Right -_- why didn’t they get points docked for not having flag, rifle or Sabre work? Only swing flags part of the show and that can be taught to anyone.
Buzz isgod a guard does flag work, and at least some form of rifle work - yes. They danced (bc they are a dance team not a guard). If colorguard drops equipment they get docked points, therefor there was no opportunity for any points to get docked bc they had no guard work. I’m not clear on how this was okay for first place... again, why would points not been docked for not having actual guard work? Their dancing was beautiful but that’s understandable since they are a dance team... all the other schools had actual guards and guard work except them.

It's just simple logic if we can get points deducted for dropping rifles just eliminate the rifles BAM! no points deducted and we are not the ones who decide to have rifles our band director doesn't like them because he got a scar because of them so he just doesn't use them and it works out for all of us
