- I use to use a Brushmate but moved on to Go Paint Store And Go.
it's a gel that the brushes go straight in and clips in around the edges.
with its height you can also Store rad rollers too.
A smaller compact design it can fir in the van nicely.
Once the gel starts turning watery then it's time to change the gel which you can buy separately in a pot which drops straight in.
perfect for my white solvent brushes and rollers.
I just drop oil brushes into a container with enough water in it to cover the bristles, stops the air from getting to it and a quick shake off and you’re good to go, I seldom use oil indoors but only ever use it for exteriors. Good vid as usual though.
I use to do that before brushmate came out but the water used to go stagnant especially in the summer months
@@danielnugent2168 I just change the water .
Nice one
Cheers bud 👍🏻
I store mine in a kettle of water now that brushmate doesn’t work anymore
True mate. I've been hearing about the new formula fluid isn't as good as the original
By solvent brushes, do you mean 100% natural bristle brushes?
Some are but I mean brushes used in solvent or oil based paints where white spirits are needed to clean them out
This is ideal
just store them in a steel container with lid in white spirit how ive always done it then recycle the white spirit when you burn your kettles and scuttles out no need for these expensive storage things
Hey mate. I think as I'm using less solvent I came across this
It's ideal as it's so compact
Fits in the van a treat
@@danielnugentpainteranddeco557 yeah see what you mean Dan and i suppose not that expensive if your only using now and then but no good if your using solvent every job like me
