Y’all won’t believe but I have genuinely been thinking about this a while for y’all. You guys do glow very differently with your community around and especially when Jess and Gabe moved to Tennessee, I had a “man, i hope tori and chad do too” WOULD BE SO HAPPY FOR YOU GUYS IF THIS COMES THROUGH 🥹 praying for God’s best 🫂
YES!! Community is so important!! Do it if it seems like God is leading you there. 🤗
Also, if it is possible... I would highly recommend looking at some older homes on a little bit of land. 😄 Would love to see Micah with a backyard and maybe a couple chickens someday?? 😉

I think the Lord is planning a revival in TN. So many people have moved there! The lord actually called me to move to TN in January too! Chattanooga but I am SO excited. Praying for yall in this new season!!

I love this for you guys!!! I had a feeling it would be Nashville because that's where your people are. All the best and I pray God walks with you through this major decision - uprooting and being planted elsewhere isn't always the easiest, but with God everything always works out as it should. I'm excited to see what the next few months have in store for y'all!
That first house was great! I love the more wooded area outside with more privacy and it was beautiful inside. Community is very important when doing life. I agree that moving near the bulk of your people is a good idea. We also were just looking at a house closer to our new church community, but we found out our current house is worth less than the one we found there even though ours now has much more land and a new shop building, but maybe another opportunity will come that is affordable and meets our criteria.

When my husband and I moved almost 3 years ago I remember feeling the same way y'all do and so sad to leave behind what we had established already but the Lord has been SO good in providing community where we currently live so I know He will do the same for you guys! Praying for wisdom and direction as you guys navigate what's next!

I highly recommend TN! My husband and I moved to the Nashville area last year. It was always my dream to live in the area and it has been such a blessing being here. 🥰
I ❤ it here in Nashville, and Victorian houses are always in need of some TLC!! They have a history, and character. Old farm houses can be bought at a cheap price, and I can totally see your fam raising some farm animals (chickens!!), with little Micah and the future children. The possibilities are endless! I wish your family all the best; God has got your world in his hands! 😊
I’m not shocked at all about Nashville and I think that God will bless whatever decision you make 😇 I have to say I loved house # 1. I absolutely loved the lot and I think that is one of the most important parts of picking a new home. I also liked the layout. The second home would be my second choice and the third home…. I am born and raised from Nashville and just moved to Orlando Fl! It really is a great place to raise kids. I lived in Franklin growing up. Literally so many people have moved there and are moving there now. It’s changing a lot but for the better I’d say. It makes me wonder if God is up to something big there! Bless y’all’s endeavors 🙏🏼

Ahhhh so I actually did NOT see this coming and was totally shocked just because I felt like your family just started snuggling up in your beautiful home that you guys built from the ground up! I remember waiting excitedly for EACH home update video and following along the journey, so I did get surprised from the news because I felt like it was just yesterday seeing the different room reveals hehe..BUT I totally understand how community can be important. & when God gave you both peace to move to FL, I was so happyyy and excited to see God's purpose for you both on that journey.
I'm sure as you pray for God's will and guidance, it'll be a wonderful season. Whatever the decision is, remember you'll continue to have this support of your online community wherever God takes you or keeps you and your family. :)

If I lived in FL I’d stay. I live in KY, not too far from TN and I hope you all wouldn’t mind cold, cloudy winters in Nashville. It’s hard living somewhere that you’re indoors a lot during the winter bc it’s bitterly cold. But I understand community also. I just thrive better personally on environment/weather. So please talk to your friends about the climate and weather and make sure you won’t miss warm, sunny FL in winter.
I’m from North Carolina (pretty much same seasons as Tennessee) and have lived in Florida the last couple years and cannot wait to leave Florida. It’s super fun for a visit, especially when you live somewhere where it is cold in the winter, but summer year round grows old and I long for the change in season! When it’s summer weather year round, everything seems the same all the time. Nothing to look forward to😭 to each their own for sure though. Some people definitely love living in Florida
@@kimberlykroemer2755 yes I’ve heard a lot of people say they miss the different seasons. I get seasonal depression in fall and winter due to the cold temps and overcast skies so I’m on the opposite end of the weather aspect. I visit Florida each winter for about a week and it significantly boosts my mental health back up.

Okay yes because a while back someone was throwing and Easter or Thanksgiving or some sort of party for the Nashville people and around the same time you all mentioned struggling a bit with community and that’s when moving first crossed my mind. Praying for you all!

I have no comment about you guys moving out I personally loved that house but do what makes you guys happy. The Masters fam have missed Cooking with Chad.
My only comment is that I'm sad we haven't connected again at church. When the XO Marriage conference was announced for October I was excited...and hoping you both were going to be speaking. Maybe we'll cross paths again soon, if not we love Tennessee so we might need to take a road trip next year!!

Hey this is super crazy to see! I have watched yall since you were in LA. I actually am a Nashville native and grew up there my entire life. It is a great area and I can speak for the Nashville area and say we will be blessed to have yall!
I'm not surprised that you're considering the move. I think it'll be so great for you to be near your close friends!
But at the same time it'll be sad seeing you leave the house you built. On the other hand, it'll be nice to have a house that can fit you all as a growing family with plenty of space for kids and guests. I'm excited to journey with you guys on this adventure!

@@allisong3736 oh I'm not saying it doesn't. They have a large house! It's just that if they buy a house that has more bedrooms, there will be space for their future kiddos and still have a designated guest room.

My master bedroom is right in the front of our house facing the neighbors and it is a little weird. I don’t want to open curtains if the bedroom is messy lol or to change my clothes etc but love having curtains open. Not the end of the world but definitely not my favorite

I completely and totally love the first house period though a fixer-upper of an older house sounds very exciting period you're a young couple and you can do that I'm a little older and I don't want to happen to all that but God bless by
