- How to draw and texture a carnotaurus head.
This time I combined the drawing tutorial and the texturing tutorial into the one video, just for something different.
I have a few tutorials and videos I'm getting ready to share, not all of them specifically for Tutorial Tuesday. I just want to share the videos and having one weekly seems too little. I'll try having more than one a week where I can :) Keeping these to under 30 minutes is a challenge though.
I hope you continue drawing. Your work of art has expanded my subjects in drawing.
I'm really glad my art expanded your drawings, it's a shame I'm only seeing this in 2020, but I think maybe I tried to reply to this 4 years ago and there may have been a bug preventing me from directly replying. I know there were a lot of bugs with youtube back then.
Hey!
Great job on the Carnotaurus Head illustration, as a matter of fact, I am currently learning the different textures and skills to draw certain type of picture (mostly dinosaurs) and finally I found the perfect channel which is yours... anyway keep up the good work and hopefully you have a bright future!
***** Thank you so much for the kind words! I really appreciate it! Half the reason I made this channel was to provide to people what I myself have found difficult to find on youtube :) Thank you so much and same to you too! :D
I have a good draw idea... Draw blue and rexy fighting the indominus! :D
Awesome work of art! I still can't believe i was the first to like the video! But really, that Carnotaurus was amazing. I am glad you took my suggestion I have commented in another video. Thanks!
I'm really sorry I'm only seeing this comment now 4 years on :( such a nice a nice comment too!
That's an awesome dinosaur.
Tomas Roberts Thank you very much :) Carnotaurus is a rather unique dinosaur :)
It was discovered in 1985, in Argentina, I believe. It was also famous for the role of the two Carnotaurus pair in Disney's Dinosaur.
I really like this. Mosasaurus is still my favorite
I KNOW IT'S NOT ACTUALLY A DINOSAUR
That Insanely intelligent Velociraptor (Or Dienonychus, If you want to get Technical) Well, technically this isn't a dinosaur channel ;) So you can still love Mosasaurus for whatever it is ;) :)
its getting hard to find you comments now, especially because I'm limiting my self to one reply per comment
A little suggestion/request: can you draw your own hybrid? Something smooth and beautiful like Indominus Rex (I find it beautiful), not something too exaggerated like Ultimasaurus. Thanks. :)
Deto Cerqueira I like this idea. I at first was put off by the idea of hybrids. The Indominus Rex worked well. Wasn't a huge fan of it's teeth, but otherwise I thought it could pass for a legitimate dinosaur. Anything I do try to create I at least want it to seem feasible as a real dinosaur. Unless I go completely off the rails! Hehehe... you ever know! I'm planning armored dinosaurs, similar to dinotopia :)
Beanie Draws Yea, the Indominus Rex could pass as a real dinosaur, that's what I meant with 'smooth'. And I'm looking forward to your future uploads - already have drawn 3 dinosaurs from your videos, one being the Indominus Rex, another being Blue running and the latest being the cute cartoon dino (with slight differences). Although they didn't turn out as good (obviously), I liked the outcome. At least they turned out better than any drawing I've ever done before. Thanks. :)
I hope you do cartoon one because there so cute plus love your drawings
Marc Cassau I wasn't intending on doing a cartoon carnotaurus, but now I think I might :P I could literally do all my videos as cartoons as well :P
You're so good at drawing! 😎😵😶
Philz3TT Thank you ^_^
thank you for doing the neck, I wanted to do a full body, and would have screwed up if I did it myself :D
Hahaha glad I could help! Shame I'm only seeing this in 2020 now.
You should do a Beginners Tutorial on how to draw dinosaurs. Just like general tips and stuff. Awesome job and good luck on the channel! :D
I should probably try doing this in 2020. Shame I'm only seeing this comment now, not sure why I never saw it when you first made it, but it's a fantastic idea!
