This is such a pretty look and you always do some of my favorite Colourpop videos! As a consumer, I was honestly a little disappointed after seeing the CP swatch party for this because I feel like too many of the shades pull pink vs true purple like I was hoping for. Wish they would've done more mattes as well (I do understand that purple is often a tricky color to formulate at all though). I still feel that they play it a bit too safe and repetitive with a lot of their releases. A wider range of purple shades and finishes would have made this a must-buy for me for sure. Hoping a green palette is next!
Hahaha, I just basically wrote the same thing. I'm hoping the green palette does better. My hunt for a monochromatic purple themed palette continues. And no, I don't want Huda's Purple Gem stone palette. The Viseart 9 pan palette is definitely intriguing, with those deeper grungy purples. Do you like that one?
Kat luvs Babes in Toyland I haven't tried any of the Viseart ones yet! My wallet reeeeaaaally would like me to hold on for a more affordable option haha. So many so-called colorful palette releases have let me down recently (too many repetitive neutrals thrown in or iffy formulas) 😩 I feel the same about not wanting to get any of the Huda ones!
That's exactly how I feel. That's why I didn't buy this palette. That was really a letdown to me, that they went with an 80%-pink palette, and only 2 truly purple shades. If they struggled to formulate enough purple shades and had to give up and just make most of them pink, then don't call this a "purples palette," y'know?
@@dx4618 Yes D I couldn't agree more. Truth be told, I did end up getting the CP Its my Pleasure palette for those shimmer's and lilacs. It also helps that its budget friendly. Truth be told, its a cute little palette and I've found ways to incorporate more purples from my singles collection. The pinks don't get touched. Lol
@@anneotherday I'm with you on budget friendly palettes Anne. I'm on a low buy since Jan and have only spent $14 bucks on three Bad Habit palette's from Shop Hush. Their were having a 60% off sake cuz their closing down their website. I'm pretty proud of myself cuz I stayed on my low buy. 💰😀

i'm so glad they dropped this pallet cause i've been mixing my purples & nudes in my crease (cause i only own violet colors & no purple transitions) then using the lavender highlighter from the abh aurora palette to get a purple look

Turned out beautiful. I’ve seen this pallette recently and think I’ll get it bc I’ve been eyeing the huda purple and green obsessions palettes but this would be similar for a lot cheaper. Now if colourpop just comes out with different colors of this palette that would be awesome 👏

I think it's cooler when creators just give us the basics of what type of color or type of undertone whatever they're using has instead of just always trying to sell us exactly the same product. Don't even care if they were limited edition because I'm just gonna use what I have in my collection anyway.
