Yes, using a heater and a soldering iron to remove a BGA (Ball Grid Array) CPU is a common method. This process should be done carefully to avoid damaging the CPU or the motherboard. Applying flux oil can help in better detachment of the components and also prevent damage to the solder pads during the separation. After removal, thorough cleaning of the pads and the CPU surface from the remaining flux and solder is very important for the new connections to be made without issues.
Here are a few key points for this process:
    1. **Heater Temperature**: The temperature of the heater should be set high enough to melt the solder but not so high as to damage the components.
    2. **Cleaning**: After removing the CPU, it is recommended to use isopropyl alcohol to clean the remaining flux oil and solder from the surface of the CPU and motherboard.
    3. **Caution**: When working with the heater and soldering iron, be careful not to apply direct heat to one spot for too long to prevent damage to the components.

@@vladimirlenin4512 yo that's crazy how electronics got so small and compact and also complicated, so I think that explain how apple and Samsung specially apple iPhones has such small motherboard

@@firesnake6311 even the transistor contained inside those chip are so small that it approaches the size of an atom. with such a small size, you can fit more than 100 billion transistors in the size of a penny
