Hey nice Vid! :)
Fantastic video shots of machinery in action with superb editing. Please stay safe with all those exposed bits whizzing around you while you peer into the viewfinder!
Cool video! I really like the video shots you get! I believe Farming Simulator 15 has a DLC coming out soon featuring the Holmer. Poor little critter was at the wrong place at the wrong time! Lol!
+Copernicus27 It doesn't really matter, as they are brought to the processing plant (sugar factory) straight away (because sugar levels in the beet drop quickly after harvesting, so there is no long term storage), and the first step in the sugar making process is washing and shredding the beets to thin strips anyway, reducing them to pulp.
I notice a lot of the sugar beet harvests are done when the fields are wet...is this preferable for lifting the beets or is this just coincidence?...very nice informative camera angles...great job...cheers from Ontario Canada
+tooez90 They harvest them when the soil temp hits 58 degrees because that's when they stop making sugar and start to rot. Wet is just a coincidence of that time of year.
Questions? Does the harvester cause heavy soil compaction? What are the beets used for? Do you have to pressure wash the head daily to prevent clogs from wet dirt?
+jbmbanter The gross weight of the harvester is approximately 49t with a 30t capacity tank, the weight is spread between six massive flotation tyres. So there is some soil compaction taking place, but not that much… The header is cleaned a couple of times a day by hand with a spade or shovel, but pressure washed thoroughly only when the season is finished. The beets are used for producing sugar.
***** Being from over here in Georgia, USA. I am always intrigued by the tractors and equipment that you use. I'm always happy to see a big green tractor but I love to see the Fendt, and others. Thanks for taking the time to respond to my question. I check for new videos on your channel daily and always love it when you have posted new ones.
It was a rat mate don't worry ( I hate rats there fucking horrible things but mice are cut AF and I've had to pet s few baby ones found nesting in a boot!) and eats deserve to die...
Ensemble_ 96 because the machine is so heavy empty and beets are a heavy crop it allows them to distribute the weight. also beets are harvested in cold, damp wet weather as you can see in the video. so when its half full going over the same track 6 times would either get stuck or something. it would also cock up the field, it will dry im the summer very un even
The drifting mechanism, allowing this machine to drive at an angle like it does, removes the need for all wheels to cross over the same terrain/track in order to harvest in a straight line. This reduces soil compaction. So as the machine is quite heavy, this mechanism actually ensures that it's less likely to get stuck in deep mud, or cause deep tracks.
Why has the harvester a german license plate? :) do you know that? :)And as "Little fun fact": the R on the license plate stand for Regensburg and the Company Ropa build their sugar been and potato harvesters Panther and Tiger 20 km away from Regensburg :D so it's funny to see a harvester from Holmer with such a license plate :D
Thx for sharing ....

Greetz from CH....
This guy probably has my favorite UA-cam channel. Marvelous photography and so very entertaining.
626 horsepower from a six cylinder engine is impressive. Germans build high quality equipment. These are the best videos on UA-cam.
The poor mouse :/ but a really good video. You make very nice videos from machines in action!
And the guy with the Fendt, he drive like he has stolen the tractor :)
tsint yep it's farm theft auto time!
hahahaha lol xD
like he wants to break it.. my god. he will never drive a tractor of me
excellent videography - especially the closeup in the pick up area!
6:02 this is like a tractor should be driven 😎
RIP mouse 🐀😂
I drove one of these recently!! Well, if you count Farming Simulator that is.....
Frithgar haha
Frithgar hi
@frithgar I love your time-lapse videos and just your channel in general. Keep up the great work!
Frithgar same bro
Frithgar omg just realised its you!! nice vids keep em up!!
Weer een mooi filpje ! Ook leuk dat stukje met die muis 😂

+einfachnurjam Thanks, your the man!
I always look at your technique and admire your work!
drive her like you stole her! mooie video!

