😊 imagine I started doing your last part stated part more and more this year to help deepen me in understanding my scripture reading and I can admit it has greatly helped me tremendously
My Mother and I started to listen in 1984, when my Father passed, Dr. Stanley came on tv at the right time!!! From than on, we watched and listened to him continually, I especially struggled over my Father's passing, being so I quick, asking God? Why so young? Yes I was angry for a long while, but then Dr. Stanley came on with his sermons, He changed everything for me!!! Thank You Dr. Stanley for being there at the right time, I miss you ❤😢❤so much, but I will continue to listen and watch your sermons, that will never change, I love you so much!! Thank You!!!!❤❤😢❤
Today, I sinned... I confessed my sin in prayer to the Lord and he sent me this video.

"The Fear Of God."
Fear of the Lord leads to life. Not just the beating of the heart. To real life. The true life. And I think about people, who are trying to live out their lives, looking for happiness, looking for peace, looking for joy, looking for this, looking for that, and the truth is, the source that they are looking for, is the very person they keep shoving away. "The Fear Of God." Now when you hear that, you ask yourself the question, well am I to be afraid of God? Or does it mean something else, and when it's used in the scripture, naturally we are to be afraid of God, If we are living in sin. He's our Holy God, a righteous God, now whether you are afraid of God, depends on how you are living. If you are living in sin you have a right to be absolutely afraid of God. He says (the soul that sinneth, It shall die), (the wages of sin is death). (It is appointed on to man once to die, and after this, the judgment). If you're living in sin, you have a right to be afraid of a (Holy God). (The one true God). (Jehovah Yahweh Elohim). His Son Jesus Christ the Lord. (Deuteronomy 13:4. Says you shall follow the Lord your God, and fear Him, and you should keep His commandments, listen to His voice, serve Him, and cling to Him), (that is His command). What do I mean by fearing God. It means simply this, to reverence Him, to honor Him, to exalt Him, to lift Him up, to hold Him in high regard, to worship Him, and to hold Him In high esteem, to obey Him, to acknowledge Him His worthiness, (to honoring His position as creator and judge of all mankind). When you know Jesus Christ as your Savior, that's what it means to fear the living God. No fear of God means, In their understanding as they view life, and as they view the world, no fear in God, no honoring God, In fact, God is a problem to them, because he gets in their way, Holy God does not tolerate sin, Holy God is not going to make you living in sin feel comfortable, or really enjoy yourself. For the moment you may have some brief moments of happiness and joy, but very brief, because Holy God hates sin, He doesn't hate the sinner, but He hates sin, He hates sin because of what sin does to His children, many may think, sin is having a good time, (God sees sin as a detriment to His will, purpose, and plan for your life), and this is why we all should understand what it means to fear the living God, because one day, every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess, that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God. People who are living in sin think, why do I want God in my life? To keep you from dying and being eternally separated from God, and never being able to become the person God wanted you to be, and because you're going to miss Heaven. You don't Fear God, you are going to miss Heaven, you don't fear God and you die in that state ( your going to hell). I don't mean to be critical, but when you turn your back on God, your turning your back on your only hope, the one who loves you, cares for you, and wants the best for you. But He will not make you follow Him, not make you love Him, not make you obey Him, the fear of God is a Holy thought, no matter what people may believe, they cannot avoid the judgment of Holy God, who loves you, but is willing to give us enough free will, if you choose not to love Him, if you choose to die without Him, will let you have what you want, against His loving will. (The only perfect person died on the cross, rose again, seated at the father's right hand, to make intercession for you and me), God is Holy. Therefore we are to fear Him, why should we fear God? Because He commands it, and secondly because the Scripture says, (It's the beginning of knowledge). (Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge), there's a lot of people who think they are smart, they could have 25 degrees in 25 different subjects, they could be an authority above all other authorities, they may be knowledgeable about many things. If they do not fear God (they are missing out, about the most important thing in life), and that is a (personal relationship to Holy God). God says, it's the beginning of knowledge, true genuine knowledge. They may know some facts about many things, but what life's all about is learning who God is. It's the beginning of knowledge.