This is great artwork :)
Thanks mate, I appreciate that! Sorry for the late reply
beanie please make a drawing of the dimorphodon and you're a really good artist but please answer me, i really love you're drawings!
Can you do a speed drawing of toro the carnotaurus from Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous
I really should. I did a speed drawing of Trex vs Carnotaurus just recently 😎
Great piece dude. A suggestion though, when drawing your dinosaurs, don't draw in the sockets because it makes the animal seem very sick and skinny. It's a common practice called shrink wrapping. Other than that, this is great! Keep it up.
And could you check out my deviantart. I would love your feedback.
Ur really good at drawing and keep up the good work! I wish I can draw like that but if I keep practicing I'll get better
Blue_Raptor Thank you so much! Keep drawing all the time and you will definitely improve and evolve over time :)
Fun fact: Carnotaurus means "Man-eating Bull", due to the two horns positioned above it's eyes. I like to think of it's snout like a brachycephalic dogs. Like a bulldog or a rottweiler :) AND THEIR ARMS ARE SO TEENY
That Insanely intelligent Velociraptor (Or Dienonychus, If you want to get Technical) Nice one! "Man-eating Bull" that makes me want to draw a vicious bull now haha!
+Beanie Draws
You're very good at drawing dinosaurs, I have to say.
+Beanie Draws
Do you think you can draw a Masiakasaurus?
Twins are double the trouble. They tag team with each other and get me for no apparent reason. My baby twin brothers are boys so they fight all the time. Because I am their older brother, they fight with me. I hope you do a tutorial of Megalodon.
John Amato Hehe ahh twins...Sounds like you get a fun deal of trouble haha! See how we go with megalodon :) Also, it seems to take me about 1-2 hours to respond to a day's worth of comments! I love doing it and I'll do my best to keep doing it, but the bigger the numbers, the longer it might take to respond to comments :) (though for those reading this, don't ever stop commenting because I love reading it! Just hard to get back to everyone quickly)
Beanie Draws Will you ever do tutorial of how to draw a Megalodon? That particular one may be interesting and a little bit of a challenge because you said so yourself that you really only draw dinosaurs not the aquatic ones. Everybody likes a little challenge. That is what I have been wondering. So I just wanted to ask. By the way, that comment I previously commented was an accident. I was trying to type this comment but, my baby brothers that are twins touched my phone and pressed POST.
John Amato I've seen the megalodon requests :) I'll get to it when I can, but to be honest, it looks so much like a shark, it may end up just being a shark tutorial hehe. Hehehe, I know all about accidental postings, I do it all the time WITHOUT people touching my phone or computer so you're good :)
You're right about the challange. The main reason why I'm not overly sure about Megalodon is because it looks so much like a shark. Maybe I can do the megalon fighting/eating a mosasaur. Mosasaur in Jurassic World seems about the size of a megalodon when the skeleton looks to be half that actual size. So maybe Megalodon (double the size o mosasaur) getting back at megalodon could be a cool spin :)
Thanks for the suggestion :) Hopefully I don't forget it hehe, I have a short memory sometimes. I almost forgot to do carnotaurus until I remembered :P
Beanie Draws I am glad you accepted my suggestion. It is a good feeling I am helping with a person's reputation.
Hey benny, can u draw a super croc jumping out of the water grabbing a T. rex ? Ps love ur vids u are a pro!
I think you mean sarcosuchus
Very cool idea! Shame I'm only now getting it in 2020. UA-cam had REALLY bad comment filtering back then.
Great drawing! BTW Today is my B'day!
Miki TheDog Happy Birthday! :D How old are you on this fine morning/day/afternoon/evening/night
I'm 12! *Yay*
Miki TheDog Awesome! Happy Birthday :D I'm glad you liked this video :D Much more to come! :D Thanks for watching and I hope you are having an epic birthday! ^_^
hello woo carnotaurus is beautiful a t-rex is drawing yesyesyesyes
I don't think we even know Carnotaurus was going to show up in a Jurassic movie when you posted this 3 years ago :) pretty cool stuff :)
Since it has been announced that Jurassic World 2 will contain Militarised Raptors. It would be cool to see what your take on that would be for a future video.
