It’s hard to stop bying guns. They are very addictive. I have four kids and I forced myself to stop buying guns and found myself on optics planet buying barrels and scopes. It never ends. I need to change my mindset and spend more time shooting less time buying crap
You're telling my story bro. It just doesn't stop. Pistol for this, pistol for that, ar for this, ar for that. And then just those retro ar's ta just feel like ya need to build. Then suppressors, then sbr's. Addictive is an understatement!
As long as you can afford it and it doesn’t cause any inconvenience get as much as you want. I’ll probably give away what I don’t want to family & you could do the same.
Yeah, I got bitten and suffered from a bad case of GAS (gear acquisition syndrome)... and ended up with quite a few firearms. Now, when I come back from the range, I look at the ones that I didn't take and wonder when I'm going to shoot them again. I've decided to trim down my collection a bit... not that I don't *want* the ones I have (I most certainly do)... but I don't NEED all of them. And I hate having things I don't use.
I’m with you. I own several AR platform firearms in 5.56 in various barrel lengths ranging from 10.3” to 20”. It’s a great platform and incredibly versatile. My favorite firearm in my collection to plink around with is a tie between my MK18 Mod 1 and my AR9 pistol.
That's like asking a woman why they have so many pairs of shoes or so many different purses. I'm not trying to pick on Women or come across as sexist. Just pointing out that these are similar points made for those kinds of examples. It comes down to personal preference, needs and/or wants. It's subjective. No person should have to justify to another the quality or quantity of the tools or accessories they use for any task.
I'm working my way towards all the handgun calibers. Reloading for them and testing loads are a great hobby. Ask your wife, why so many shoes??? It's like tools, different uses for the different tools. Can't just have one hammer. Merry Christmas !
I’ve got it double, have had a classic car collection I worked on perfecting all my life, and ten years ago finally decided to by my first AR and concealed carry pistol. Well, that opened a can of worms. Of course I had a couple wood stock shotguns and rifles since being young, but had to add to the different calibers of tacticool arms, and it’s good to have at least two of each for backups.
Oh yes makes perfect sense and my wife likes guns and shoots with me we even have her younger sister shooting with us, and it helped my wanting another gun safe . Keep the videos coming!
I did spend a day in Northern Panama. I got on the boat right after it had come through the canal. I got the wall from HoldUp Displays. Check them out!
Awesome video as always. I never thought I would want a 9mm PCC until I tried one. Now that I finally built one.. its what I take to the range the most. Its now even more fun with the binary on it (hee haw)
*Variety is the spice of life.. and Diversity is the Key.. and many have said that the Golden Rule has always been "Quality Over Quantity".. but Quantity is a Quality all to itself.* When I was a noob.. fresh and green.. I wanted one of EVERYTHING.. in EVERY caliber available! Over the years I saw no real sense or purpose in having multiple rifles in the same platform. Afterwards, I saw no sense in having firearms in so many different calibers.. and trying to maintain stockpiles.. so.. I made the difficult choice of limiting my collection.. keeping only my favorite and most precious firearms.. and trying trying to have no more than one rifles in the same caliber for the same platform.. so I try to have maybe one semi auto in .308.. and a bolt gun in 308.. and not 3 or 4 semi auto rifles all in .308.. like I did when I was 22yrs old. There was a time in my life when I was just recklessly buying.. wanting every hot new caliber that was out.. and seeing absolutely nothin wrong with having an AR in 5.56x45.. and an AR-10 in .308.. and an AR with the 7.62x39 upper.. and an AR in .300 Blk Out.. and 350 Legend.. and an AR in 450 Bushmaster.. and 6.5 Grendel.. and even a .22lr in the AR platform.. then an AR-12 platform 12ga shogun... and then buying an AK.. and then an AK in 5.56x45.. and an AK in 9mm.. and a Mini Draco.. and a Micro Draco.. and an AK platfor 12 ga.. like seriously.. wtf? I dont need ONE of every Glock.. and I dont need 3 or 4 AR-15's all in 5.56x45.. and if I need to own 3 or 4 rifles in 5.56x45 give me just one AR-15.. an X-95.. a Styer AUG.. and one Galil Ace.. instead of 4 AR-15's.. and Im good. I love my Ruger 10/22.. as it was one of my very first rifles from back in the 80's.. and I still own it today.. I think it is the BEST .22lr in the world.. and I have done everything under the sun to my Ruger 10/22.. but after owning it for 40yrs I have NEVER EVER felt the need to own more than the ONE! - Sure, I got a LOT of .22lrs.. but one is a semi auto.. one is a lever action.. one is a bolt action.. one is a pump action.. one is a pistol.. one is a revolver.. I just think it is kinda crazy and purposeless to own a bunch of the same exact rifles. Limiting your collection is one of the hardest things to ever do.. but when you have lots of brothers who also own and collect firearms, it makes it easier to get rid of firearms but still "keep it in the family" - There are a lot of firearms in this world.. and I am a true firearm enthusiast.. and I love collecting rare and historic and even antique firearms..Military Surplus firearms.. black powder muzzle loaders and cap and ball revolvers.. as well as modern day firearms.. and a safe can only hold so much.. time is short.. and I dont got space to waste.
Nice set-ups! Funny thing is, in Idaho you’d never need that type of arsenal. With the exception of the ATF or crooked cops sniffing around where they don’t belong.
I trimmed down my collection drastically each has a purpose and they are outfitted to meet the specific need. That said one rifle is worth 6-10 regular rifles lol.
Interesting background! Your story is almost similar to mine, but, my path was nowhere near as committed to the surfing as you. Maybe because of my age and how late in life I thought I would try this. I could’ve easily gone close to the extreme you went before covid happened. In fact I was setting myself up to possibly live in South America half the year and here the other half just for surfing. Covid happened, then my thoughts were focused on I’m sure like many, self preservation. Not that this actually was the whole reason, but that was pretty much it. Little did I know that deep down, I had an interest in firearms but I always made excuses over the years because of the expense surrounding them. And although I don’t have a wall that looks like yours it’s slowly becoming that way. Anyways good video, good subject, I really enjoyed it.
No reason needed Does a coin collector need a reason to collect his coins, or a knife collector need a reason to collect knives. Hell does a 10yo kid need a reason for a card collection. Most try to justify the reason for their collection
vid too long i’ll get yall straight to the point its nice to collect things we are passionate about , no shit, we know we don’t need 20 rifles to protect our self for home defense. It’s america , because we can if we can afford it 😊
why? because we can. 'MERICA!!! i dont have a firearm addiction. i have a God given, Constitutionally protected RIGHT to bear arms. im just an over achiever in some aspects of my life. :) i 100% agree with "building" your rifles. why spend a $1k+ on a rifle only to strip it down and put things on you want? it makes more sense to build from scratch so you can get what you want right away. one of the hard things to do it to leave it alone once you build it because theres so much cool stuff out there to put on your guns.
Just tell people to mind their own Frickin business if they ask questions about what you own. The people who ask these kinds of questions own like 20 pairs of sneakers, 4 cars, 3.5 bathrooms in their house, 3 year supply of Toilet paper rolls, 1000 pack of N95 masks for Covid 20, and vote Democrat. Ask them why they need more than 1 pair of underwear. LoL

