I feel like your video's must be aliasing because there's no way a 16 minute video on signals processing actually felt more like an 8 minute video on it... Or maybe it's just harmonics. Either way great explanation, the wheel idea is a brilliant way at quantitively explaining it.
Glad it helped. And this is another video I made on the topic, with more real-world "visuals": "How to Understand Aliasing in Digital Sampling" ua-cam.com/video/y7UOQ_aF9C0/v-deo.html
I've got a video that shows the spatial aliasing, although I didn't describe it with that term, so you might like to watch: "How does Antenna Spacing affect Beamforming?" ua-cam.com/video/amepyf9-E1w/v-deo.html
Thanks for taking the time out of your day to explain these so well to people :)
My pleasure! Glad you are finding the videos helpful.
This explanation is so precious, thank you very much
Glad you liked it!

Thanks. I love your comment 🤣 I'm going to use that if anyone ever tries to tell me signal processing is boring.
I knew the math behind it and also knew practical effects of aliasing but wasn't quite sure how they were connected. This helped. Thanks!

Not what I was looking for, but I found it very interesting and I’m watching anyway
Thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it anyway!
actually it's not your eye that has the lowpass filter. It's a structure of your thalamus called the lateral geniculate nucleus (LGN)
Thank you sir. This whole video series was very helpful for me to understand the concept of sampling
Glad to hear that
Excellent explanation
Glad it was helpful!
Good Job Iain, I was able to understand this
Thanks. I'm glad you found it helpful.
Can you make a video on Spatial Aliasing in Uniform Linear Array?
I've got a video that shows the spatial aliasing, although I didn't describe it with that term, so you might like to watch: "How does Antenna Spacing affect Beamforming?" ua-cam.com/video/amepyf9-E1w/v-deo.html
Thank you, that helped me in my studies!
Glad it helped!
Good Video! :)
I want to understand the relationship between fourier series and the
Mccularin series
whether you learn it and understand it fully or not will be a measure of how badly you wanted it
nice watched it 2 times didnt get it

great video! thanks!!!
Glad you liked it!
does this mean our brain processes image in discrete frames and not a continuous pattern?
Our brains don't necessarily process images in discrete frames, but we do have a limited processing rate (as everything does).
you lost me at the pizza
