Mountains to the Murray I Part 2 I Echuca to Murray Sunset to Lake Mulwala

G'day all!
What an awesome trip! Starting out in the Snowy Mountains in Talbingo, before heading out to Benalla and then along the Murray to Echuca, Swan Hill and into Mallee Country, visiting Murray Sunset National Park, Mildura and then BACK to the mountains through Lake Mulwala and Tumbarumba. Trout, Snow Gum Forests, Mountain Streams, Silo Art, Street Art, Great company, Incredible Birdlife, Spectacular Pink Salt lakes and A Murray river in Minor flooding conditions.
Part 2 of this trip sees us travel from Echuca to Lake Mulwala through Murray Sunset National Park and Mallee Country in the North West of Victoria!
After leaving camp at Wills Bend, outside of Echuca, we headed out to Swan Hill, before heading inland to check out the first of many Pink/Salt Lakes; Lake Tyrrell! A Stunning Pink Lake. We were lucky enough to be there at the perfect time to see the lake at its best.
After that, we had a few more Silos to check out in Sea Lake, Patchewollock and Walpeup, before heading into Murray Sunset to spend the night. We camped at Lake Crosbie campground, which ended up being an awesome, chilly night.
The next day we headed up to Mildura and Wentworth. The town of Mildura was really nice. We also got to check out the Perry Sandhills sand dunes for a bit of fun as well as the Murray Darling Junction, before finally heading into Kyffinns reserve at Lake Mulwala. Yet again, no fish caught, but still a great night and a great spot to camp.