3 is one it’s always one

I have experienced this same thing.
WHY DO YOU NEED SO MANY GUN. (ME) Cause I WANT SO MANY GUNS, and its America! LOL
Dude I’m right with you, just in the beginning stages of building my collection. Variety is the spice of life.
It really is. Every time I think I have all the guns I "need", I find another one that I want.
You could never have too many. Defense; one on every level of the home; clay/skeet; hunting; the list goes on
I’m with you. I own several AR platform firearms in 5.56 in various barrel lengths ranging from 10.3” to 20”. It’s a great platform and incredibly versatile. My favorite firearm in my collection to plink around with is a tie between my MK18 Mod 1 and my AR9 pistol.

Very true. I have a lot of tools, as well.
Same here.. I keep saying my next one is going to be different.. and I end up with another 10.3 - 11.5 build for some reason lol
I lost all my guns in a boating accident 😂
Not me!
I’ve got it double, have had a classic car collection I worked on perfecting all my life, and ten years ago finally decided to by my first AR and concealed carry pistol. Did you go to Panama? Nice beaches for surfing. Back to your topic. I want a wall decorated like yours!
I did spend a day in Northern Panama. I got on the boat right after it had come through the canal. I got the wall from HoldUp Displays. Check them out!
How about it’s your RIGHT to!!!!
I can conceal carry definitely more than one but message felt.
That is definitely possible, but I still generally only carry one at a time.
Awesome video as always. I never thought I would want a 9mm PCC until I tried one. Now that I finally built one.. its what I take to the range the most.

