I’ve always wondered what are those paint cans on your cd rack?
Been enjoying these GNR videos. Did you ever end up buying any of the Use Your Illusion re releases? (The 2 disc version and the box set)
What is your opinion on Chinese Democracy?
The paint cans are Metallica Fan Cans sold only to fan club members featuring demos, live recordings, memorabilia, t-shirts, and more. As for GNR, yes I’m a mega-fan so I love Chinese Democracy too and I did buy the Use Your Illusions reissues but opted to skip the boxset. Not enough value in it for me for what it costs.

Yes I’ve enjoyed the Rapid Fire album. As for the guitar, highly unlikely that I’ll be playing on the channel. Separation of church and state and all.

You made out like a bandit with the Rapidfire CD. It's extremely rare and valuable. I've been chasing that one for years, but it never comes up for sale anywhere and when it does, its always too rich for my blood.

I had a friend who owned 3 Live Like A Suicide records. Back in 1990's my mate would pay $60 for bootlegs. He has signed plague thing. He had a whole of of Guns N Roses. One thing we both owned was the official Japan E.P I regret getting rid of it. It had 6 tracks. My mate gave all his collection to his younger brother who sold it for having a good time.
I have the E.P. too. Lots of great unreleased live tracks. That was the first way that I had Shadow Of Your Love. Glad it has a wider release now on the Appetite reissue.

Unwanted Illusions is what it says. They were just demos mostly that just didn't make the UYI albums. I remember reading about some songs in the interim between Lies and UYI. They used to be found on UA-cam.

Im trying to rebuild my collection after losing so much due to a flood back in '14 and I'm limited due to being handicap I can't afford much but music especially 80's music is what helped me through some hard times and I mostly had cassette tapes and CDs but nowadays im seeing a lot of cds coming in slips and I guess it's not a big deal but it feels a little weird but does Amazon mainly have those? I see some great prices on Amazon and im just curious? I found a few great deals on ebay surprisingly but all common stuff. Any other places you or anyone know for music? I can't get out due to my handicap so online is my only option. I mainly want 80's metal! Glam years! Maybe ebay is my best option for used music because that's the only way I can get several at a time. Again Amazon has good prices but if I have certain cds in the jewel cases I kinda want the others especially if im getting the 80's Metallica or Motley Crue. It looks better if they are the same. Im also looking at these cheap deals on Dokken White Lion Ratt and Motley Crue in those sets and some are like $20! That's a good deal?? It's just the 80's stuff but that's what I want.
For me personally I shop online at Amazon. They have everything and sell the same releases that are in record stores. It doesn’t differ. For out of print items I go to eBay. Then after that I might go to a niche label for a specific type of music. But I don’t order from other online record stores because in most cases the prices are considerably higher than Amazon. Hope this helps.
