One of the best Schala renditions I have ever heard. I downloaded your album went it first came out a bit ago and it never ceases to amaze me and hits that nostalgia hard.
I'm stunned beyond words, and I'm in tears XD Schala has been one of my all-time favorite characters in video games ever since I first played Chrono Trigger, way back in the day, and this captures every ounce of what I imagine a 'perfect re-mastering/re-imagining' of her theme could be. All of Schala's hope, her despair, her fear of what her mother's becoming, everything she held back, her quiet determination, AND I'M IN TEARS XD
i tottaly agree with youy about Schala
We had like 15 minutes of screen time with Schala and she had a deeper impact, story and character than some of the main characters (looking at you, crossbow wielding princess)...
She is so tragic after all.
Carrying for the earth bound and treating them as equal, seeing how her mother grew into insanity beyond redemption and having to sacrificenherself, her hopes and dreams so her brother and Chronos friend can live on, defeating Lavados
Schalas's mother wasn't insane, she was evil and short sighted.

I miss the soft accordion in the Sealed Door part of the song. It's what makes it so chilling and enhances the feeling of abandonment. An echo of human civilization. Otherwise, amazing work. Truly one of the best arrangements I've heard.
Absolutely love this and the Chrono Cross/Xenogears Symphony you made, gave me all the chills back from my younger years. Keep up the amazing work!

The Japanese version of the Terrasque (i.e. Lavos) honestly is pretty cool. And frankly, more visually in line with what you might imagine from its description than the western D&D version. Who needs arms when you have massive amounts of magic, regrowable ICBM spikes, and a mouth that serves as a reality severing beam cannon in addition to whatever else it does? It is so fearsome a god-slaying-capable entity that it doesn't NEED measly limbs.
Which frankly makes it a better appearance for a Terrasque than the official Terrasque is. It defies your expectations for needing claws or teeth to be dangerous.
Now with that in mind, the only way to make it better would be to mix it with Sin from FFX. Basically, take Lavos, and give it the ability to fly (though, technically, it probably can already since its larvae need to get to new planets somehow, but it doesn't demonstrate that ability in the game, and given the power it can output + it not being in the future, its unlikely the adult form has actually lost this).

It's kinda sad to see you spending so much time and detail on the creature, and that it looks like almost just a silhouette at the end.
But nonetheless, it's amazing work, I loved to watch the entire progress of making it.
Every time I get to the part where I enter her room, the music stops me in my tracks for a good while. And now here - listening to this orchestration - any semblance of whatever I was doing before is gone. The awesomeness is paralyzing.

What 3D program is that? I've seen Blender, Maya, 3DSMax.... is that Modo, by chance?
All my vfx and graphics are done with 3ds Max, Mudbox, and After Effects/Photoshop. I like Modo, but it's just too weird as a long time 3ds user :P

Software is 3DSMAX, but if I may be so bold, I'd recommend you Blender instead. Just as good, at least, and for free. 🙂

What is the name of this 3D software you're using? It has so much potential.
3ds Max, it has been used in game development for over 20 years
Since I'm studying architecture, I heard of this name many times, but it's not in the curriculum; we mainly use AutoCAD and Revit. So, I've never seen its interface. I bet it takes ages to master, given the never-ending options it gives you.
About your music, I bet the libraries are from the 'Symphobia bros.', and other ProjectSAM productions. Regardless however, the kind of music you're producing is rare. It's a masterpiece.

They did it with Secret of Mana, an almost identical remake of the original, except it now has 3D graphics instead of pixels. AND rumor has it that SquareEnix are planning to give more classics the same treatment.

This music still resonates so powerfully. It really justifies a Chrono Trigger remake or an animated film at the very least.

When a game have the potential to go Dark Souls graphics but the company is lazy(SquareEnix).
Trust me. Ive studied sumerian cuneiform in an unusual way...this games themes...the symbols within it...go beyond a game. It represents our universe in a context thats simplier. Wiccan spells and jesus's prayers are time loops. The ouroboros of self recursion is when your life flashes before your eyes...and the angels of god show you your life before you...you have a chance to become your own guardian angel...since i know this occurs in my future...i can ask my subconscious to hear my future self in this moment...altering time and changing the future. This belief...existed in Atlantis before it sank. (Really, if you cant figure out how i aquired this information i explain it above) and now for me knowing this...this game will never have a movie for we are the movie.
Well....I am now wishing I knew how to make digital art like that...more specifically how to use the bloody programs because the only art program I know how to use is Windows Paint.... And the university I attend doesn't have computer art classes either, so that's not an option....
The music was good too. I'm just fixating on the artwork because I want to be able to do stuff like that but my avenues for learning how....are sadly limited because of where I live. Bleh...