Live and let live, one is none, 2 is one.
Exactly!
Yeah it’s really easy to become a collector. I have many different collections 😮.
This is my only real collection these days. I still have a few surfboards, though...
Because America 🇺🇸
'Merica!
I trimmed down my collection drastically each has a purpose and they are outfitted to meet the specific need.

Ever see an avid fishermans fishin pole collection?
Yes. I guess no matter what you get into, it gets that way.
You could never have enough...
I admit… I have the ism also
Nice!
“Why do you need so many guns”?
My response: because it’s my #1 hobby and passion. 😊
Why no slings? ALL my rifles have their own slings.
What use is there for a sling?
Ever try the Magpul SL or the SL-K? I see nothing but B5s up there. What's up with the variety??🤷♂️
I've tried most of the stocks and grips on the market and B5 Systems turned out to be my favorite, so I put them on everything now.
@sawtoothtactical404 Yeah, but have you tried the SL-K?
Because there are so many guns to have is always my answer. 😅
That's a good answer!
What kind of paint is on the 11.5”? I have an 11.5 I want to have done like that.
It's Rustoleum Camo spray paint. This is the stencil I used to get that effect: amzn.to/41Ixr0F
I have the same disease as you. It is an addiction...
It really is, but at least this addiction doesn't ruin your life...
can you give us all of the parts of your 300 blackout build
I need an interdiction.
Interdiction or intervention?
@@sawtoothtactical404 Both 🤣😂😅
Very addictive!
Does your light blink when you fire?
Why not? I bet you have more than one……..shoe, pants, shirt, car, socks……girlfriend 😉🤣🤣
There may have been times in my life where I had more that one girlfriend...
If shtf.. which of your rifle and pistol are you grabbing
MK18 and the M&P 2.0.
All the guns
Yes!
The tism is real. I also suffer from it
Me too...
Why so many guns? Its a family and American tradition passed on to me from my father
It’s your hobby! Your hobby is yours! ignore the haters! They are just jealous!
Jealous of what ??
No reason needed
Does a coin collector need a reason to collect his coins, or a knife collector need a reason to collect knives. Hell does a 10yo kid need a reason for a card collection.
Most try to justify the reason for their collection
I have the tism
This sounds just like my story lol it's turned into my only hobby a very expensive one it's in my DNA now no turning back
Look end of discussion you can’t have a cool safe or Gun wall with 2 Guns ‼️‼️‼️‼️
Very good point!
Great video I have a few guns in my collection because I have just a lil bit of autistic tendencies.
Not trying to be an ass but what is the correlation? Just trying to learn
vid too long
i’ll get yall straight to the point
its nice to collect things we are passionate about
, no shit, we know we don’t need 20 rifles to protect our self for home defense. It’s america , because we can if we can afford it 😊
TLDR
I think of it as a saving plan for whoever is in my family and fuck yeah it’s addictive
My name is Mike and I’m a gunaholic
My name is George and I also have the addiction.
@ I understand, George 🤷🏻♂️
so do you have to spend $2500 or more to be eligible to say you have a real rifle 🤔 anything under $1900 seems budgeted
why?
because we can. 'MERICA!!!
i dont have a firearm addiction. i have a God given, Constitutionally protected RIGHT to bear arms. im just an over achiever in some aspects of my life. :)

Good point!
Wow I didn’t know that about you. 🏄♂️ 🛥️
Yep. Surfing was my life for many years.
Wow … The buzzards are starting to circle man , your really need help with this channel
U speak Spanish bro.¿ with a job like u had
I had not seen your AR9 before, I found the playlist for it and I will be watching it.🫡
I am getting ready to build a few of them with my son.👊
Most of these people Are just jealous so they have to rag on you
Jealous of what ??
My answer to this question has always been the same. "Because I can and it is my right as a US Citizen."🫡
