That turquoise dress pops so much on the thumbnail. Great edited video also. Loved watching it. Lots of must haves I didn't even know existed!!!! Awesome
Hey Premila! Thanks for the comment 😄 It seems like so many people do love this video, so I will be sure to make a Part 2 and your video idea of upgrades not worth your money is a fantastic suggestion too - I have added it to my list of videos to film 🏠 ✨
New sub here! Would love to see each item with a header text attached. I often take screenshots to help me remember, rather than having to keep pausing the video (which really disrupts the flow).
Good suggestions but the free standing bathtub is a hazard for anyone who is a bit unsteady on their feet, especially if wet. Very dangerous getting in an out. His and her sinks are too small in this house, even if there are separate vanities. Also, in a luxury home I would always go with a double entry door. Single doors look skimpy no matter how high or wide they are. Fully integrated appliances have been common in Europe for 30 years, nothing special. A luxury home should have a mandatory sink in the WC and also a bidet or his and her WC. It's not a matter of luxury but basic class and hygiene.
Hey Tee! Great question 😄 Yes, it usually costs more since it requires more materials. With the builder I work for it’s only about $750; so not an expensive upgrade.
In a humid environment, steel frame construction will be a nightmare. You can get condensation on the steel frame, and last thing you want is hidden water in your wall causing mold growth, rotting of any wood sheathing, and oxidation of the frame.
The cost of steel frames varies between builders, but McDonald Jones Homes has a full steel frame as standard. This means it’s far more affordable that others 🎉🎉 Plus it’s a Supaloc Steel Frame, so much smarter than other systems too 💪💪
Interesting thst these are called luxury. I reckon i ticked off about 10 of these and we are definitely not building a dream home. Well.....I didn't think it was, but gey happy to call it that 😂🤣😂
That first tip is great for wheelchair users like myself
Beautiful home and great recommendations. Thanks!

What is the colour code of wall?

Does it cost more to change the roof pitch?
Hey Tee! Great question 😄
Yes, it usually costs more since it requires more materials. With the builder I work for it’s only about $750; so not an expensive upgrade.
The steeper the pitch the longer it takes to sheet it becuase moving around is harder.

☝️🤪,,HEATED FLOORS have a limited life span,, how do you repair or replace the system?
It is just a bunch of pex piping. Won’t need replacing in this lifetime..,
This video was ruined by the metric system.
With the start of the video, I thought the first "Dream Home" things you must have was going to be a gold digger wife
I think we should stop calling them "his" and "hers." It's making LGBT folks feel excluded. "Yours" and "Mine" or maybe "Yours" and "Theirs."
Your delusional, your obviously going to feel excluded if your a minority... Everyone deals with it in some capacity throughout their lives.
That's a really good point! Same deal with the "master" bedroom (which seems to be referred to more commonly as "main" or "premier")
His and Hers are the correct terms to use. Your comment is making me feel excluded, and is forcing your religious views on me.
