The Divco's were delivery trucks primarily for the Dairy industry. They made door to door household deliveries. One of the most unique features was they had a sitting and a standing driving position to facilitate quick access for the door to door deliveries they were made for.
The paint job and interior for this Divco was done by Kounts Kustoms in Las Vegas for House of Kolor. You can check youtube for the episode. Divco's are delivery trucks. Detroit Industrial Vehicle Company. That type of Divco was used primarily for milk delivery in the East and Midwest.
@@ScottieDTV same here......just wish they can go back in build car's like that again...the 50s 60s and the 70s.....they look way better then the new vichles they got out now!!....
That is a great paint job on that Divco. It surely looks a lot different than when it came out of the factory in Detroit DETROIT INDUSTRIAL VEHICLE COMPANY = HENCE DIVCO. Most times they were Milk Trucks, some garbage trucks, bread trucks, small crane vehicles. It looks like a 1940 grill& no parking lights. they used Chevy 1941 parking lights in later 1940s Divco trucks.
That is just one Awesome Dairy Delivery ! It looks like an over the top Custom Hot Wheels ! The painter is a great artist ! I Love It ! Great find Scottie ! Thanks for sharing.
These were commonly used by a lot of delivery companies, back in the 50's, and 60's. My cousin drove one for Lord Baltimore Laundry Service. Lord Baltimore is still in business, and in the same location today, as a uniform company.
The green paint is called “ Lime Time “ if I’m not mistaken unsure about the root beer brown some of he best metallic paint on the market and it’s price reflects it too Thanks for posting Brother ..
The van itself is freaking amazing. The paint quality is equally amazing. The color scheme...meh...personally I'd have designed something a bit more fantastic for a paint company with that name. It is and would have been cool no matter how it was painted though for sure.
Looks like an old Milk truck are milkman use to deliver in it i have a stock picture of it with are milkman standing next to it holding a case of milk his last day of delivery.
I think the colors would work great without the logos/lettering. BTW, sadly I’m old enough to remember this type truck delivering milk to my grandparents home when I was a toddler. 🙁
@@ScottieDTV it's not just you. That's nothing personal. Seems that when people in general video cars, They won't back up or zoom out where you can take the entire car in you try to show someone this badass car on UA-cam, but they can't really tell what it is because you're only looking at one piece of the car at a time I would save the detailed shots for the end of the video after showing the a whole overall car at the beginning. The whole car from different angles slowly.
Ya...that would be a deal on that I would think.....I mean for the guy off he street?...He couldn't get it done for that...even if it was ready to paint when it rolled in the shop....
I wouldn't be caught dead driving in this thing .....the rims are too ghetto....I hope scotty wears his hat backwards and wears baggy pants when he drives this....snoop dog would be proud of this...lol. you can only play rap music when you drive this . Yo yo.....yeah bou q .

I think the "House of Kolor" is Marble paint effect, it's been done here in Australia to a ton of custom imported car builds.

How come and most of these car videos they won't back the camera up off of it where you can actually see the car?
Not sure how much further you wanted me back...or what you missed seeing....But I do the best I can....
