- The Stone Barns team decided to start using ducks to bring life back to the pasture soil surrounding the farm. They designed and built mobile shelters to keep the waterfowl healthy, protect them and guide them across the grasslands.
Guys! This is TOO cool for skool. Those duck huts are brilliant and the pastures look So. Good. You all should be so proud!
Really nice! Would love to see more videos of these duck huts.
Good to see your video! I just started raising my first ducks this spring. Only 6 ducks on half an acre.
So many ducks in one enclosure? Do they ever get to swim and wash?
Just visited, but wasn't able to see it all! Including the ducks. Any chance you guys have plans or more detailed shots of the wheel mechanisms, and other details of these quansets?
I have to admit that it's a creative way to deal with a problem.
Sir, you are my hero
Do you guys use supplementary feed? Or are they 100% pasture fed?
Interested because I am starting to do the same in the UK, the land has rich diversity of plant and insects with access to a slowing stream so would be perfect but am unsure whether it is necessary to supplement their diets with additional food?
You had me at "duck hut" 😊
Inspiring! I wonder if a slightly smaller version of this is possible
Do you have no water for them to wash themselves in?
Glory to the ducks!
Where can I order this greenhouse kit?
can we get more pasture ducks?
What breeds do you raise for meat?
