Same thing happened to me. I used the same fix and everything is fine now. I have the Hypertherm45xp on a GoTorch expanded to 4x4. I used a piece of steel for a spell to make contact, then I decided to bend my tab too. Funny I ran into your video. We had the same mindset. Mine still works fine now for a few years.
