It is impossible for a Christian to reign in their intermediate state. Christians cannot reign until they receive their Objective Immortality (I Thessalonians 4:13-18; I Corinthians 15:51-58) and Fine Linen (Revelation 19:7). No New Testament author claimed that we will reign in our intermediate state. You have to assume that Christians are in the Book of Revelation Chapters 6-19. Plus, how can there be a Thousand temporal years in an Eternal Heaven.

Obviously preaching the gospel is the most important and central concern we have as evangelical, Bible-believing Christians. And I am in lock step with John MacArthur on the gospel. I have benefited greatly from his ministry since my conversion twenty years ago. However, while the gospel message is "of first importance" (1 Cor 15:3), it is not the only matter in Scripture that is important. Everything Scripture teaches is of real consequence for the believer, or God would not have included it in His word. Every word of Scripture should be read, studied, and taught because "all Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable" (2 Timothy 3:16). And the land/kingdom promised to Israel is taught on in (among other places) Isaiah 2-4; 9-11; 40-66; Ezekiel 36-48; Zechariah 14; Micah 4; Daniel 7-12; Amos 9; Psalm 2; 72; etc. It is also explained in the NT in Romans 4:13; Hebrews 3-4; 11; Acts 1-11; 15; Revelation 21-22. Surely these passages are still worthy of some of our time as believers today! They are not as central as the core gospel message, but they are part of teaching "the whole counsel of God" (Acts 20:27).

Many amillenialists (myself included) believe that the state of Israel is a tool that God will use to convert the Jews to Christianity before Christ’s return, as prophecied in Romans 11 “all Israel shall be saved” and Matt 23 “I will not return until they say ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord’”
Love the message. Just to add to it. The passages in 2 Peter talking about the burning of the elements is a mistranslation. The Greek word interpreted as “elements” (stoicheia) is interpreted as principles in the rest of the New Testament, not Earth Wind and Fire. So what Peter says will burn is actually the principles or the order of things.

There is 2 resurrection in scripture like there is 2 deaths. But the first resurrection is in spirit. As believers though we die physically our souls do not stay in the grave (Hades) as the unbelievers do. But our souls are joined with Christ jn 11:25. That's why it is said we fall "asleep" jn 11:11. Another argument for they are living now with christ. Matt 22: 31-32

And 1 thes 4 makes clear that he will return with them and they will receive thier resurrection bodies and those that are on earth will as well. I don't see where those with chrost now get resurrection bodies twice. Nore does scripture teach that.

1948 was a political man-made creation of a earthly national Israel. An example that I use is if dispensationalists were there when God promised Sarah that she was going to have a son , then watched as Sarah in an attempt to make God’s promise come true, had Abraham go in with Hagar, which brought forth Ishmael, the dispensationalists would claim “ behold, the promise of God has come true!” And yet we know that it did not come true through the actions taken by human beings . Not by Might , nor by power, but my my spirit says the Lord! God’s promise was fulfilled by God by his spirit ! Likewise , The restoration of Israel is not an earthly national thing brought about by wealthy, powerful human beings like the Rothchilds. Read Isaiah 49 You will see that the Lord called the servant “Israel” Who would bring about the restoration of Jacob (earthly national Israel) As well as bring in the gentiles. That is exactly what Jesus did by the gospel ! First error both are In is believing that Jews are all of Israel or that Jews are the nation of Israel. Jews no doubt are Israelites BUT all Israelites are not Jews. Not just one nation BUT MANY. Genesis 35 God tells Jacob he was to become a father of one great nation And a group or company of nations. In Genesis 48 tells us who of his sons would inherit this promise. Manasseh was to become the great nation and Ephraim the group or company of nations, and it was Manasseh and Ephraim sons of Joseph who actually inherited the the name ISRAEL and not Judah ( Jews) . In Genesis 49 Jacob blesses his 12 biological sons and tells them where on earth they also would settle and become independent NATIONS. Many have overlooked Psalms 89:25 where God tells David that God was also going to set( establish, plant) the scepter ( throne, crown) in the Sea. The minor prophets call the house of Israel not the house of Judah ( Jews) isles, coastal lands. The ten tribe kingdom of Israel ( the house of Israel; the lost sheep of the house of Israel) were taken as slaves by the Assyrians 150 yrs before the jews( house of Judah; kingdom of Judah of Judea) were taken slaves by the Chaldean empire ( Babylon). 70 yrs later the only ones that returned to Jerusalem capital of Judah of Judea to rebuild the temple were the Jews ( the house of Judah; Judah, Benjamin and Levi) ONLY. The ten tribes of the house of Israel didn’t and have not returned to Samaria in northern Israel because they after obtaining their freedom freedom from the Assyrians went northwest into the sea . This was to continue to fulfill the promises made to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to become fathers of many nations. Why have we not believe this promises . The descendants of David have continued to be kings over Israel all this years since the last known king of Judah ( Zedekiah) Jeremiah was used to tear, root out the crown ( throne) out of the house of Judah to be planted and built again in the house of Israel, especially in the tribe of Ephraim who along with Manasseh inherited the name Israel.

