I am in awe! I am an engineer managing digitalization in a chemical company. This gives me so much inspiration for really kick ass apps to build. Thank you for such a great tool!!!
Is this real? I never knew this existed and it can be so much fun and easy to use. I am just starting out and I am struck with its power and simplicity. You guys are amazing :)
I'm new to this and I gotta say, looks amazing!!! It is surprising that seaborn is not between the libraries you can choose to embed from though, Best and thank you!!
Hey Talish, Thank you for the kind words, we really appreciate it. We'd also love to answer any questions you have about Streamlit. Short answer is yes, but obviously it will differ a bit depending on the database you have in mind. To make the communication easier, would you mind asking your question about databases on our community forum here: discuss.streamlit.io. Thanks again!
This is great. I'll convince my office to consider it. One possible use case for us is adding maps to render. So I have a map showing, how can I have a button that says "load location" and one vs browse to a geojson file or shapefile than can show on the map already shown?
Glad you had fun deploying it on your machine! Here is a link to our forum that I hope might help. It's a comment from one of our co-founders about deployment [the whole thread might be helpful as well]: discuss.streamlit.io/t/hosting-streamlit-on-github-pages/356/3 Feel free to let us know if you can't find what you're looking for, more than happy to answer any questions.
Hey King Huang, Teams is in early beta right now. We're still rolling out features and we're only testing it with a few partners. It is a paid service that enables easy deployment, management and collaboration for teams. It will be available for wider testing towards the end of the year. You might have already seen it on our site, but here is the sign-up information if you want to be added to the waitlist: streamlit.io/forteams/
This is really simple and more attractive to use than making a angular,Vue chart based single page applications. Can streamlit work with SQL? wondering how it would know the underlying data changed or maybe runs service that pushes to cache Everytime data changes?

Yes, but not guaranteed to work with all available connection libraries as st.cache decorator may give them problems.
