Senegal is a dynamic country whose political landscape has seen the winds of change that have brought with them a revitalized feeling of hope and determination. Following the election of a new administration, Senegal's leaders have pledged to work tirelessly to promote stability and development in the nation. Senegal's new leaders are trying to create a secure and affluent country as they set off on a path driven by creativity, inclusivity, and the desire for a better future. In today’s video, we will be looking at a major remark the Senegalese Prime Minister, Ousmane Sonko has made concerning France. We will also be giving you some hints on the blockage of a popular passage used by thousands of Senegalese migrants to enter the US via flights.
But before we continue, make sure you like this video and subscribe to the New Tourist Channel so you get updates on important things happening in Senegal and Africa as a whole.
In a comprehensive speech on Thursday last week, Senegal's prime minister Ousmane Sonko touched on several topics, including the euro-backed CFA franc, oil and gas transactions, and LGBTQ rights. He even mentioned the potential of closing French military posts in the West African nation. Sonko came to prominence in March after his hand-picked presidential candidate, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, won a resounding victory. Sonko is well-known for criticizing what he saw as French imperialism in its former colony.

Renegociations is best decision! Worst for Senegal and Africa is to continue the exploration and robbery of the resources!

France military is not here for the benefit of the people of West Africa but for the benefit of looting and explaining African resources France needs to get out and they also need to get out of the CFA which is another benefit to France and not they need to be economically and politically free from France in order to be truly free.

The gov needs to follow Burkina Faso's example and cut the salaries of top officials by 30%, increasing all civil servants like doctors, nurses, teachers, military personnel etc😢 by same amount as a way to level a bit the standard of living and creating a middle class. This would curb curruption. One must start somewhere.....

Yes , Total independence must be from under the begrudgingly tight fist of the Colonizer. Never forget the past. Knowledge is power. The youth with knowledge at hand of the past is the way to go

Renegotiation is not the best thing to do. I'm talking with technical experience tell France and all foreign businesses to close and leave. Then after you call them with your terms and conditions whoever want to come back let them come back

Education in the west has been poisoned. The result for hard work in technical subjects is marginal competency and for liberal arts majors is radicalization and disruption without economic skills. Even mathematics has been infiltrated with unproven assertions presented as facts. While approximations are very useful, they all have locality, beyond that locality, divergence is inevitable. The imperialists have corrupted everything and it will take a Herculean effort to get on track to prosperity and accomplishment. It begins with reforming textbook publishers.

What are the oil and mining contracts are all about? Technical expertise to drill? I think African technicians and engineers are now called to task to build devices that will allow their countries to drill, and exploit gas to be put on the markets. That is really the challenge Africans face in trying to regain control of their land and resources.

Macron and his entourage, and the U.K., amongst others, should realize, that their continued Colonialist pretenses are History, and that African, as well as other occupied territories have opted to sever the Chains of Slavery, and start a new era of full Independence from the Occupiers. These countries finally will be able to breath Pure Oxygen in their Sovereign State of Affaires without the permanent interference of the former Colonialists. Vive le Senegal te l’Afrique Libre!!
