Where does the essential oil go as well as the vapor pads?

Open up the Unit like you are adding water.
You will see a Slot where the Vapor pad go.
I would be careful adding essential oils to it.
If I did I would add it to the Vapor pad.
Just a few drops on it.

How do you keep water in it?

The Blue part comes off.
You fill the water in it that way.
They you reattach it.

thing is designed to break. If you dont use it for a couple months or so after emptying it and cleaning it, it will leak the next time you use it. Bad product
