Dad is a luck man, a wife and daughter who both make his life rich beyond any amount of money.
Terrific young lady who now is a wife making Grant's life rich.
You are an amazing person Laura, God bless you.
+1 x 1,0000000000000000000000.......
I cannot say the same enough times over!
thank you.
God Bless family!
This woman is so authentic and courageous that she inspires me.
Yeah, she even inspires my dreams.
me too
Every time I'm behind someone roading one of those sprayers when I'm riding my motorcycle its so hard to fight the urge to ride under it
can laura get into the cab easier or
You young lady are absolutely precious, so full of life. Thanks for sharing, it's much appreciated.
Not many people have a job that they
Absolutely love, you and your family
Are so blessed😃
It must be nice having help to add ingredients to the tank! I was a "one man band" and did most everything alone. Filling the sprayer was somewhat stressful, esp. when more than 3 products had to be loaded. Driving was fun with auto steer, boom height as well as off/on all controlled by gps. You'll like it.
You should have told the viewers that was just RV antifreeze used to winterize the sprayer.
Laura, most of the little that I "know" about farming comes from a couple I met at church here in Portland OR, and this was after they quit their farm on the far east side of OR. The procedures for farming there and the corps grown are probably a lot different than in your area. They certainly are different in terms of "TIME". They left that farm in 1990 and now I watch you in in 2022, and I can only imagine how much they would have loved to have some of your incredible equipment back then! On a personal note, you have projected one of the most godly families that I have ever seen. I'll pray for you always and ask for blessing to fall upon you.
So that's what that valve does. 😁
Yep! Viola`!
Good ole non toxic RV water line anti-freeze! I wish that it could be recycled and reused again and again because it ain't cheap. But it turns rancid (breaking down due to bacteria ingesting it) after so long and you got to dispose of it.
Love the channel. I've been a heavy equipment operator for almost 10 years and I love learning about farm equipment. Keep workin hard and making your family proud :)
I really enjoy watching the videos of your work on the farm! My husband and I are college friends of your Papa Curt and Gramma Carla! We live in Texas and have been to the farm there in Marquette! Been praying for your papa and it was good seeing a short clip of him in your video today!
If nothing else this series shows directly what is involved in farming, from all the licenses needed most people did not know even existed to the mechanics knowledge of maintaining many machines. Also the machines are parts hungry. You know John Deere does not forget to charge. And Laura is very knowledgeable about most of the tasks needed. Good deal.
THAT machine is amazing! 😮 It’s difficult to actually choose a favorite, but when the sprayer unfolds??? IMPRESSIVE! 🤩
So much effort goes into mixing, loading, operating, and maintaining something that massive. This was a very entertaining, enjoyable, and very educational video...can’t wait to see this beast in action! 😀
Love ❤️ you, Grammy
Very good broadcast 👏👏 Thank you for always being so positive, you are a breath of fresh air. May God bless you and your family and keep y’all in His loving care 🙏🏼👩🏼🌾🙏🏼❣️
Please continue with the machinery tours and their use. I own a JD lawn tractor and that is probably as close as I'll ever get to the stuff you use and maintain. Interesting stuff for we non-farmer types, lol!
Laura, you do a great job with your videos and in the operation of the farm. IMO, the next time you're in town get yourself a box of N95 particle masks. I think it will do you so much good in the long run when working with chemicals as you're creating your chemical solution for spraying those fields! I did notice that you were wearing you safety glasses - good stuff! God has given us 1 pair of eyes and 1 set of lungs! Food for thought !
Laura, You are really on a roll with these, great, instructional videos; and yes to your statement/question at the end, I very much want to see more. After college I was a custom applicator for Heartland CO-OP in Nevada, IA; and my Ag-Chem, Ro-Gator was very similar to your sprayer. I keep telling my neighbors about your videos. - Missouri Farmer, Doug.
