It wasn't the main show and I believe was just a qualifying tournament and it was a janky busted ass version of the game only like a dozen people signed up for. So in typical DSP fashion, even the highlight of his life is a poorly constructed fabrication to boost his fragile ego because in reality his win means absolutely nothing to anyone.
It's so weird to see him actually doing combos with batman, but then the betas for street fighter 6, his favourite franchise. He can barely muster the energy to do anything interesting with even Ryu besides basic normal into hadoken, and he has fairly simple combos even with his more interesting things he has now. Guy totally loves what he does and definetly isn't just phoning it in these days.

Just wanted to share a moment of pure bliss that I enjoyed while watching this video. Been a "detractor" for some time and I peruse quite a few DSP Stream-Highlight channels when I'm bored.There's a sound byte that nearly all detractor channels use in their videos, in some fashion: the one where Phil wonders aloud why he is considered so problematic. It's been a long, busy, and stressful week. Started this upload and felt my mood start to lift as all the great DSP classics played during the intro. Just as my brain starts to unwind, I add one of my favorite DSP lines to the mix - "WHY AM I TOXIC!" - and am stunned that I said this aloud at the exact same time DSP said it at the start of this upload. It was like a moment of pure, pristine synchronicity. I haven't laughed harder than I have in some time. Thanks for that, and remember guys: as bad as your life might be, as terrible as your future might look... at least you're not DSP.
