Great work! Wish this existed when I removed the oil pan for the timing chain service. It on the list of mods to install when I swap out rod bearings (an FCP Euro video on in-car N20 rod bearing replacement would really help!). Keep up the good work and continuing to champion the N20!
The N55 oil starvation issue can be tackled pretty well by doing the S55 oil scavenging system upgrade! www.fcpeuro.com/blog/bmws-s55-oil-scavenging-system-the-ultimate-n55-performance-upgrade
I wanted to ask about this too since the design of the xdrive models doesn't suffer from this movement of oil on g forces due to the area the axle takes. but a response from FCP Euro will be great.
Great question! We did not design one for xDrive vehicles, as the xDrive oil pans do not feature a completely open front like the RWD pans do - keeping the pickup much more consistently submerged. However, the side-to-side movement may still be an issue, so maybe we should design a smaller version for that pan as well!
Also considering such a baffle for the N55? This could prevent rod bearing issues. Edit: I see you already sell the MMR solution. It's much more expensive though.

We'll have to add Rod Bearings to the list - maybe next oil change you can tackle it 😅

PLEASE make classic BMW performance parts that would be huge, Like a comprehensive 24v swap kit for a E30.
In Alex Nelson we trust 🙌 that guy is the best
Something to point out is that the drops would be much more severe on the modified car without baffle with the added traction and increased G forces.
Outstanding 😎
Make one for e-series n55 ❤️🔥❤️🔥
Incredible!
Ok now I wanna see y’all do this with a 435i

Did you consider making the baffle plate for the xdrive as well?

Yep! It's designed to clear both the OEM plastic and URO upgraded pans for RWD applications.

Cheaper than the S55 oiling system upgrade. 😊
@KM-ol5bs True. I might consider it. But I'm not tracking/drifting/dragging mine.