And it goes without saying, once again this drawing was brilliant.
+UnrealDifficulty Thank you very much! And yes militarised raptors sounds cool. Actually, I saw a gif with a weaponised tyrannosaurus which looked badass. I think I'm going to do a few militarised dinosaurs in the future :)
Wow
Beanie if you are still taking a long time to upload a video then try this thing called handbrake it's a program that reduces your video files to zip and take significantly shorter to upload videos!
Wow, another old comment that I'm only seeing now, although I'm pretty sure I replied to this, or maybe I saw it and that's why I've been really into handbrake now :) it's a great program.
Do a tutorial on how to draw a carnotasaurus full body
Legit gaming Actually currently working on that at the moment. I'll be doing the body detail tomorrow. To be honest, I actually forgot about it until I read this, so thank you for reminding me!
Wow! Could you draw Ceratosaurus! With armor plating on it's back?
Kodi Tolleson I did see that one pop up when I was collecting references for this one :) So you never know :) I'm toying with the idea of dinosaurs with armour. You should check out Dinotopia (the old books) they have some interesting paintings of dinosaurs in armour.
you should draw a full body of dilophosaurus from jurassic park
jude gouyette I've had a few requests now, and I do have some reference images. I'm very tempted now :)
Is this an accurate Carno?
I thought on Twitter you said you would redo the Carno?
TheminecraftJose I did, but by time I got half an hour in I got kinda tired of it because it wasn't looking as good as this one. I might re-visit it and continue it... recorded the drawing, but I didn't tackle it as a tutorial, mainly wanted to re-do the scales and but the end I just got too tired. I do have a full body in the process though so I might apply the scales to that one instead :)
Tutorial Tuesday comes out at 11pm Monday night for me Beanie :P
That Insanely intelligent Velociraptor (Or Dienonychus, If you want to get Technical) You must be in California then :P Or near abouts, because it's now 11pm Tuesday night here in Australia. The good thing about that though is it gives me an extra day leway ;) :P Or I should just make the video public at night my time. I was just eager to get something out to you all because it's been a while :)
No where near california... I'm in Alabama xD
I wish I could draw like you I can only draw indominus
Well this comment is 4 years old now :( shame youtube is only showing it to me now :( but I find it hard to draw Indoraptor now, so you just have to keep trying and keep drawing :) I hope you're stilld rawing now :)
I KNOW WHY THE SCORPIUS REX HAS A SMALL MOUTH BECAUSE IT IS MADE OF THE CARNOTAURUS DNA
TOAST!!!!
*does a gaming beaver laugh* 😆😁
Can you please!!!!!!! Draw a Ceratosaurus
It's definitely on my to do list :)
Carnotaurus means "Meat Eating Bull"
That it does! Because of the horns on it's head :)
😁😁😁😁😁
😄sorry I'm only seeing this now in 2020
If your going for accuracy then DON'T draw the fenestra
Why's that? curious to know? :) I also had to google to see what that word meant haha, but yeah I've heard a few people say that you wouldn't actually see those hole indentations. Would it be a muscle thing?
I have no idea I just heard its inaccurate but I kinda like it on dinosaurs, I just wanted to let you know incase you will do some accurate recreations of dinosaurs
Fun fact, there is only 1 complete and ever fossil of the carno found
That's a very interesting fact! Thanks for that :) sorry I'm only seeing this comment now in 2020. UA-cam wasn't great at serving out comments back then.
Your Carnotaurus look so big of his head that is not the real look for Carnotaurus , It look so weird to me but still enjoy this video .
Sorry for the late reply, but you're totally right! After the research I've done since this video was published, the length of it's head does bother me. I plan on doing better ones in 2020. Thanks for the comment! :D