ByHisCall, Problems and contradictions come in the mind of mankind when sin is chosen over Christ! Beware of what’s in the heart! There is no contradiction in The GOD BREATHED BOOK! The contradiction is in the clouded mind of mankind!
ByHisCall, My Neighbor I did not accuse anyone of choosing sin over Christ I simply said that’s when contradictions come into the mind of mankind and I warned you of what is in the heart of mankind. If you are convicted I didn’t convict you, the Spirit convicted you. You are misunderstanding me, Neighbor. I simply stated the truth that The Word of God is infallible and that It is a clouded minds misunderstanding that is contradictory.
I trust in Jesus, I believe He is the Son of Jehovah GOD. Christ took death for me and I believe on Him. He has given to me His Good and Holy Ghost and He Has promised me Eternal Life. Christ Jesus The LORD loves me, He has chastised me and covered my heart, By His Good and Holy Ghost with His Great Love for me. Repentance is granted to me By His Grace! For I am An Elect of Jesus Christ, according to His Great Grace!
It is nothing I do, and you now judge me, of false faith! When my Faith is in the Holy Son of God!
Not one person receives the sayings given to me.
Repentance is a change of the inner being, proved by the actions of the outer being. Faith is proved by Repentance. Repentance of sins, is the turning to Righteousness, from the evil. Committing no more evil, and committing oneself to Jesus Christ is righteousness. It is by Gods Grace in Jesus Christ that we are granted His mercy to repent, so that we might return to God, through believing on Jesus Christ the only begotten Son of Jehovah GOD. It is by The Grace of God that we are saved through Faith In Jesus Christ The begotten Son of Jehovah GOD.
“The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble. My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee. Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. Stanley is a vantastic speaker he speaks very plainly and calmly that's why I weird to ask God Lord forgive me of any sins that I have committed knowing or Unknowing it's just a daily thing for us try to do a self inventory of self we are human and we will error but by mistake and not intentionally, willful sin is not good read Hebrews 10:26 and then look up willful sin it's a mouthful and I just wanted to share that with you oh, I don't know you but I know real sisters are in Christ Jesus I pray your strength in the Lord and please pray for my strength in the Lord I need it everyday every hour every moment every second

I praise God for using this man for using him to get His word out to the masses around the world. Like do many Dr Stanley has had negative issues in his life but he never faltered. He is steeped in the Word and has made it known by his actions and words that his focus on his/our Lord never proved false. What a tremendous example he has been in providing the Word and message from God.

Great message indeed. It truly is a narrow gate and few will find it. What a tragedy that many folks think they are saved when really they are not. Just saying a prayer years ago does not mean you are saved. "you will know them by their fruits." Repentance as Dr. Stanley spoke of is key. I have truly started working on this in my own life; shedding away worldly things that are not God honoring and walking more in the light. We will stumble yes all the way to the front gate of heaven. But we keep getting up, confess sin, repent of it, and move on. As Dr. Stanley says so well: Obey God and leave all the consequences to him--that is truly living life at its very best."

I didn't realized that I listened to this 2 yrs ago until I looked at the comments. This sermon yet again was like fresh food as I listened to it again this morning. This is a truly powerful sermon. Looking back I can see I am far from where I was 2yrs ago and now my Amen's mean more like "thank you Jesus that I'm not who I used to be." PRAISE God!🙏☝💜 I can only imagine back 2 yrs ago because so much has happened in my life since then, that it was guilt I felt saying Amen feeling I wasn't where I should be I'm life BUT spiritually I know I've come so far, a lot of shame has gone, but the pain still lingers. I fight every day against Satan's attacks on my mind and wrong thinking. I know that with God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit I am winning. I'm so grateful beyond words that They are still with me through ALL my mess. I'm not perfect and it's not easy being me "BUT God" I say to you...whoo Jesus!!!

