Lot of memories here, I am glad to see enough interest in the muscle car era to keep them alive and running. Also appreciate the good quality of the video.
I couldn't help but notice the 62 Plymouth around he 3:21 mark as I bought and old beaten 440 powered street car CHEAP with a 3.91 gear and turned it into a bracket car. I loved that car & body style! I had mine painted 1969 Ford 'pure white'
im actually looking for me in the 69 and on shots. i was from the Chrysler engine lab and walked around offering tuning help to racers. i loved those days.
smilsmff that’s not super stock or is this video because they won’t show true mopar s/s from the dealer they ran low 9s bone stock off the dealer floor from 67 till 70 that’s why they dominated this class back then that’s why ford and chevy banned the hemi in nascar and the nhra

This was done the way it should be done, back off and show both times.Thank you !
I was pleased to see some cars designated Super Stock actually turning times that were seen in the 1960s for this class, good to see a honest run off.

What classifies 'stock' class ? Stock body only ?
Why does it say 11.70 on the board? Is the winner who comes closest to that?👍
The 11.70 is that classes index. During Class Eliminations they are heads up and can run as fast as they can.
Nothing from Detroit dragway?
was everybody red lighting ?
only changes for Stock class I would like to see is Porting the Intake Ports, ,Aftermarket Carb (Keep the CFM), Intake after market dual planes
