I have a FAR more important question. Outside of the diehard fans, will anyone care about either team in this tournament? The USA media? No, they don't think there are enough viewers to even bid on broadcast rights for MLS games. USA corporations? No - they despise soccer because it does not have ad breaks for commercials. The casual fans? No - the MLS and most things soccer are behind paywalls. In short the entire tournament will happen with only a handful of people noticing.
The Sounders would have to sign 3 great DPs to even be slightly competitive, and it doesn't seem like they have any interests in being one of the ambitious teams in the league anymore.
In most leagues, the regular season top team is considered the league champion. Because the schedule is unbalanced thanks to the league's size, it is still debatable whether the end of season tournament cup is more creditable. Personally, the most consistent club should represent the league.
Let's start with MLS taking the league seriously, where they actually prioritize winning the Continental tournament, even if they don't make money from it, and then they would get more representation. They wouldn't even allow the Sounders to wear the CCL championship patch on their jersey, when they were the first team to do it. The mls is like, of it's not our tournament, we'll just ignore it. As you can tell this is my biggest beef with league's attitude.
There won't be a next time 😂 MLS will need to win CCC which they won't. MLS was lucky to win in 2022 but only way we see an MLS team in a CWC again is if 🇺🇸 host again which won't happen any time soon.
every team who is in cwc will get 1 transfer window 1june to 8 june so there are high chance miami could sign arg players who are free transfer and end of there carrier ex dmaria ,otamandi , pardes and many more but it depend on mls salary cap hope so they increase it by 3 , 4 million
I'm very excited for CWC. I'm a Seattle Sounders fan and I'm proud of our team to be standing on the same stage as these global powerhouse teams. When will I ever personally have the chance to see the Sounders play PSG in Seattle ever again? When will I, personally, ever have the chance to see PSG at all again? I'm not confident in Seattle's chances of making it out of the group called the "group of death" but I'm here for the ride. For me it's impossible not to be excited. It's the world stage. It's FIFA! When's the next time FIFA will be in Seattle? It's the experience. I'll be in Lumen field repping the Sounders against PSG and I'm gonna have a great time doing it, no matter how badly we'll probably end up losing. Although I wish we had a better chance than we do of making anything happen lol. It's like any other gameday, we show up for the love of the game, win or lose.
Palmeiras will be way stronger than the predictions were a couple weeks ago, around the draw time period. They just signed Facundo for depth and Paulinho (former Leverkusen player) as a starter. They are also intending to sign Andreas Pereira (Fulham and Brazil NT), and an outstanding #9. I couldn't find any moves linked to Al Ahly. Miami has to secure that defense, absolutely. Botafogo is on a squad rebuild moment, and Atleti is just on fire lately. PSG still has that bag to spend, 2 transfer windows ahead...
Despite the controversy upon the Club World Cup, it is an important tournament. A lot of teams are taking it seriously, which makes sense since this tournament will be held every four years.
I love the MLS. I don’t care about the Premier League or La Liga and the rest of the Europe leagues. Yes, MLS needs improvement but I’m happy with the MLS and my Inter Miami.
If you get out of the group that will be a win😂 Mls ans African teams don't stand a chance but the experience and exposure will push them to prepare for future tournaments Just enjoy the experience ❤
I have to make my predictions of miami in CWC 25 MIA 2-2 ALH MIA 2-1 POR MIA 0-3 PAL Round 16 MIA 1-5 ATM And for Seattle sounders SEA 2-2 BOT SEA 0-4 ATM SEA 1-3 PSG
Sorry I disagree, both MLS teams will be LUCKY to get one tie, much less a win and not be 4th in their groups. MIA will likely be 0-2-1 at best, more likely 0-3-0.
10:03 Let's just see.... But no ur wrong they don't pail in comperisim....Al Alhy is up there not as the best team in Africa but 1 of the best in the world. I dear say Top 10. They just need a little bit more money
MLS fans enjoy this Club World Cup! No matter which MLS team you support or how good or bad Miami and Seattle play, enjoy it! Because this will be the last time MLS participates in it. MLS was lucky to win CCL in 2022 and they won't do it again. Liga MX simply dominates CCL. Expect Liga MX to have 4 teams in the 2029 CWC
Define "lucky." You're forgetting that Seattle ran the table undefeated in 2022. Didn't lose a single leg. I wouldn't call that "lucky." And before you go saying they beat weak LMX clubs, think about how saying that will also ruin your own argument.
@rockinmel1 They indeed win because LMX didn't have it usual top clubs. No Monterrey, Tigres or America in that CCL. With this new format of CCC it guarantees that the top LMX clubs are always there and possibly even more if they get Leagues Cup spots. That's why I don't see MLS winning CCC for a long time. Enjoy that Seattle win
@@oyaml1211 As mentioned, you've now destroyed your own argument. How do you THINK clubs who aren't the "usual top clubs" made it to CCL? And how do no LMX clubs win Leagues Cup despite "the usual top clubs" all being there? With a single-match final, anytime it's held at the MLS club's home it gives them the advantage. We'll likely see MORE MLS clubs win CCL.
@rockinmel1 Who cares about Leagues Cup that is always played in the US and doesn't give a ticket to the CWC? If MLS is that good then they would've won more CCL instead of only 1 in the last 20 years. That's luck whether you like it or not. Will we see an MLS team in the 2029 CWC? Nope, and they won't have hosting spot either.
This show was too long and you were reharshing the same points over and over and in the end no one knows how things will go. One thing is for sure, MLS need to lift the salary cap , but more importantly, they need to make sure every MLS football club has a minimum amount they need to invest than to be complacent and not lifting the quality throughout the lague.
Can Inter Miami make it out of their group?

Prolly not
Yes, but it will depend on defense and midfield to be solid
They might cheat their way

I agree
Maybe one day FIFA will take our league seriously & the real champion will be allowed to participate lol
It was weird how they selected the team but it’s all about International performance and they said because they won’t leagues cup in 2023

Regular Season champion is the real champion.
Playoffs are irrelevant and good that FIFA treats it that way

True, they can help allot,
we will see

I expect both of our teams to be humiliated. MLS is a mediocre league with mediocre aspirations.

@gregorybiestek3431 yeah I understand especially Miami still gets Callender the shittiest gk
But we'll see what will happen in 2025 😉👍
I doubt either team will.
Get out of their group?

The galaxy won the mls cup, and Miami won the shield.

I hope Miami fail miserably and Seattle Sounders make it past the group stages.
If Seattle make it out of that group they will write stories and make movies about it