My cousin was a long time ag chem applicator for Southern States. He passed from cancer two years ago and he had blamed some of the most dangerous chemicals that he was often exposed to as the cause. Most of the bad ones that that he mentioned are now banned or obsolete and he even refused to sell them in his own farm store. As you know (I'm saying this for others out there) most of the ag chemicals are a good thing and are quite safe when handled correctly, but repeatedly daily breathing in the mist and repeated skin contact over a long time can be a bad thing. I have worked with and around dangerous chemicals for most of my life and I still worry if there could be consequences for it later on like what happened to my cousin.
@@joefudd I see the concern in what you say having your cousin passed away recently.
A lot of those harsh chemicals that were used decades ago are no longer available. Also chemicals and chemical spraying practices have changed over time to make it a lot safer for both operators and the public. Gone are the days when you used to apply chemicals on a no cabbed tractor wearing shorts and a tshirt.
Checking or changing filters in your cab is a must. Also I get a blood test every year to check for toxins.
I've been chemical spraying for over 30 years.
Be safe out there.
@@kpfpv8515 my cousin sprayed mostly from a 4WD pickup with no AC (had to roll the windows down in hot weather) with a spraying rig mounted on it or an open tractor spraying rig from the 1980's until 2006 and retired from that job and opened his own farm supply store. He was an awesome man and surely did not deserve what happened to him. Again, I'm worried about all of the long term effects of the many dangerous chemicals that I have been exposed to for most of my career.
Just love the smiles. Puts a smile on my face too!
I really enjoy watching you and learning more about farming
Laura & Cale here's to another great and profitable year on the farm.
Hey Laura, yes please continue the great content.. I found your channel about a month ago, I have been watching your old videos and of course the new ..my grandpa got me hooked on big trucks, tractors 🚜 a long time ago. You and your family are truly a inspiration. Thanks for sharing your farm life...
You're soo amazing Laura.. you should be a farming teacher.. you have a total gift for it😁..love your videos and that infectious smile.. until next time.. mwuuaahhh 😘❤️
I wish I could smile as much as Laura does these days. I have to deal with so much doom and gloom all over the place. Thanks for giving me a few minutes of peace Laura😁.
Doom and gloom....stop watching the main stream media is the solution.
@@edgewood99 I’m a Trauma counselor and I have to do a lot of traveling. And you are right about the media they don’t help me out at all!!
@@edgewood99 I refuse to watch all TV news anymore. I cannot even stand the local news either. I get my news online form sources that do not lie like the lamestream media does.
@@mikemerrill175 ya media is the other virus in this country probably the most serious one.
Another great video. Good to see that you have a real hands on approach to everything. Can't wait to see your next video

It's great that you are always so happy. Farm life is good for your disposition. Awesome videos!
There’s one thing I dislike about the Mercedes diesels, the fuel filters.
Hi from PA
Morning, first video of the day for me. 😊 Always look forward to your videos. 🥰🥰🥰Thank you and have a great day. 👍👍👍
Yay!! A Seabee flag!!!!
Hoorah Seabee!!!
🔥💪🔥
Do you grow seed corn for a company I would know? I remember when kids in this area (southeast Indiana) would ride the tasseling machines on those hot days.
If a filling station inside the shed why you use a petrol pump and not an electric one ?
Hallo from Paraguay.
Abrazos.
Have you looked into an agricultural drone setup for spraying?
Hello Laura good morning
How is the weather where you are we got snow in Lexington
Its called purge the booms 😉
@4:38 was Classic!!!!!! You were doing a tour/Tutorial.....So easy to do!!!!!!
7:12 where does that magical floor drain go? I've seen water, dirt, oil, anti-freeze, and various other chemicals going in there...
I had an good education today 🦉👍
Where does the drain in the building go to? That sprayer is HUGE!!
Obviously, that anti-freeze went down the drain in to your dedicated run-off tank in the ground! 🤭😉
Propylene glycol is bio-degradable. Too bad that it cannot be readily recycled because it ain't cheap!
When you drain the tank, I assume it goes into a collection tank. How long before you have to drain that tank?
5:46 Come at me bro! lol
Hallo from CROATIA 🙋🙋
