I would suggest that this so called beneficial bacteria is not that useful as it seems. Better use stress heal and keep changing atleast 30-40% water regularly when the tank is new.

If you had tested (with test kit) ammonia and nitrite level in water after cycling for 5 days, that would have been more helpful review.
