This was a strangely relaxing watch! It's fun to see pinball table maintenance & upkeep. I hope whenever down the line I finally buy my first table I don't run into any trouble, but you make it seem almost fun to just maintain your stuff.

At first I was like, wow, stern sent a new cabinet and stood behind their product...by the end of the video I was like, screw stern for not either replacing the whole thing, or sending out a rep to carry out the swap.

Ouch, man. Sorry to hear your cabinet was splitting badly. At least Stern was willing to work with you, so Kudos to them along with your distributor. Looks like the game is playing well now too!
I'm very happy you make videos like this, I'm still learning how to work on machines and I'm trying to absorb as much info as I can. Keep up the great videos!

Good job, Chris. Trials and tribulations of not only a long time pinball collector, but emphasized some the cost cutting methods that Stern attempted, got caught red handed, and failed. I do give credit for Stern's willingness to correct matters in good faith. However, I remain unimpressed with their service bulletins or the SPIKE system in general.

Gotta give Stern credit for getting these assorted fixes out when problems arise. Given how much these tables cost, it'd suck to have to fund expensive repairs yourself, lol.
In a fun note, the next table on The Pinball Arcade is going to be Banzai Run. I'm excited to finally give that one a shot. The verticality of it always intrigued me. So few tables seemed to try playing with height that I've seen.
I have to be honest ... the "build quality" I've seen the last number of years has me kind of shaky about purchasing anything right now. But, at the same time, I do have to give it up to Stern for always taking-care of me when I've needed something (and Trent for facilitating it). That is what keeps me in good spirits about it. Ha ha. I love me some BR! :)

Great video as always Chris. Can't help but be hesitant from buying anymore new Sterns because of this. It seems the GB pin had the most production problems, including the clearcoat playfield problems, the cabinet splitting, air ball and board problems, etc. Really makes me worry know about my GBLE and how long it will hold up.

I had purchased the same ghostbuster premium cabinet and had the same issue with mine. I called stern for 4 months and they kept saying that it was ok and they can’t replace it but offer a new side art. They were also giving me the run around telling me that a rep from los angles California was going to make time for me but after 4 months of calling every week I didn’t see it happening I was told there was no chance of getting a new cabinet after all the waiting just side art and I said just give me side art and a shaker motor we call it even. They did several me all those things but I felt let down that they didn’t resolve my issue fully with a full replacement. After spending 7k you think they would.
Wow that's an awful lot of work but then again...with pinballs it kinda part of the fun indeed...! keep up the vids ! cool watching ya !

Cabinet splitting is something bad on a table good thing you caught that early as for the pinball arcade they just released their final table of season 7 with banzai run that table you have/had for a while and was trying to fix it what happened to it anyway as well as pinbot with the whole ramp sun inserts and everything what did happen to those tables anyway and you need to find a bone busters inc pinball machine cause that was supposed to originally be à ghostbusters pinball machine but it got changed sometime along the line into bone busters inc Spida1a
Man, what a pain. I would have suggested a partial refund.
