Helping others really is the best medicine for bad times💗❤️. They are the BEST group and men! The only thing that is crushing my heart is that Alma isn't doing well. Danny and Joe already lost their moms, Marlene looks and seems great, but dear Alma is slowly declining. Many thoughts and prayers for her and the Wahlberg clan. Watching Alma on Wahlbergers eating fries and her infectious laugh, and meeting the Blockheads, and the way she loves dogs made me love her even more. Jordan will always be the best to me, the vocal range and the dance moves were everything. Imagine being dressed in all that and having to do dance moves and sing at the same time. Wow. My old self would be out of breath and sweating profusely 💯.
I went to see them live in 1991 at the Assembly Hall in Champaign, Illinois. I had front row seats and backstage passes. I had the honor of meeting Danny Wood. I loved him then and still do. I'm forever a Danny Wood girl ❤❤

People need to realize that back then, boybands weren't a thing. The term didn't even exist. This was before shows like American Idol and the Kpop boyband, girl group factories of today. Back then, Heavy metal groups like Guns n Roses, Bon Jovi and Poison dominated the charts, and all of a sudden five teens from Boston who sing and dance take over. We were so curious about them... Where did they come from? How did they become a group? Who taught them to sing and dance? It was a pretty fun time.
Don't forget we had New Edition and the Jackson 5, but I get what you are saying. There weren't very many boy bands back then!! And it was a fun time!!!
