Exactly. I skipped DOTS entirely after a couple of episodes because I didn't vibe with it at all and the main leads lacked electricity in my opinion. However, despite Vincenzo being a thriller, I feel that there is a lot of spark b/w SJK and JYB. SJK's acting too is more convincing to me, he is doing an amazing job and I don't care about his past.

I stumble into this because I've been watching Vincenzo stuff lately and I can remember when the news broke out. Some people pointing the finger to Song Joong Ki and some to Song Hye Kyo. They say things without proof and all about assumptions and bash both actors. Then I realized who are we to assume how they separated or know what they really felt for each other. How could we say they didn't love each other, we don't have the right to that. Even if they are public figures and their relationship is also very public, we can't demand that much for them. That's basic human respect and nothing to do with them being famous actors. I hope they are recovering now and I wish both of them happiness in life 💗
Why give up so easily?
Why don't you two take a break from the entertainment world, go somewhere you two can be alone together then sort things out? No marriage is easy, but if you two really love each other, you'd find the way through hard times. SJK has become a more sensitive actor after his divorce because he can extract so much deep emotions in scenes involving unbearable pain like in VINCENZO with their bonding at the park while his mom was sitting on a wheelchair and at the morgue looking down on the dead body of the mother...sad experiences makes acting so real and poignant.kudos to great acting in VINCENZO ..

He’s been a great actor long before Vincenzo. He was more charming than the male lead in Sungkyunkwan Scandal. He was amazing in his cameo in Tree with Deep Roots (so sad very few people have seen this but it’s honestly one of his best). His acting in Innocent Man and Werewolf Boy(he acts like a dog here) he was so good. Dont say he’s not popular before DOTS, he even has crazy shippers from his Innocent Man drama that it really annoys me (since I prefer the other dramas of the lead actress there). Even when he was getting divorced, Arthdal was airing (so sad very few people watched this drama). He has more dramas than just DOTS or Vincenzo.
1:29 he recovered very fastly from his woundss and even married another person and had child..🥴such a handsome jerk..

I don't know why but I always found something off about Song Hye Kyo. I feel like she hides something. So I couldn't finish the drama descendants of the sun. After the divorce news I wasn't suprised at all I saw this coming. It wouldn't be right to blame Song Hye Kyo for the divorce because I think the main reason for their break up was their different personalities. But I just have this feeling that behind the beautiful Song Hye Kyo there is a different persona. But Song Joong Ki looks much happier know. Especially in Vincenzo he shined so much

I saw their acceptance speech as well and noticed his warmth and sincerity. I also noticed she lacked warmth. There was a coldness to her. He seemed much more authentic and tenderhearted than she. We never know what their childhood was like and what they might have gone through to form their real character. Also, you never really know someone until you marry them and see what's really there. I was so sad to know they divorced and I wish them both the very best. It was their marriage. Divorce is so painful. I'm sure they didn't come to that decision lightly. God bless them both.

My family totally in a mess and in a great pain because of that marriage and after they got divorced. My family in a peace again and slowly recovery from the pain. I know what happened between them is personal, but understanding such a quick split leaves questions. Sounds like they have been split since sept 2018. Married together one year. Personality differences is weak reason. They did date for a while so these differences didn’t crop up all of a sudden. Also it has been written that he has been living with a friend. He definitely could have had his own place somewhere. I think there is something odd behind this and it will probably come out some day. I have been married for many years and it takes work and compromise. The common thread is your love and commitment to each other. Very disappointed to see this happen so quick. There is expectation and reality in everything. In their case I believe the succes of their drama and the good chamestry they had on sreen may have hidden their differences and when they started to live together it is when they realy start to know each other and find out that they weren't a match after all.
