Thanks for the great content. Can you do a walk around with the bags off the bike standing back a little? It’s hard to get an idea of the profile view with the bags and being this close. Thanks.
Great video. Im torn between this and the corbin Ima 90% on street rider, lookin for maximum comfort. After a 200+mile day on my 22’ I decided a seat is what’s needed. Anyhoo thanks for ur video
I would say the Saddlemen is a more aggressive seat and definitely not as wide as the Corbin. I could definitely put a good day of riding on the Saddlemen, but multiple back to back maybe a little tough. It does get better and better the more miles I get on it. Thanks for watching!
How is the wall sharp edge offroad?Stock has a 45 degree wall wich looks more apropriate when taking hard bumps or jumps while standing… I don’t see how this could be a good design for the Pan America. Loved saddlemen step up on my cruiser but this design looks wrong for an adv motorcycle.
@@hotel-delta did you do some off road riding with it standing? I orderd this seat but I see a lot of ppl saying the step up will be bad for off roading
Does the pillion sit higher than stock? Unless the pillion is signifcantly shorter than the rider, the pillion on the stock seat cops plenty of wind buffeting, if they sit higher on the Saddleman, wind buffetting will only get worse.
@@hotel-delta My wife has been riding on the back of my bikes for many years. Even with the taller 18" HD windscreen wind buffeting for her at highway speed is a disaster and she claims it's the worse of all other bikes she has ridden on. Note that my wife is several inches shorter than me but sits 3" higher on the PA. The winds goes over my helmet and smashes into hers. I fixed the problem by replacing the HD flimsy crap with the solid Madstad system (18" screen). I am 5'8".
Looks great on the bike - thanks for the review. We appreciate it.
I appreciate your seats and great customer service 👍
@@hotel-delta Thanks for the kind words, keep us posted on how the seat is for yah along the way! Thanks!
Will do
does it come in the lowest seat available.?

It will be coming shortly
Can't wait until they get mine finished it takes forever

The question I've always had looking at this seat is - does the high or deep cut behind the rider provide any extra back support?
It does a little for me, if I was taller it would probably be more advantageous.

Haven't had any issues with it so far. The wall is far enough back that it doesn't interfere. The seat gets better and better the more I ride it.

I would say it's much better than stock. Less area to interfere and the shape gives you better reach to the ground.
That looks awesome. Its nice to have options. So the 1 piece fitment works ok?
Absolutely, it's a perfect fit. No issues
H/D, is it gel? Good looking seat.

Wind buffeting for the passenger? I wouldn't expect it to be any worse than stock. Not that I ride 2 up...

Does this force you to slide forward like the OE seat?
Mine did not slip on that easy.. how does it strap down on the front?!
It slides into the stock seat position
Really nice. Stock seats on harleys are terrible
There are some good ones, they are mostly too soft for my liking
Has anyone ordered with the little backrest? does it make a difference? removable? thanks
None of our customers have run that seat as of yet
Does this have a heated option?
Not yet, at least that I am aware of
How much is it?
$459 retail
@@hotel-delta Is this the "Tour" "Tour Low"?
which model saddlemen seat is this?
The low seat height
@@hotel-delta Thanks - My ass is killing me on stock seat after an hour. Is this drastically improved? now that you have had for a while?
Does it lock into the low position as well ..?..
It only works in one position
