

I already own the 'Its my Pleasure' palette, and I COMPLETELY agree with you about the pinky purples! I do wish that the colors leaned more cooler toward the cooler end, more blueish purple! I sometimes react to makeup but I haven’t had any problems with colourpop shadows. Everyone’s different tho so who knows.

Hi Zabrena! Love your reviews, by far my favorite!! I recently tried Technic Cosmetics Enticing, Mesmerizing and Hypnotise palettes, which are supposed to be dupes of Huda's obsession palettes. They are incredibly affordable (much more than Colorpop's) and I loved their color pay off!

You’re gorgeous dah-ling! My guess is that cooler purples are more difficult to get right and are more prone to patchiness. And we know how hard CP tries to keep their shadow quality consistent. I already have the JML palette and the Emerald Obsessions and I love them both! I also have the Amethyst one. It’s my Pleasure is on the way and so is their new “Main Squeeze” can’t wait!
Love the looks you created, they're stunning. The green especially goes with your hair. Bright colours really don't look good on me at all, I tend to look a bit like a parrot 🐦 lol. I have Colourpop palettes in Fame and Dream St which I love and wear a lot. I much prefer Colourpop to Huda. I gave my Topaze Obsessions away as it stained my eyelids. Looking forward to the CT dupes video already 💖.
Hi there Gorgeous! These palettes are so pretty. I have them on my Wishlist, along with a few other ColourPop palettes and liners I’m a bit fan of ColourPop. I just wish they’d slow down a tiny bit. I can’t keep up with them 🤣 I guess it’s good because I’m not buying as much. I keep waiting to see what’s next because I might want it more than the releases this week.

I agree about the purple pallet being too warm. I have NO idea why colourpop can't mix it up and make a few pallets that are more cool toned! Anything warm toned makes me loo either dirty....or sick. I'm not going for either of those looks, so it's hard to find pallets that suit me! Same with ColourPop pressed shadows you can buy separately- they are overwhelmingly warm toned.

If you want a true purple palette or blue based purple, try the Ultraviolet palette by Bobbi Brown. It's not pink at all & you can go quite smokey with it. I always end up mixing & matching from all my purples in all my palettes when I do purple looks. Just depends on what kind of purple I'm going for that day :) Same with green, I have so many now.
I found the formula in those Huda Obsession mini palettes to be very inconsistent. I loved the concept & color curation, but they're not my favorite eyeshadows to work with.

I really like delayed reviews! Especially if the reviewer has some experience wearing the product. There are too many good eye shadow products on the market for us to run out and buy everything right away. But every now and then, I like to look back on what's been out for awhile and see what was actually worth buying. I've had my eye on these palettes. So thank you for this video! 🙂
Maybe the new Morphe palette will have good, cool purples. I find that purple is rarely purple in the way I’d like it to be where eyeshadow is concerned. That said, I probably should not be wearing it anymore, anyway. Maybe just around the house?

I am late to the game as well on Colour pop I just bought my first four eyeshadow palettes from them. The Green the purple they have a melon one out and the pink one. For 12.00 a piece and after seeing the swatches and reviews I caved. Your eye looks were gorgeous so thank you.
I just saw these on Colourpop's insta the other day and I'm so excited. I'm a bit disappointed that "it's my pleasure" is still mostly a Pink/warm "purple" pallet, but "just my luck" looks amazing. I'm so happy they have Colourpop at Ulta now.

I bought the two pallets ages ago too and have similar feelings about them. I'm obsessed with the green pallet especially the mint color. The purple pallet was a little disappointing considering how bubblegum pink so many of the shades look on my eyes. I too have red hair and pink eyeshadow isn't always the most flattering on me. It's a shame because green and purple look so good with my green eyes but that purple pallet just wasn't purple enough. Also I noticed a bit (a lot) of fallout when I used the only truly purple shade in the pallet making it the most difficult shade of the two pallets to work with. That's ok though as long as I know what to expect in the future. These were my first order from the brand and I have to say that although I wasn't thrilled with the colors in one pallet, I was thrilled with the quality and will be ordering from them again in the future. But maybe next time I'll be a little more thoughtful about the actual colors in the pallet and not just assume that purple is going to be more cool toned purple lol
I got the colorpop Just My Luck palette several months ago. I hesitated to get it because women my age don't use bright colors as a general rule. ( late 50's) I really like it so I am going to try to use it more based on your tutorial. Thank you for the ideas. By the way you are a stunningly beautiful young lady.
I love Colourpop. I have the just my luck palette and love it. Like you said, greens are rare and that’s why I’ve spent a fortune on Melt’s green palettes.