37:35. another thing I find entertaining. protestants are form believers in sola scriptura, yet these two men are wildly apart in their interpretations of the same script. not only that, but this pastor routinely visits extra-biblical texts to justify his interpretation of the scriptures. so tell me, if it's valid to justify your interpretations of the bible by referencing people outside the bible, why isn't the majisterium also a valid means to attain biblical understanding of scripture? especially since the majesterium has been around for millenia?

Obviously preaching the gospel is the most important and central concern we have as evangelical, Bible-believing Christians. And I am in lock step with John MacArthur on the gospel. I have benefited greatly from his ministry since my conversion twenty years ago. However, while the gospel message is "of first importance" (1 Cor 15:3), it is not the only matter in Scripture that is important. Everything Scripture teaches is of real consequence for the believer, or God would not have included it in His word.
Every word of Scripture should be read, studied, and taught because "all Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable" (2 Timothy 3:16). And the land/kingdom promised to Israel is taught on in (among other places) Isaiah 2-4; 9-11; 40-66; Ezekiel 36-48; Zechariah 14; Micah 4; Daniel 7-12; Amos 9; Psalm 2; 72; etc. It is also explained in the NT in Romans 4:13; Hebrews 3-4; 11; Acts 1-11; 15; Revelation 21-22.
Surely these passages are still worthy of some of our time as believers today! They are not as central as the core gospel message, but they are part of teaching "the whole counsel of God" (Acts 20:27).

Many amillenialists (myself included) believe that the state of Israel is a tool that God will use to convert the Jews to Christianity before Christ’s return, as prophecied in Romans 11 “all Israel shall be saved” and Matt 23 “I will not return until they say ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord’”
Love the message. Just to add to it. The passages in 2 Peter talking about the burning of the elements is a mistranslation. The Greek word interpreted as “elements” (stoicheia) is interpreted as principles in the rest of the New Testament, not Earth Wind and Fire. So what Peter says will burn is actually the principles or the order of things.

There is 2 resurrection in scripture like there is 2 deaths. But the first resurrection is in spirit.

And 1 thes 4 makes clear that he will return with them and they will receive thier resurrection bodies and those that are on earth will as well. I don't see where those with chrost now get resurrection bodies twice. Nore does scripture teach that.

What do amillennialists think about Israel becoming a nation again? It's seems to be a big feather in the cap of the dispensationalists. Lines up with their eschatology pretty well.
1948 was a political man-made creation of a earthly national Israel.
An example that I use is if dispensationalists were there when God promised Sarah that she was going to have a son , then watched as Sarah in an attempt to make God’s promise come true, had Abraham go in with Hagar, which brought forth Ishmael, the dispensationalists would claim
“ behold, the promise of God has come true!”
And yet we know that it did not come true through the actions taken by human beings .

Dispensationalists do not understand that they have a false dichotomy of literal versus spiritual interpretation .
The biblical interpretation according to first Corinthians 15 is earthly natural which comes first and then heavenly spiritual, both literal.

He said all of Israel was taken as slaves by the Babylonians. No only the Jews ( the kingdom of Judah of Judea); Judah, Benjamin and Levi. After Salomon reign over all the tribes of Israel; God put forth his promise to Abraham Isaac and Jacob of making them fathers of Many Nations;Genesis 17,18,35,48,49 chapters. Not just one nation BUT MANY. Genesis 35 God tells Jacob he was to become a father of one great nation And a group or company of nations. In Genesis 48 tells us who of his sons would inherit this promise. Manasseh was to become the great nation and Ephraim the group or company of nations, and it was Manasseh and Ephraim sons of Joseph who actually inherited the the name ISRAEL and not Judah ( Jews) . In Genesis 49 Jacob blesses his 12 biological sons and tells them where on earth they also would settle and become independent NATIONS. Many have overlooked Psalms 89:25 where God tells David that God was also going to set( establish, plant) the scepter ( throne, crown) in the Sea. The minor prophets call the house of Israel not the house of Judah ( Jews) isles, coastal lands. The ten tribe kingdom of Israel ( the house of Israel; the lost sheep of the house of Israel) were taken as slaves by the Assyrians 150 yrs before the jews( house of Judah; kingdom of Judah of Judea) were taken slaves by the Chaldean empire ( Babylon). 70 yrs later the only ones that returned to Jerusalem capital of Judah of Judea to rebuild the temple were the Jews ( the house of Judah; Judah, Benjamin and Levi) ONLY. The ten tribes of the house of Israel didn’t and have not returned to Samaria in northern Israel because they after obtaining their freedom freedom from the Assyrians went northwest into the sea . This was to continue to fulfill the promises made to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to become fathers of many nations. Why have we not believe this promises . The descendants of David have continued to be kings over Israel all this years since the last known king of Judah ( Zedekiah) Jeremiah was used to tear, root out the crown ( throne) out of the house of Judah to be planted and built again in the house of Israel, especially in the tribe of Ephraim who along with Manasseh inherited the name Israel.