This is the most honest, truthful message the world needs to hear. Many are lost and not truly saved because there is no repentance. The first words from John and Jesus said was "repent."
Everyone is expecting a political party or candidate to change the world. God says, "IF My people will humble themselves and repent, I will hear their prayers, I will heal their land."
Every single one of his sermons is OnPoint, Direct, understandable and 100 million percent correct I have to listen to Charles Stanley for years. With Jesus working through him and him being so dedicated and close to him dr. Charles Stanley is one of the main reason and teachers of my life. He has helped me through the most excruciating hellish never thought I would get out of days of my life. I can truly and honestly say a because of Charles Stanley I live confident trust in the Lord a closeness that is indescribable and my life is nothing the way it was because I truly needed Jesus to be my Lord and Savior of my life. I really appreciate Pastor Stanley for his honesty and the simple way he teaches us. I have bee a believer most of my life. With many trials and dysfunctional family issues. I've grown more in my spirit by listening to him! Repent, confession, and surrender to Gods will for your life. No regrets at 62 years old!

For a long while I recieved Charles Stanley monthly daily devotions he has a way of preaching with out making the Lord look like he has a big hammer in heaven ready to put the hammer down on you when you are wrong. He preaches with a loving heart but still it is powerful and with conviction of the Holy spirit.

"The Fear Of God."
Fear of the Lord leads to life. Not just the beating of the heart. To real life. The true life. And I think about people, who are trying to live out their lives, looking for happiness, looking for peace, looking for joy, looking for this, looking for that, and the truth is, the source that they are looking for, is the very person they keep shoving away. "The Fear Of God." Now when you hear that, you ask yourself the question, well am I to be afraid of God? Or does it mean something else, and when it's used in the scripture, naturally we are to be afraid of God, If we are living in sin. He's our Holy God, a righteous God, now whether you are afraid of God, depends on how you are living. If you are living in sin you have a right to be absolutely afraid of God. He says (the soul that sinneth, It shall die), (the wages of sin is death). (It is appointed on to man once to die, and after this, the judgment). If you're living in sin, you have a right to be afraid of a (Holy God). (The one true God). (Jehovah Yahweh Elohim). His Son Jesus Christ the Lord. (Deuteronomy 13:4. Says you shall follow the Lord your God, and fear Him, and you should keep His commandments, listen to His voice, serve Him, and cling to Him), (that is His command). What do I mean by fearing God. It means simply this, to reverence Him, to honor Him, to exalt Him, to lift Him up, to hold Him in high regard, to worship Him, and to hold Him In high esteem, to obey Him, to acknowledge Him His worthiness, (to honoring His position as creator and judge of all mankind). When you know Jesus Christ as your Savior, that's what it means to fear the living God. No fear of God means, In their understanding as they view life, and as they view the world, no fear in God, no honoring God, In fact, God is a problem to them, because he gets in their way, Holy God does not tolerate sin, Holy God is not going to make you living in sin feel comfortable, or really enjoy yourself. For the moment you may have some brief moments of happiness and joy, but very brief, because Holy God hates sin, He doesn't hate the sinner, but He hates sin, He hates sin because of what sin does to His children, many may think, sin is having a good time, (God sees sin as a detriment to His will, purpose, and plan for your life), and this is why we all should understand what it means to fear the living God, because one day, every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess, that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God. People who are living in sin think, why do I want God in my life? To keep you from dying and being eternally separated from God, and never being able to become the person God wanted you to be, and because you're going to miss Heaven. You don't Fear God, you are going to miss Heaven, you don't fear God and you die in that state ( your going to hell). I don't mean to be critical, but when you turn your back on God, your turning your back on your only hope, the one who loves you, cares for you, and wants the best for you. But He will not make you follow Him, not make you love Him, not make you obey Him, the fear of God is a Holy thought, no matter what people may believe, they cannot avoid the judgment of Holy God, who loves you, but is willing to give us enough free will, if you choose not to love Him, if you choose to die without Him, will let you have what you want, against His loving will. (The only perfect person died on the cross, rose again, seated at the father's right hand, to make intercession for you and me), God is Holy. Therefore we are to fear Him, why should we fear God? Because He commands it, and secondly because the Scripture says, (It's the beginning of knowledge). (Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge), there's a lot of people who think they are smart, they could have 25 degrees in 25 different subjects, they could be an authority above all other authorities, they may be knowledgeable about many things. If they do not fear God (they are missing out, about the most important thing in life), and that is a (personal relationship to Holy God). God says, it's the beginning of knowledge, true genuine knowledge. They may know some facts about many things, but what life's all about is learning who God is. It's the beginning of knowledge.
