Man, I feel for River. He’s been so fun to watch, just the way he plays, it’s easy to tell he loves the game. Come back healthy!
AAARRR! SHIVER ME TIMBERS AND AHOY ME BLUE HEARTIES! Gavin Lux really heating up with the bat. Keep it up kid! LET'S GO DODGERS!
He is in the play, no long swing
It makes me wonder if club expectations are causing injuries or is it the players striving to be extraordinary ? I really hope River isn't hurt.
Or maybe the pitch clock making pitchers have less time for rest?
Well it always seems to happen when another pitcher is getting ready to return from the IL. Yamamoto and Buehler will be back soon. Then probably Wrobleski will eventually get hurt too
Its a combination of the sticky stuff crackdown plus the pitch clock. Pitchers are having to work harder than they ever have because of how much harder it is to grip the ball plus having to speed up their rythyms.
All these injuries is very devestating
No kidding. But we’ve got Mookie back on Monday, Walker on Wednesday, and Max probably this month. Still, I loved watching River play, and I hope it won’t be long until he can take the mound again.
@@JonathanAufderheide-ln8pr yep but I think river will be back on his next projected start because it says he’s on the day to day il
@@matixgames9304 Hopefully. 🤞
@@motokid413you spelled “devastating” wrong
This is a big reason for me never adopting the World Series or bust attitude for this season. River Ryan has pitched better than everyone since his call up and of course he gets hurt . This season seems to be cursed.
Let's continue a winning streak! LFG DODGERS!!😎⚾
Great to see Lux keep it going
River might have tweaked his arm on that play he made in the 1st inning. The team describing it as forearm tightness is vague. Hopefully it’s only muscular.
It is sad and frustrating that Ryan has been injured, he is a very young boy, with great projection, who has been doing very well. I hope it's not something serious. On another note, Gavin Lux's last few weeks have been wonderful, just when the Dodgers needed an extra boost due to injuries to Mookie and Max, plus the absence of Freeman.
Jeeeez dude, ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST. Half of our roster is on the IL
What will they do when Mookie returns? They can't leave Rojas on the bench, much less Lux, they are on fire, congratulations Gavin Lux 🎉🎉🎉
Mookie Will be their starting right fielder, Gavin Lux will probably play second almost daily, and then I can see shortstop being split between Nick Ahmed and Miguel Rojas.
Roberts said Mookie will be starting RF on Monday
Where are the Lux critics? 2:19 His defense is improving and he's hit .375 since July 11th.
I feel that the pitching quality of the Dodgers has increased these last games.
The BP has really stepped up!
Let’s go dodgers
⚾ LET'S GO DODGER BLUE!!! ⚾
Roberts intends to put Ohtani in the lead-off position instead of Betts, who will return against the Brewers the day after tomorrow, but is clearly in a hitting slump.
Could he attempt to change the batting order?
№ 1 Mookie Betts.
№ 2 Freddie Freeman
№ 3 Teoscar Hernandez
№4 Shohei Ohtani
№5 Gavin Lux
№6 Will Smith
№7 Kike Hernandez
№8 Kevin Kiermaier
№9 Miguel Rojas
What do you think?I think it's better to relax and let Ohtani bat without putting too much pressure on him.
I doubt it, it’s Dave Roberts
Yes Betts should be in the leadoff spot and a guy they acquired who's hitting over .300 on the season should be in the lineup every day.
@@richstrobelAmed Rosario
Organon I number would be higher if he do not bat lead off
Great effort for the win, Dodgers!
Is the stadium playing cantaloupe island by herbie Hancock @ 5:20??
Lets go doyers blue 🇲🇽
Teoascar almost got a clycle 😭
I was there at themagical game
“WHAT A MAGICAL NIGHT!”
Pitch clock needs an extra five seconds to help reduce injuries Manfred. Forget it, he won't listen to us. He just wants the game to go fast.
✊🏽💪🏽💙💯🕊️
Dodger 💙
LETS GO DODGERS
I hope it's minor for River. He put on a show in those innings
Bro Mookie betts has been gone for like two months already. I just wanna know when he’s coming back.
He should be back tomorrow
As a rays fan, I don’t care I’ll always cheer for Kevin k
I told you what to expect for the second half of the season. A long losing streak swept every series.
Luz needs to stay in the line up, he's on 🔥
You mean Lux?
우리 럭스 ㄷㄷㄷ
Everything and everyone should be questioned on the training and pitching staff, the amount of injuries is not right, it can’t be just bad luck. Does any other team in MLB have the number of TJ surgeries and arm problems that the Dodgers have?
Ahhh Huevo!!!....
Hey guys, dial back the routine play celebrations. Have some class.
Mookie will be the DH and Ohtani will not play. Just think about it simply.
👍
Shoverrated has 6 hits in his last 40 at bats. 😂
lux
Is the 15 to 25 minutes really worth it mlb????? NO MORE PITCH CLOCK ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
Gyanbura Shohei has six hits in his last forty at bats. 😂
Hater. Even in the midst of a bad hitting streak, the dude is still batting .300 for the year (tied for 8th in MLB, 2nd in NL). 35 HRs (tied for 2nd in MLB, 1st in NL). 83 RBIs (7th in MLB (2nd in NL). 32 SBs (tied for 3rd in MLB, stand alone 3rd in NL). Not even in the opt 25 in strike outs in all of MLB and 20th in NL. Yea, sure, he's awful. He's only a likely MVP candidate, so I guess you think he might as well quit now. 🙄
