Great tutorial and review of the new foodsaver Alexis! I have the model before this one and I absolutely LOVE it!!! Pays for itself in no time...no more freezer burnt meat!
Great tutorial Alexis! I really like that model, I have a different brand that doesn't hold the rolls like that, but I use it often. I have the FoodSaver hand pump for those bags with the hole. It's like a bike pump LOL but it works great too! My vac seal does have that pump attachment thought too. And once again, always learning from you!
It’s only worth the time if your have a large freezer - and do lots of meat you want to freeze …that’s how I use it and to compress fruits or marinade meats a la minute… besides those things - that’s the only reason to purchase it.
I wish I had space for another gadget but until I have a bigger kitchen I'll just have to have kitchen envy Alex haha. Every time I used a vacum pack I loved it, something about it triggers the inner child in me, I also love breaking the seal of say a packet of risotto rice, just a prick with the tip of a knife and listen as the air rushes into the pouch (I know I'm weird) I have to say that your video making is fantastic mate, I see you're getting some pretty decent views so keep at it my friend.
Hi chef- thanks - I don’t have many kitchen machines- but I’ve been wanting to get one of these and I’ve been using the water displacement method for ever at home- and I love this when I pack large amounts of meat. No need for kitchen envy the kitchen is not always better on the other side.
What an awesome looking machine Chef Alexis and for the price a bargain too because I'm sure one would end up saving so much more in the long run, especially if buying in bulk and freezing.
Fantastic demo! I've always been curious about one of these... we don't buy big bulk protein, but there are more than one uses I could think of for a FoodSaver. Thanks so much!
We actually have that same one and I love ours. I use it for meat but I also use it for soups. I love mine. My mother in law just got one and loves hers too. She lives by herself so she always had leftovers or basically anytime she buys meat because it’s just her she freezes the other portions of it. Great review of this.
I don’t like having lots of machines in the kitchen, I like my counter tops with nothing on them but this machine though in a cabinet- really does all my proteins really well. Happy Fall!
I’ve actually always wanted one of these! We have an industrial plastic wrap dispenser that we’re running through right now but I’d get this once we run out. - Theresa & Cam
This is a great review! I don’t have one of these, I’ve thought about getting one but just haven’t pulled the trigger haha It’s a very cool product and definitely adds longer life to your freezer foods. Awesome job explaining it all!
I am very conscious of spending money on machines unless I use them all the time. Since I have always purchased bulk proteins and use the water displacement method....I decided to get this one...and I am really happy that I did. I only use it for sous vide and for meats.
I really k my use it to freeze meats and to sous vide- so when chicken or beef is on sale- we use the machine- also we have a huge freezer as well to store items.
Always awesome to see a new video from you! We've never seen this item before so we really appreciate all of the details you included about how to use it. Nice work Chef Alexis! Great to see you and your channel doing so well!
Thank you for the tutorial. Very helpful. Clear and to the point. Thanks for showing exactly how to do it. Btw I can see that you have been working hard at the gym!!!
@@TheOtherSideOfTheStove I enjoyed it. I had to come back to it and finish. It's a great thing to learn. I have never done this. I want to do it, and you are teaching me!! Not complaining.
@@iangoodisDMX I really only use it when meat is on sale - or I buy a tenderloin and fabricate it and the steaks are about 6$ per steak- or I use it when chicken or beef is on sale and I is the machine to freeze it- I’ve only used it doe the past 4 months - abesides that I only use it to sous vide, when I’m lazy enough and so t want to do “ per order temperatures on steak” while at home-

Excellent presentation and tutorial my friend! I love no freezer burn! 🍸💖
Me too on the no freezer burn.
Like the multi color transition slides, it's a really good look. This looks like it did the job really well, but it does look like a lot of work...

Yes really that’s the one of the reasons to purchase it - if not don’t get it/.

Hi Susan- happy fall! I really only use it for sous vide and the large format proteins however there are other uses too as you said.

This is a great review! I have a food saver that I haven't used in a long time. This makes me wanna pull it out and knock the dust off of it.

Shakey, you have expressed my sentiments EXACTLY!
@@Maplecook Yes...you need to invest in a large freezer to save all the proteins.
@@TheOtherSideOfTheStove Just bought one yesterday, actually...lol
Me gustó mucho como deja empacado al vacío las proteínas, que genial! Felicitaciones por tu compra. Saludos
Hola amiga- Gracias ! How are u?
We keep talking about getting a vacuum sealer, but haven’t yet. Thanks for your review
If you live near a Costco or Walmart they have a different version that is good too. I only use this for freezing large amounts of meat.
@@TheOtherSideOfTheStove thanks…we’re surrounded by Walmart’s (lol!) I’ll check them out my friend
