Yeah. In this universe, I feel like it's one of those "I need to set example even when it's you" type deals.
Lucifer wasn't supposed to go against the rules, but he did.
So he is cast out creating a new realm. I think that, plus the sinners being the worst killed the dream.
Hazbin Hotel makes it seem like Hell is what you make of it, and the ability to redeem yourself is the way out.
So, in a way, Dad cast him out to a place he could prove his point. Instead of having to kill him for his convictions.

I agree with you @emerald_s9023. God never hated lucifer. I'm friends with a theologist and he said that if lucifer ever repented for the evil he cast into the mortal realm then God would mlbe more that happy to forgive him. God still loves Lucifer, jst as he still loves us, even though we sin.
Hazbin hotel is not meant to be bibleley accurate So maybe here lucifer is God's son or he is his right hand man who knows

The comical thing here is it happens in the actual show. In the pilot, Alastor casually destroys Sir Pentious' blimp then goes "Well I'm starved, who wants some jambalaya!?" And in Episode 8(I think) Lucifer goes "So... Who's up for pancakes?" After they defeat Adam and the Exorcists go back to heaven.

En este caso Lucifer defiende sus sueños y protege a Lilth, Dios lo repudia y sus hermanos lo destierran, siendo Azrael el que le da el golpe final para caer. When you think about it God actually gave Lucifer his own kingdom by making him fall, idk my theory is that when god saw the other angels rejecting Lucifer and manage the world alone he was like dang it that was good idea.. You know what imma send him down there with his wife so they can reign in there own place, without dumbass' bullying them and it's hell because God want Lucifer and his wife to redeem the sinners. And it crashed because Adam wanted to have fun.
The thing is the other angels weren’t bullying him all they wanted was to keep order and good and prevent evil from entering the universe but because Lucifer was rebellious like the first ep stated his actions led evil entering the world which is why they had to punish him because like he decided to act like a rebellious child not knowing the consequences his actions would cause and his actions caused a lot of harm

Lucifer era curioso desde el inicio, para él el conocer y al curiosidad eran buenas, era el encargado de traer felicidad al cielo, le hacía feliz saber y posiblemente compartir este saber, pero todos lo veían como algo malo, por eso era un "alborotador", quiso darles a los humanos lo que el mismo sentía y vivía. I find it funny how God tells people not to hate Lucifer as that would defeat the purpose, but people always want to depict him as a shunned despicable dissapointment to actively despise and blame.