Was für eine gewaltige Maschine.
Always amazing seeing farmers at work. At the conditions you must work in. Wow. My utmost respect to you all.
You've Made Progress! Hey there, cloistered examine What do you think, kuys? !!
really nice video☺good job👍👍👍 i finished my sugar beet harvest video a few minutes ago. but i wish i saw your video before 😅
these vids are very good well done!
Vous faite du super travail continuer comme sa ☺
RIP little Beet Mouse

another great video 👍
3:16 ouch I think that will hurt the tipper, I think its not really meant for that, I mean the whole tipper is shaking.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA well yah i suppose so but there only dumpers cheep and simple
@@oitzharveyxd3227 if i'd do that on our farm like him my father would kill me. unnecessary breaking of equipment and the sugar beets.
Impressive machine nice vid!!
Why is crab steering useful?
Nice video
Very Nice Video !
So beautiful!
Nice video! Can you take a video of how tractors and combines are being washed
Nice video!!!
Does it do damage to the sugarbeets in the pile when the tractor drivers slam the trailer into them when unloading? Seems pretty extreme.

You make such nice videos!! Keep going!!! ;-)

+dimduk thanks for the information...I appreciate it
Now once the work is all done is the machine power washed. Can we get some videos of that!! Thanks
nice Video :D At which time was it recorded and how many tones dou you harvest on a Hektar? :)
Nice vid. When was it carried out?
+Ridvan on gun Thanks! This was December last year ;-)
+Tractorspotter thx
+Tractorspotter I think you dint have snow than we here in Finland :D
+Bene does snow even melt in Finland? Lol
Ridvan ongun yvbc
this is new Holmer DLC for Farming simulator 15
Where do you film these videos? And this is cool video again ;)
+Bene The description says Klaaswaal (Netherlands)
+einfachnurjam Well, at least that's where the "agricultural wage enterprise" (found this one the web, don't know if that's the right word:D) is from
Questions? Does the harvester cause heavy soil compaction? What are the beets used for? Do you have to pressure wash the head daily to prevent clogs from wet dirt?

2;17 those look just like rocks
So.... what are sugarbeets used for? BTW Fendts are awesome tractors!
Justin Frederick sugar, sugar are used in very much
Superior german engineering, my friend!
Nice video! Is the machine too long to pull its on header on the road?
+tsint more than likely that its too wide, length usualy isn't too much of an issue.
Good video ;)
R.I.P Mouse :D 🐭 😂 😂 😂
It was a rat mate don't worry ( I hate rats there fucking horrible things but mice are cut AF and I've had to pet s few baby ones found nesting in a boot!) and eats deserve to die...
Perfekt !!!
So I am curious as to what the purpose of crab steering is while beet harvesting?
Ensemble_ 96 because the machine is so heavy empty and beets are a heavy crop it allows them to distribute the weight. also beets are harvested in cold, damp wet weather as you can see in the video. so when its half full going over the same track 6 times would either get stuck or something. it would also cock up the field, it will dry im the summer very un even
Ensemble_ 96 yeah ive just looked its 49 tonne empty with a 30 tonne tank...
Çok güzel bir makine, çiftçilerimizin işgücüne büyük kolaylık sağlıyor muhakkak, nasıl temin edebiliz acaba
Does anyone know why the Beet lifting machine has it's rear wheel tracking off-set?
Erated78 ive awnserd this about 9 times lol find a comment ive replied to
It's a rat not a mouse.
+Mr.soj Your right, but it was meant to be a wink to Ropa . Therefore I have written 'Maus' instead of Mouse ;-) Anyways, sharp-eyed sir!
+Mr.soj So a rat
😂😂😂
:D
Why do these Machines run with the rear off set ?
+Pedro Chapps To spread out the ground pressure exerted on the field, in order to avoid, as much as possible, soil compaction.
I wouldn't like to plow this land!
Um Gottes Willen die bodenverdichtungen😧😟😳
+Hannes Doyscher die pflügen das jedes jahr, und der holmer hat nicht um sonnst den hundegang.
Great video! Which dron are you recording?
why doesn't it drive in a straight line ?
The drifting mechanism, allowing this machine to drive at an angle like it does, removes the need for all wheels to cross over the same terrain/track in order to harvest in a straight line. This reduces soil compaction. So as the machine is quite heavy, this mechanism actually ensures that it's less likely to get stuck in deep mud, or cause deep tracks.
Thnx☺
Just A Comment yup gna s right but its called crab steer
I play farming simulator so I saw that :)

5:52 jep its pretty cold
How many ha have you
oh no the mouse
Bedankt!
RIP MOUSE
112smilde yeeeess 😂😂😂😂
awww poor mouse(
Nice 5/5
