You have just listened to the singing voice of an angel, that is why you feel the warmth and comfort, her voice is soothing, sweet and delicate, but she has also the power, as you heard her hitting those high belting notes with full, rounded and rich voice, pleasant to the ears and not thinning, shrilly or strained. All these because she has mastered the right techniques, and she has the ability to add her signature squeaks and growls, plus her incredible breath control -- that was a 14-seconds long belting she did right after that mind-blowing whistle notes. I like to say that Mori inhabits a song like no other. She is the queen of vocal breaks(cries, squeaks, growls, and whistles). imho, you've just witnessed the best female vocalist on the planet. When she covers a song, her version becomes the standard. For pop diva try "Fly Like a Bird, for Broadway try "Defying Gravity", for soft rock try "I Wanna Know What Love Is". Just a few of her excellent renditions.
You know that feeling when you find a new incredible artist and you think to yourself "wow, this is insane, this is my new favourite artists of all time"? I've had that feeling with Mori since I first heard this performance maybe three years ago and it just seems to solidify with every new unreal performance. I just have never seem any singer be a full package like her; her technique is perfect, beautiful/rich/warm low notes, super strong belting high notes, but most importantly she is the best performer I've ever seen in terms of immersion and sense for what is important, she really is a genius in the way she understands music. She is a genuine person and it makes all the difference.

My first Mori reaction was „Never enough“, but the best moment is the expression on everyone‘s face when she goes from the „Giliw“-belt after the second chorus directly into her whistle-run without any interruption. Only comparable to Mitch Grassi starting singing in PTX‘s „Hallelujah“ - btw, also after the second chorus!

I enjoyed your reaction. This performance was 5 years ago. This along with her cover of Rise Up is where it all started for Mori. Her fans love those songs but right now she is an infinitely better singer and performer. She may already be the best live performer on the planet but I predict she will go down in history as one of the top 3 best vocalists of all time. You are also assuming correctly, she is a beautiful person inside and out.
But you realized that the video has subtitles! 😂 But it‘s true: when watching Mori singing, you do not need to understand the lyrics to get the message and the emotions!

FTR, I am a retired, professional music critic, with 45+ years experience. Nothing has changed my thoughts, on what my uncle told me - the Philippines did and still does have more talent than any other country. Here is an elite, Apex level, international caliber, singer right here. Morissette Amon is one of the top 10 to 12 Pop singers of all time. I saw Whitney, Celine, Mariah, live, in their Apex level singing eras - Morissette is their class.

For those who don't like ballads, keep watching Morissette, because she is not a singer who can be confined into any single genre. Pop, r&b, musical theatre, rock, even country, you name it, she can sing everything.
To be honest, the only genre in which she didn't completely convince me is hard rock (and I’ve never seen her try to sing metal)
look up her rock medleys, she sings a few. Amazing. One for Mitsubishi Motors new car show and another where she even hits Steve Tyler's high note in Dream on.

Look, if I had to choose, i would choose Mori over Mariah Carey and over Beyoncé, I would even choose her over Aretha Franklin, but I don't think that hard rock and metal are really suitable for her. It’s not about vocal quality. There is a video in which Carrie Underwood and Joan Jett sing together a rock song: Carrie is definitely a better singer but she doesn't hold a candle to Joan as a rock singer

Her talent is only out done by her humility. She is the most giving and humble. At her concerts she walks out in audience and, as she sings....never leaves anyone without a selfie. So down to earth. She performs the lyrics, not only sings them.....pulling you into the song. Morissette is awesome. I have been following Filipino singers since I discovered Charice back when she was David Foster and Friends. You should also review Jona (especially "Over the Rainbow"), Klarisse DeGuzman, Katrina Velarde, their mentor Regine Velasquez, and the legendary Lea Salonga (her "On My Own" from the Les Mis 10th Anniversary Concert will make you cry). Also, Sohyang from Korea is probably in a league of her own (especially on "Bridge Over Trouble Water").

Morissette is the best there is! The more of her you watch, the more you will be impressed. You are quite right that she is the nicest, sweetest, and most humble person as well. Reactors are always tempterd to react to the Morissette - Marcelito duet of Secret Love Song which is understandable. However, Morissette's solo version of Secret Love Song on the WIsh Bus is the most viewed video on the Wish Bus by any artist at over 206 million views and is way better than the duet with Marcelito.

It just started as a finalist song in Himig Handog, and then used as the main theme of the teleserye "Pasion De Amor" last 2014. This song became popular in the world, i remember when singers in other countries sang this song.
