    If I replace the word "fast" by "rate".
    Do you think the defination will be more generalize ?
    Frequency: the rate by which signal is changing.
    Slow Rate: Low Frequency
    High Rate: High Frequency

    • @Kuchdelan
      @Kuchdelan  6 років тому +1

      I can see your logic and it is interesting but I still like fast over rate. My definition is not technically 100% correct as I said it in the video. It just helps me connect to the frequency concept. If you prefer rate, why not my friend ;)

    If frequency increases in SHM, so does the acceleration. But does it make sense that high frequencies impose such a high acceleration? How do you account for this biased acceleration given by high frequencies. For instance, for SHM, a=( 2*pi*f)^2. How do you account for the fact that lower frequencies have more detrimental effects that high frequencies?

    • @Kuchdelan
      @Kuchdelan  2 роки тому

      My explanation was simplified to make it understandable for beginners. As I mentioned in the lecture, my definition is not 100% technically correct but it really helped to wrap your head around many concepts in signal processing.

  • @roziyanhidayat261
    @roziyanhidayat261 7 років тому +1

    Recently learned this lesson on my class, and this video is help me to strengthen my fundamental knowledge of signal processing. could you explain the difference between two math arguments of fundamental of frequency in discrete time, in example if i have fundamental frequency in y1[n] = cos [2*phi*(30/60)n] and y2[n]=cos[2*phi*(31/60)n]. thank you Iman

    • @Kuchdelan
      @Kuchdelan  7 років тому

      Hey Pak. Thank you very much for your feedback. I am not sure If I get the question, could you please rephrase it?

    • @roziyanhidayat261
      @roziyanhidayat261 7 років тому +1

      In discrete time domain signal
      If I have
      sin(2πF0n) with F0 = 1/16
      Fundamental Period is 16
      If I have
      sin(2πF0n) with F0 = 3/16
      Fundamental Period is still 16
      so what is the different between the first signal and the latter?

    • @Kuchdelan
      @Kuchdelan  7 років тому

      Thanks for rephrasing the question. Yes, the fundamental period for both signals is 16. The thing is in the discrete domain 16/3 has no meaning. Sampling time (n) is an integer. We can say first sample, second sample, and so on. We can't say 16/3 sample. That's why the periodic pattern is observed every 16 sample. Hope this helps.

      Hey my friend. I use Photoshop for drawing, Movavi Suite for capturing my screen and simple video editing, and finally Audacity for sound recording & editing. In terms of hardware, I use Huion drawing tablet and Blue Yeti mic. Hope this helps!

    excellent explanation - at 8.02 to 8.08 - when putting the Baby frequency , it is not spreading from origin to both side along X axis - as suggested by high frequency , why it is plotted as a bar type graph only 2 side of x axis - It will be starting from origin and spreading across both side - refer 2.30 -2.49 / can you please explain
